யாத்திராகமம் 17
1 ௧ பின்பு இஸ்ரவேலர்களாகிய சபையார்கள் எல்லோரும் யெகோவாவுடைய கட்டளையின்படி சீன் வனாந்திரத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டு, பயணம்செய்து, ரெவிதீமிலே வந்து முகாமிட்டார்கள்; அங்கே மக்களுக்குக் குடிக்கத் தண்ணீர் இல்லாமல் இருந்தது.
And they set out all [the] congregation of [the] people of Israel from [the] wilderness of Sin to journeyings their on [the] mouth of Yahweh and they encamped at Rephidim and there not [was] water to drink the people.
2 ௨ அப்பொழுது மக்கள் மோசேயோடு வாதாடி: “நாங்கள் குடிக்கிறதற்கு எங்களுக்குத் தண்ணீர் தரவேண்டும்” என்றார்கள். அதற்கு மோசே: “என்னோடு ஏன் வாதாடுகிறீர்கள், யெகோவாவை ஏன் பரீட்சை பார்க்கிறீர்கள்” என்றான்.
And it quarreled the people with Moses and they said give to us water so we may drink and he said to them Moses why? are you quarreling! with me why? are you putting to [the] test! Yahweh.
3 ௩ மக்கள் அந்த இடத்தில் தண்ணீர்த் தாகமாக இருந்தபடியால், அவர்கள் மோசேக்கு விரோதமாக முறுமுறுத்து: “நீர் எங்களையும் எங்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளையும் எங்களுடைய ஆடுமாடுகளையும் தண்ணீர்த் தாகத்தினால் கொன்றுபோட எங்களை எகிப்திலிருந்து ஏன் கொண்டுவந்தீர்” என்றார்கள்.
And it was thirsty there the people for water and it grumbled the people on Moses and it said why? this did you bring up us from Egypt to put to death me and children my and livestock my by thirst.
4 ௪ மோசே யெகோவாவை நோக்கிக் கூப்பிட்டு: “இந்த மக்களுக்கு நான் என்ன செய்வேன், இவர்கள் என்மேல் கல்லெறியப் பார்க்கிறார்களே” என்றான்.
And he cried out Moses to Yahweh saying what? will I do to the people this yet a little and they will stone me.
5 ௫ அப்பொழுது யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி: “நீ இஸ்ரவேல் மூப்பர்களில் சிலரை உன்னோடு கூட்டிக்கொண்டு, நீ நதியை அடித்த உன்னுடைய கோலை உன்னுடைய கையில் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு, மக்களுக்கு முன்னே நடந்துபோ.
And he said Yahweh to Moses pass on before the people and take with you some of [the] elders of Israel and staff your which you struck with it the River take in hand your and you will go.
6 ௬ அங்கே ஓரேபிலே நான் உனக்கு முன்பாகக் கன்மலையின்மேல் நிற்பேன்; நீ அந்தக் கன்மலையை அடி; அப்பொழுது மக்கள் குடிக்க அதிலிருந்து தண்ணீர் புறப்படும்” என்றார்; அப்படியே மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மூப்பர்களின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகச் செய்தான்.
Here I [will be] standing before you there - on the rock at Horeb and you will strike the rock and they will come out from it waters and it will drink the people and he did so Moses to [the] eyes of [the] elders of Israel.
7 ௭ இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் வாதாடினதற்காகவும், “யெகோவா எங்களுடைய நடுவில் இருக்கிறாரா இல்லையா” என்று அவர்கள் யெகோவாவை சோதித்துப் பார்த்ததினாலும், அவன் அந்த இடத்திற்கு மாசா என்றும், மேரிபா என்றும் பெயரிட்டான்.
And he called [the] name of the place Massah and Meribah on [the] quarrel of - [the] people of Israel and because put to [the] test they Yahweh saying ¿ [is] there Yahweh in midst our or? not.
And it came Amalek and it joined battle with Israel at Rephidim.
9 ௯ அப்பொழுது மோசே யோசுவாவை நோக்கி: “நீ நமக்காக மனிதர்களைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, புறப்பட்டு, அமலேக்கியர்களோடு யுத்தம்செய்; நாளைக்கு நான் மலைமேல் தேவனுடைய கோலை என்னுடைய கையில் பிடித்துக்கொண்டு நிற்பேன்” என்றான்.
And he said Moses to Joshua choose for us men and go out fight against Amalek tomorrow I [will be] standing on [the] top of the hill and [the] staff of God [will be] in hand my.
10 ௧0 யோசுவா தனக்கு மோசே சொன்னபடியே செய்து, அமலேக்கியர்களோடு யுத்தம்செய்தான். மோசேயும், ஆரோனும், ஊர் என்பவனும் மலைமேல் ஏறினார்கள்.
And he did Joshua just as he had said to him Moses by fighting against Amalek and Moses Aaron and Hur they went up [the] top of the hill.
11 ௧௧ மோசே தன்னுடைய கையை மேலே பிடித்திருக்கும்போது, இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் வெற்றிபெற்றார்கள்; அவன் தன்னுடைய கையைகீழே விடும்போது, அமலேக்கு வெற்றிபெற்றான்.
And it was just when he lifted up Moses hand his and it prevailed Israel and just when he gave rest hand his and it prevailed Amalek.
12 ௧௨ மோசேயின் கைகள் சோர்ந்துபோனது, அப்பொழுது அவர்கள் ஒரு கல்லைக் கொண்டுவந்து அவன் கீழே வைத்தார்கள்; அதின்மேல் உட்கார்ந்தான்; ஆரோனும், ஊரும் ஒருவன் ஒரு பக்கத்திலும் ஒருவன் மறுபக்கத்திலும் இருந்து, அவனுடைய கைகளைத் தாங்கினார்கள்; இந்த விதமாக அவனுடைய கைகள் சூரியன் மறையும்வரையும் ஒரே நிலையாக இருந்தது.
And [the] hands of Moses [were] heavy and they took a stone and they put [it] under him and he sat on it and Aaron and Hur they supported hands his from this one and from this one and it was hands his [were] steadiness until went the sun.
And he defeated Joshua Amalek and people its to [the] mouth of [the] sword.
14 ௧௪ பின்பு யெகோவா மோசேயை நோக்கி: “இதை நினைவுகூரும்படி, நீ ஒரு புத்தகத்தில் எழுதி, யோசுவாவின் காதிலே கேட்கும்படி வாசி. அமலேக்கை வானத்தின் கீழே எங்கும் இல்லாதபடி நாசம் செய்வேன்” என்றார்.
And he said Yahweh to Moses write this reminder in the book and put [it] in [the] ears of Joshua for certainly I will wipe out [the] remembrance of Amalek from under the heavens.
And he built Moses an altar and he called name its Yahweh - [is] standard my.
16 ௧௬ “அமலேக்கின் கை யெகோவாவுடைய சிங்காசனத்திற்கு விரோதமாக இருந்தபடியால், தலைமுறை தலைமுறைதோறும் அவனுக்கு விரோதமாக யெகோவாவின் யுத்தம் நடக்கும்” என்றான்.
And he said that a hand on [the] throne of Yahweh war [will belong] to Yahweh with Amalek from generation generation.
