யாத்திராகமம் 12
And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,
This month [shall be] to you the beginning of months: it is the first to you amongst the months of the year.
3 ௩ நீங்கள் இஸ்ரவேல் சபையார்கள் எல்லோரையும் நோக்கி: இந்த மாதம் பத்தாம் தேதியில் வீட்டுத்தலைவர்கள், வீட்டுக்கு ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியாக, ஒவ்வொருவரும் ஒவ்வொரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளட்டும்.
Speak to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, On the tenth of this month let them take each man a lamb according to the houses of their families, every man a lamb for his household.
4 ௪ ஒரு வீட்டில் இருக்கிறவர்கள் ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைப் சாப்பிடுவதற்குப் போதுமானவர்களாக இல்லாமற்போனால், அவனும் அவன் அருகிலிருக்கிற அவனுடைய அயல்வீட்டுக்காரனும், தங்களிடத்திலுள்ள நபர்களின் எண்ணிக்கைக்குத்தக்கதாக ஒரு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும்; அவனவன் சாப்பிடத்தக்கதாக எண்ணிக்கைபார்த்து, ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளவேண்டும்.
And if they be few in a household, so that there are not enough for the lamb, he shall take with himself his neighbour that lives near to him, —as to the number of souls, every one according to that which suffices him shall make a reckoning for the lamb.
5 ௫ அந்த ஆட்டுக்குட்டி பழுதற்றதும் ஆணும் ஒரு வயதுடையதுமாக இருக்கவேண்டும்; செம்மறியாடுகளிலோ வெள்ளாடுகளிலோ அதைத் தெரிந்துகொள்ளலாம்.
It shall be to you a lamb unblemished, a male of a year old: you shall take it of the lambs and the kids.
6 ௬ அதை இந்த மாதம் பதினான்காம்தேதிவரையும் வைத்திருந்து, இஸ்ரவேல் சபையின் ஒவ்வொரு கூட்டத்தார்களும் மாலையில் அதை அடித்து,
And it shall be kept by you till the fourteenth of this month, and all the multitude of the congregation of the children of Israel shall kill it towards evening.
7 ௭ அதின் இரத்தத்தில் கொஞ்சம் எடுத்து, தாங்கள் அதைச் சாப்பிடும் வீட்டுவாசல் நிலைக்கால்கள் இரண்டிலும் நிலையின் மேற்சட்டத்திலும் தெளித்து,
And they shall take of the blood, and shall put it on the two door-posts, and on the lintel, in the houses in which soever they shall eat them.
8 ௮ அன்று இரவிலே அதின் இறைச்சியை நெருப்பினால் சுட்டு, புளிப்பில்லா அப்பத்தோடும் கசப்பான கீரையோடும் அதைச் சாப்பிடட்டும்.
And they shall eat the flesh in this night roast with fire, and they shall eat unleavened [bread] with bitter herbs.
9 ௯ பச்சையாயும் தண்ணீரில் அவிக்கப்பட்டதாயும் அல்ல; அதின் தலையையும் அதின் தொடைகளையும் அதற்குள்ள எல்லாவற்றையும் ஒன்றாக நெருப்பினால் சுட்டதாக அதைச் சாப்பிடுங்கள்.
You shall not eat of it raw nor sodden in water, but only roast with fire, the head with the feet and the appurtenances.
10 ௧0 அதிலே ஒன்றையும் காலைவரை மீதியாக வைக்காமல், காலைவரை அதிலே மீதியாக இருப்பதை அக்கினியால் சுட்டெரியுங்கள்.
Nothing shall be left of it till the morning, and a bone of it you shall not break; but that which is left of it till the morning you shall burn with fire.
11 ௧௧ அதைச் சாப்பிடவேண்டிய முறையாவது, நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய இடுப்பில் கச்சையைக் கட்டிக்கொண்டும், உங்களுடைய கால்களில் காலணியை அணிந்துகொண்டும், உங்களுடைய கையில் தடியைப் பிடித்துக்கொண்டும் அதை விரைவாக சாப்பிடுங்கள்; அது யெகோவாவுடைய பஸ்கா.
And thus shall you eat it: your loins girded, and your sandals on your feet, and your staves in your hands, and you shall eat it in haste. It is a passover to the Lord.
12 ௧௨ அந்த இரவிலே நான் எகிப்து தேசம் எங்கும் கடந்துபோய், எகிப்து தேசத்திலுள்ள மனிதர்கள்முதல் மிருகஜீவன்கள்வரை, முதலில் பிறந்திருக்கிறவைகளையெல்லாம் நாசம்செய்து, எகிப்து தெய்வங்களின்மேல் நீதியைச் செலுத்துவேன்; நானே யெகோவா.
and I will go throughout the land of Egypt in that night, and will strike every firstborn in the land of Egypt both man and beast, and on all the gods of Egypt will I execute vengeance: I [am] the Lord.
13 ௧௩ நீங்கள் இருக்கும் வீடுகளில் அந்த இரத்தம் உங்களுக்காக அடையாளமாக இருக்கும்; அந்த இரத்தத்தை நான் கண்டு, உங்களைக் கடந்துபோவேன்; நான் எகிப்து தேசத்தை அழிக்கும்போது, அழிக்கும் வாதை உங்களுக்குள்ளே வராமல் இருக்கும்.
And the blood shall be for a sign to you on the houses in which you are, and I will see the blood, and will protect you, and there shall not be on you the plague of destruction, when I strike in the land of Egypt.
14 ௧௪ அந்த நாள் உங்களுக்கு நினைவுகூருதலான நாளாக இருக்கட்டும்; அதைக் யெகோவாவுக்குப் பண்டிகையாக அனுசரியுங்கள்; அதை உங்களுடைய தலைமுறைதோறும் நிரந்தர கட்டளையாக அனுசரிக்கவேண்டும்.
And this day shall be to you a memorial, and you shall keep it a feast to the Lord through all your generations; you shall keep it a feast for a perpetual ordinance.
15 ௧௫ புளிப்பில்லா அப்பத்தை ஏழுநாட்கள்வரை சாப்பிடுவீர்களாக; முதலாம் நாளிலே புளித்தமாவை உங்கள் வீடுகளிலிருந்து நீக்கவேண்டும்; முதலாம்நாள்துவங்கி ஏழாம் நாள்வரையும் புளித்த அப்பம் சாப்பிடுகிறவன் எவனோ அவன் இஸ்ரவேலர்களிலிருந்து துண்டிக்கப்படுவான்.
Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and from the first day you shall utterly remove leaven from your houses: whoever shall eat leaven, that soul shall be utterly destroyed from Israel, from the first day until the seventh day.
16 ௧௬ முதலாம் நாளில் பரிசுத்த சபைகூடுதலும், ஏழாம் நாளிலும் பரிசுத்த சபைகூடுதலும் இருக்கவேண்டும்; அவைகளில் ஒரு வேலையும் செய்யக்கூடாது; அவரவர் சாப்பிடுவதற்குத் தேவையானதுமட்டும் உங்களால் செய்யப்படலாம்.
And the first day shall be called holy, and the seventh day shall be a holy convocation to you: you shall do no servile work on them, only as many things as will [necessarily] be done by every soul, this only shall be done by you.
17 ௧௭ புளிப்பில்லா அப்பப்பண்டிகையை அனுசரியுங்கள்; இந்த நாளில்தான் நான் உங்களுடைய சேனைகளை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படச்செய்தேன்; ஆகையால், உங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் நிரந்தரக் கட்டளையாக இந்த நாளை அனுசரிக்கவேண்டும்.
And you shall keep this commandment, for on this day will I bring out your force out of the land of Egypt; and you shall make this day a perpetual ordinance for you throughout your generations.
18 ௧௮ முதலாம் மாதம் பதினான்காம் தேதி சாயங்காலந்தொடங்கி மாதத்தின் இருபத்தோராம் தேதி சாயங்காலம்வரைக்கும் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பம் சாப்பிடுவீர்களாக.
Beginning the fourteenth day of the first month, you shall eat unleavened bread from evening, till the twenty-first day of the month, till evening.
19 ௧௯ ஏழுநாட்கள்வரை உங்களுடைய வீடுகளில் புளித்தமாவு காணப்படக்கூடாது; எவனாவது புளிப்பிடப்பட்டதைச் சாப்பிட்டால், அவன் அந்நியனானாலும் சொந்த தேசப் பிறப்பானாலும், அந்த ஆத்துமா இஸ்ரவேல் சபையில் இல்லாமல் துண்டிக்கப்படுவான்.
Seven days leaven shall not be found in your houses; whoever shall eat anything leavened, that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, both amongst the occupiers of the land and the original inhabitants.
20 ௨0 புளிப்பிடப்பட்ட எதையும் நீங்கள் சாப்பிடவேண்டாம்; நீங்கள் தங்குமிடங்களிலெல்லாம் புளிப்பில்லா அப்பம் சாப்பிடுங்கள் என்று சொல்” என்றார்.
You shall eat nothing leavened, but in every habitation of your you shall eat unleavened bread.
21 ௨௧ அப்பொழுது மோசே இஸ்ரவேல் மூப்பர்கள் எல்லோரையும் அழைத்து: “நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய குடும்பங்களுக்குத் தகுந்தபடி உங்களுக்கு ஆட்டுக்குட்டியைத் தெரிந்தெடுத்துக்கொண்டு, பஸ்காவை அடித்து,
And Moses called all the elders of the children of Israel, and said to them, Go away and take to yourselves a lamb according to your kindred, and kill the passover.
22 ௨௨ ஈசோப்புக் கொழுந்துகளின் கொத்தை எடுத்து கிண்ணத்தில் இருக்கும் இரத்தத்தில் தோய்த்து, அதில் இருக்கும் அந்த இரத்தத்தை வாசல் நிலைக்கால்களின் மேற்சட்டத்திலும் வாசலின் நிலைக்கால்கள் இரண்டிலும் தெளியுங்கள்; அதிகாலைவரைக்கும் உங்களில் ஒருவரும் வீட்டு வாசலைவிட்டுப் புறப்படவேண்டாம்.
And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and having dipped it into some of the blood that is by the door, you shall touch the lintel, and [shall put it] upon both door-posts, even of the blood which is by the door; but you shall not go out every one from the door of his house till the morning.
23 ௨௩ யெகோவா எகிப்தியர்களை நாசம் செய்வதற்குக் கடந்துவருவார்; நிலையின் மேற்சட்டத்திலும் வாசலின் நிலைக்கால்கள் இரண்டிலும் அந்த இரத்தத்தைக் காணும்போது, யெகோவா அழிக்கிறவனை உங்களுடைய வீடுகளில் உங்களை நாசம் செய்வதற்கு வரவிடாமல், வாசற்படியிலிருந்து விலகிக் கடந்துபோவார்.
And the Lord shall pass by to strike the Egyptians, and shall see the blood upon the lintel, and upon both the door-posts; and the Lord shall pass by the door, and shall not suffer the destroyer to enter into your houses to strike [you].
And keep you this thing as an ordinance for yourself and for your children for ever.
25 ௨௫ யெகோவா உங்களுக்குத் தாம் சொன்னபடி கொடுக்கப்போகிற தேசத்திலே நீங்கள் போய்ச் சேரும்போது, இந்த ஆராதனையைக் கைக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.
And if you should enter into the land, which the Lord shall give you, as he has spoken, keep this service.
And it shall come to pass, if your sons say to you, What is this service?
27 ௨௭ இது யெகோவாவுடைய பஸ்காவாகிய பலி; அவர் எகிப்தியர்களை நாசம் செய்து, நம்முடைய வீடுகளைத் தப்பிக்கச்செய்தபோது, எகிப்திலிருந்த இஸ்ரவேலர்களுடைய வீடுகளைக் கடந்துபோனார் என்று நீங்கள் சொல்லவேண்டும்” என்றான். அப்பொழுது மக்கள் தலைவணங்கிப் பணிந்துகொண்டார்கள்.
that you shall say to them, This passover is a sacrifice to the Lord, as he defended the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians, but delivered our houses.
28 ௨௮ இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் போய் அப்படியே செய்தார்கள்; யெகோவா மோசேக்கும் ஆரோனுக்கும் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்தார்கள்.
And the people bowed and worshipped. And the children of Israel departed and did as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.
29 ௨௯ நடுஇரவிலே சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் அமர்ந்திருக்கும் பார்வோனுடைய தலைப்பிள்ளைமுதல் காவல் கிடங்கிலிருக்கும் சிறைப்பட்டவனின் தலைப்பிள்ளைவரைக்கும், எகிப்து தேசத்தில் இருந்த முதற்பேறனைத்தையும், மிருகஜீவன்களின் தலையீற்றனைத்தையும் யெகோவா அழித்தார்.
And it came to pass at midnight that the Lord struck all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharao that sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the captive-maid in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all cattle.
30 ௩0 அப்பொழுது பார்வோனும் அவனுடைய எல்லா ஊழியக்காரர்களும் எகிப்தியர்கள் அனைவரும் இரவிலே எழுந்தார்கள்; கொடிய கூக்குரல் எகிப்திலே உண்டானது; சாவு இல்லாத ஒரு வீடும் இல்லை.
And Pharao rose up by night, and his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in all the land of Egypt, for there was not a house in which there was not one dead.
31 ௩௧ இரவிலே அவன் மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் அழைத்து: “நீங்களும் இஸ்ரவேலர்களும் எழுந்து, என்னுடைய மக்களைவிட்டுப் புறப்பட்டுப் போய், நீங்கள் சொன்னபடியே யெகோவாவுக்கு ஆராதனை செய்யுங்கள்.
And Pharao called Moses and Aaron by night, and said to them, Rise and depart from my people, both you and the children of Israel. Go and serve the Lord your God, even as you say.
32 ௩௨ நீங்கள் சொன்னபடியே உங்களுடைய ஆடுமாடுகளையும் ஓட்டிக்கொண்டுபோங்கள்; என்னையும் ஆசீர்வதியுங்கள்” என்றான்.
And take with you your sheep, and your oxen: bless me also, I pray you.
33 ௩௩ எகிப்தியர்கள்: “நாங்கள் எல்லோரும் சாகிறோமே” என்று சொல்லி, விரைவாக அந்த மக்களைத் தேசத்திலிருந்து அனுப்பிவிட அவர்களை மிகவும் அவசரப்படுத்தினார்கள்.
And the Egyptians constrained the people, so that they cast them out of the land with haste, for they said, We all shall die.
34 ௩௪ பிசைந்தமாவு புளிப்பதற்குமுன்பு மக்கள் அதைப் பாத்திரத்துடன் தங்களுடைய ஆடைகளில் கட்டி, தங்களுடைய தோள்மேல் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு போனார்கள்.
And the people took their dough before their meal was leavened, bound up [as it was] in their garments, on their shoulders.
35 ௩௫ மோசே சொல்லியிருந்தபடி இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் எகிப்தியர்களிடம் வெள்ளி நகைகளையும் பொன் நகைகளையும் ஆடைகளையும் கேட்டார்கள்.
And the children of Israel did as Moses commanded them, and they asked of the Egyptians articles of silver and gold and apparel.
36 ௩௬ யெகோவா மக்களுக்கு எகிப்தியர்களின் கண்களில் தயவு கிடைக்கும்படி செய்ததால், கேட்டதை அவர்களுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்; இந்தவிதமாக அவர்கள் எகிப்தியர்களைக் கொள்ளையிட்டார்கள்.
And the Lord gave his people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, and they lent to them; and they spoiled the Egyptians.
37 ௩௭ இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் ராமசேசைவிட்டுக் கால்நடையாகப் பயணம்செய்து, சுக்கோத்திற்குப் போனார்கள்; அவர்கள், பிள்ளைகள் தவிர ஆறுலட்சம் ஆண்களாக இருந்தார்கள்.
And the children Israel departed from Ramesses to Socchoth, to [the full number of] six hundred thousand footmen, even men, besides the baggage.
38 ௩௮ அவர்களுடன் கூடப் பல இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் அல்லாத மக்கள் அநேகர் போனதுமட்டுமல்லால், திரளான ஆடுமாடுகள் முதலான மிருகஜீவன்களும் போனது.
And a great mixed [company] went up with them, and sheep and oxen and very much cattle.
39 ௩௯ எகிப்திலிருந்து அவர்கள் கொண்டுவந்த பிசைந்தமாவைப் புளிப்பில்லாத அப்பங்களாகச் சுட்டார்கள்; அவர்கள் எகிப்தில் இருக்கமுடியாதபடி துரத்திவிடப்பட்டதால், அது புளிக்காமல் இருந்தது; அவர்கள் தங்களுடைய பயணத்திற்கென்று ஒன்றும் ஆயத்தம்செய்யவில்லை.
And they baked the dough which they brought out of Egypt, unleavened cakes, for it had not been leavened; for the Egyptians cast them out, and they could not remain, neither did they prepare provision for themselves for the journey.
And the sojourning of the children of Israel, while they sojourned in the land of Egypt and the land of Chanaan, [was] four hundred and thirty years.
41 ௪௧ நானூற்றுமுப்பது வருடங்கள் முடிந்த அன்றைய நாளே யெகோவாவுடைய சேனைகள் எல்லாம் எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்பட்டது.
And it came to pass after the four hundred and thirty years, all the forces of the Lord came forth out of the land of Egypt by night.
42 ௪௨ யெகோவா அவர்களை எகிப்து தேசத்திலிருந்து புறப்படச்செய்ததால், இது அவருக்கென்று முக்கியமாக அனுசரிக்கத்தக்க இரவானது; இஸ்ரவேல் சந்ததியார் எல்லோரும் தங்கள் தலைமுறைதோறும் யெகோவாவுக்கு முக்கியமாக அனுசரிக்கவேண்டிய இரவு இதுவே.
It is a watch kept to the Lord, so that he should bring them out of the land of Egypt; that very night is a watch kept to the Lord, so that it should be to all the children of Israel to their generations.
43 ௪௩ மேலும், யெகோவா மோசேயையும் ஆரோனையும் நோக்கி: “பஸ்காவின் கட்டளையாவது, அந்நியனில் ஒருவனும் அதை சாப்பிடவேண்டாம்.
And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, This is the law of the passover: no stranger shall eat of it.
44 ௪௪ பணத்தினால் வாங்கப்பட்ட அடிமையானவன் எவனும், நீ அவனுக்கு விருத்தசேதனம் செய்தபின்பு, அவன் அதைச் சாப்பிடலாம்.
And every slave or servant bought with money—him you shall circumcise, and then shall he eat of it.
A sojourner or hireling shall not eat of it.
46 ௪௬ அதை ஒவ்வொரு வீட்டிற்குள்ளும் சாப்பிடவேண்டும்; அந்த இறைச்சியில் கொஞ்சம்கூட வீட்டிலிருந்து வெளியே கொண்டுபோகக்கூடாது; அதில் ஒரு எலும்பையும் முறிக்கக்கூடாது.
In one house shall it be eaten, and you shall not carry of the flesh out from the house; and a bone of it you shall not break.
All the congregation of the children of Israel shall keep it.
48 ௪௮ அந்நியன் ஒருவன் உன்னிடம் தங்கி, யெகோவாவுக்குப் பஸ்காவை அனுசரிக்கவேண்டுமென்று இருந்தால், அவனைச் சேர்ந்த ஆண்பிள்ளைகள் எல்லோரும் விருத்தசேதனம் செய்யப்படவேண்டும்; பின்பு அவன் சேர்ந்து அதை அனுசரிக்கவேண்டும்; அவன் சொந்த தேசத்தில் பிறந்தவனாக இருப்பான்; விருத்தசேதனம் இல்லாத ஒருவரும் அதில் சாப்பிடவேண்டாம்.
And if any proselyte shall come to you to keep the passover to the Lord, you shall circumcise every male of him, and then shall he approach to sacrifice it, and he shall be even as the original inhabitant of the land; no uncircumcised person shall eat of it.
49 ௪௯ சொந்த தேசத்தில் பிறந்தவனுக்கும் உங்களிடத்தில் தங்கும் அந்நியனுக்கும் ஒரே பிரமாணம் இருக்கட்டும்” என்றார்.
There shall be one law to the native, and to the proselyte coming amongst you.
50 ௫0 இப்படியே இஸ்ரவேலர்கள் எல்லோரும் செய்தார்கள்; யெகோவா மோசேக்கும் ஆரோனுக்கும் கட்டளையிட்டபடியே செய்தார்கள்.
And the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses and Aaron for them, so they did.
And it came to pass in that day that the Lord brought out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt with their forces.
