யோபு 21

1 ௧ யோபு மறுமொழியாக:

Then Job answered,

2 ௨ “என் வசனத்தைக் கவனமாகக் கேளுங்கள்; இது நீங்கள் என்னை ஆறுதல் செய்வதுபோல இருக்கும்.

"Listen diligently to my speech. Let this be your consolation.

3 ௩ நான் பேசப்போகிறேன், சகித்திருங்கள்; நான் பேசினபின்பு கேலிசெய்யுங்கள்.

Allow me, and I also will speak; After I have spoken, mock on.

4 ௪ நான் மனிதனைப்பார்த்தா அங்கலாய்க்கிறேன்? அப்படியானாலும் என் ஆவி வேதனைப்படாதிருக்குமா?

As for me, is my complaint to man? Why shouldn't I be impatient?

5 ௫ என்னைக் கவனித்துப்பாருங்கள், அப்பொழுது நீங்கள் ஆச்சரியப்பட்டு, உங்கள் வாயைக் கையால் பொத்திக்கொள்வீர்கள்.

Look at me, and be astonished. Lay your hand on your mouth.

6 ௬ இதை நான் நினைக்கும்போது கலங்குகிறேன்; நடுக்கம் என் சரீரத்தைப் பிடிக்கும்.

When I remember, I am troubled. Horror takes hold of my flesh.

7 ௭ துன்மார்க்கர் முதிர்வயதுவரை உயிருடனிருந்து, ஏன் வல்லவராகவேண்டும்?

"Why do the wicked live, become old, yes, and grow mighty in power?

8 ௮ அவர்களுடன் அவர்கள் சந்ததியார் அவர்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும், அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகள் அவர்கள் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும் திடப்படுகிறார்கள்.

Their child is established with them in their sight, their offspring before their eyes.

9 ௯ அவர்கள் வீடுகள் பயமில்லாமல் பத்திரமாக இருக்கும்; தேவனுடைய தண்டனை அவர்கள்மேல் வருகிறதில்லை.

Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them.

10 ௧0 அவர்களுடைய எருது பொலிந்தால், வீணாய்ப்போகாது; அவர்களுடைய பசு சினை அழியாமல் ஈனுகிறது.

Their bulls breed without fail. Their cows calve, and do not miscarry.

11 ௧௧ அவர்கள் தங்கள் குழந்தைகளை ஒரு மந்தையைப்போல வெளியே போகவிடுகிறார்கள்; அவர்கள் பிள்ளைகள் குதித்து விளையாடுகிறார்கள்.

They send forth their little ones like a flock. Their children dance.

12 ௧௨ அவர்கள் தம்புரையும் சுரமண்டலத்தையும் எடுத்துப் பாடி, கின்னரத்தின் ஓசைக்குச் சந்தோஷப்படுகிறார்கள்.

They sing to the tambourine and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the pipe.

13 ௧௩ அவர்கள் சமாதானமாய் தங்கள் நாட்களைப் போக்கி, ஒரு நொடிப்பொழுதிலே பாதாளத்தில் இறங்குகிறார்கள். (Sheol h7585)

They spend their days in prosperity. In an instant they go down to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)

14 ௧௪ அவர்கள் தேவனை நோக்கி: எங்களைவிட்டு விலகியிரும், உம்முடைய வழிகளை அறிய விரும்பவில்லை;

They tell God, 'Depart from us, for we do not want to know about your ways.

15 ௧௫ சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனை நாம் ஆராதிக்க அவர் யார்? அவரை நோக்கி ஜெபம் செய்வதினால் நமக்கு பலன் என்ன என்கிறார்கள்.

What is Shaddai, that we should serve him? What profit should we have, if we pray to him?'

16 ௧௬ ஆனாலும் அவர்கள் வாழ்வு அவர்கள் கையிலிருக்காது; துன்மார்க்கரின் ஆலோசனை எனக்குத் தூரமாயிருப்பதாக.

Look, their prosperity is not in their hand. The counsel of the wicked is far from me.

17 ௧௭ எத்தனை வேகமாக துன்மார்க்கரின் விளக்கு அணைந்துபோகும்; அவர் தமது கோபத்தினால் வேதனைகளைப் பகிர்ந்துகொடுக்கும்போது, அவர்கள் ஆபத்து அவர்கள்மேல் வரும்.

"How often is it that the lamp of the wicked is put out, that their calamity comes on them, that he distributes sorrows in his anger?

18 ௧௮ அவர்கள் காற்றின் திசையிலிருக்கிற துரும்பைப்போலவும், பெருங்காற்று பறக்கடிக்கிற பதரைப்போலவும் இருக்கிறார்கள்.

How often is it that they are as stubble before the wind, as chaff that the storm carries away?

19 ௧௯ தேவன் அவனுடைய அக்கிரமத்தை அவனுடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்கு வைத்து வைக்கிறார்; அவன் உணர்வடையும்விதத்தில் அதை அவனுக்குப் பலிக்கச் செய்கிறார்.

You say, 'God lays up his iniquity for his children.' Let him recompense it to himself, that he may know it.

20 ௨0 அவனுடைய அழிவை அவனுடைய கண்கள் காணும், சர்வவல்லமையுள்ள தேவனை கடுங்கோபத்தை குடிப்பான்.

Let his own eyes see his destruction. Let him drink of the wrath of Shaddai.

21 ௨௧ அவனுடைய மாதங்களின் தொகை குறைக்கப்படும்போது, அவனுக்குப் பிறகு அவனுடைய வீட்டைப்பற்றி அவனுக்கு இருக்கும் விருப்பமென்ன?

For what does he care for his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off?

22 ௨௨ உயர்ந்தோரை நியாயந்தீர்க்கிற தேவனுக்கு அறிவை உணர்த்த யாராலாகும்?

"Shall any teach God knowledge, seeing he judges those who are high?

23 ௨௩ ஒருவன் நிர்வாகத்துடனும் சுகத்துடனும் வாழ்ந்து குறையற்ற பெலனுள்ளவனாய் இறக்கிறான்.

One dies in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet.

24 ௨௪ அவனுடைய உடல் கொழுப்பால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது, அவனுடைய எலும்புகளில் ஊன் உறுதியாயிருக்கிறது.

His pails are full of milk. The marrow of his bones is moistened.

25 ௨௫ வேறொருவன் ஒரு நாளாவது சந்தோஷத்துடன் சாப்பிடாமல், மனவேதனையுடன் இறக்கிறான்.

Another dies in bitterness of soul, and never tastes of good.

26 ௨௬ இருவரும் சமமாக மண்ணிலே படுத்துக்கொள்ளுகிறார்கள்; புழுக்கள் அவர்களை மூடும்.

They lie down alike in the dust. The worm covers them.

27 ௨௭ இதோ, நான் உங்கள் நினைவுகளையும், நீங்கள் என்னைப்பற்றி அநியாயமாகக் கொண்டிருக்கும் ஆலோசனைகளையும் அறிவேன்.

"Look, I know your thoughts, the devices with which you would wrong me.

28 ௨௮ பிரபுவின் வீடு எங்கே? துன்மார்க்கருடைய கூடாரம் எங்கே? என்று சொல்லுகிறீர்கள்.

For you say, 'Where is the house of the prince? Where is the tent in which the wicked lived?'

29 ௨௯ வழியிலே நடந்து போகிறவர்களை நீங்கள் கேட்கவில்லையா, அவர்கள் சொல்லும் குறிப்புகளை நீங்கள் அறியவில்லையா?

Haven't you asked wayfaring men? Do you not know their evidences,

30 ௩0 துன்மார்க்கன் ஆபத்து நாளுக்காக வைக்கப்படுகிறான்; அவனுடைய கோபாக்கினையின் நாளுக்காக கொண்டுவரப்படுகிறான்.

that the evil man is reserved to the day of calamity, That they are led forth to the day of wrath?

31 ௩௧ அவனுடைய வழியை அவனுடைய முகத்திற்கு முன்பாக எடுத்துக் காட்டுகிறவன் யார்? அவனுடைய செய்கைக்குத் தக்க பலனை அவனுக்கு ஈடுகட்டுகிறவன் யார்?

Who shall declare his way to his face? Who shall repay him what he has done?

32 ௩௨ அவன் கல்லறைக்குக் கொண்டுவரப்படுகிறான்; அவனுடைய கல்லறை காக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்.

Yet he will be borne to the grave. Men shall keep watch over the tomb.

33 ௩௩ பள்ளத்தாக்கின் புழுதி மண்கள் அவனுக்கு இன்பமாயிருக்கும்; அவனுக்கு முன்னாக அனேக மக்கள் போனதுபோல, அவனுக்குப் பின்னாக ஒவ்வொருவரும் அவ்விடத்திற்குச் செல்லுவார்கள்.

The clods of the valley shall be sweet to him. All men shall draw after him, as there were innumerable before him.

34 ௩௪ நீங்கள் வீணாக எனக்கு ஆறுதலை சொல்லுகிறது என்ன? உங்கள் மறுமொழிகளில் முழுவதும் பொய் இருக்கிறது” என்றான்.

So how can you comfort me with nonsense, seeing that in your answers there remains only falsehood?"
