1 கொரிந்தியர் 3

1 ௧ மேலும், சகோதரர்களே, நான் உங்களை ஆவியானவருக்குரியவர்கள் என்று நினைத்து உங்களோடு பேசாமல், மாம்சத்திற்குரியவர்களென்றும், கிறிஸ்துவிற்குள் குழந்தைகளென்றும் நினைத்துப் பேசவேண்டியதாக இருக்கிறது.

And I, brothers, could not speak to you as to spiritual, but as to carnal, even as to babes in Christ.

2 ௨ நீங்கள் பெலன் இல்லாதவர்களானதால், உங்களுக்கு உணவு கொடுக்காமல், பாலைக் குடிக்கக்கொடுத்தேன்; இன்னமும் நீங்கள் சரீரத்திற்குரியவர்களாக இருக்கிறபடியால், இப்பொழுதும் உங்களுக்குப் பெலனில்லை.

I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for till now you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able.

3 ௩ பொறாமையும் வாக்குவாதமும் வேறுபாடுகளும் உங்களுக்குள் இருக்கிறபடியால், நீங்கள் மாம்சத்திற்குரியவர்களாக இருந்து மனித வழிமுறையில் நடக்கிறீர்களல்லவா?

For you are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not carnal, and walk as men?

4 ௪ ஒருவன் நான் பவுலைச் சேர்ந்தவனென்றும், மற்றொருவன் நான் அப்பொல்லோவைச் சேர்ந்தவனென்றும் சொல்லுகிறபடியால் நீங்கள் சரீரத்திற்குரியவர்களல்லவா?

For while one says, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are you not carnal?

5 ௫ பவுல் யார்? அப்பொல்லோ யார்? கர்த்தர் அவனவனுக்கு கிருபை அளித்தபடியே நீங்கள் விசுவாசிக்கிறதற்கு காரணமாக இருந்த ஊழியக்காரர்கள்தானே.

Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom you believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?

6 ௬ நான் நட்டேன், அப்பொல்லோ தண்ணீர்ப் பாய்ச்சினான், தேவனே விளையச்செய்தார்.

I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.

7 ௭ அப்படியிருக்க, நடுகிறவனாலும் ஒன்றுமில்லை, தண்ணீர்ப் பாய்ச்சுகிறவனாலும் ஒன்றுமில்லை, விளையச்செய்கிற தேவனாலே எல்லாம் ஆகும்.

So then neither is he that plants any thing, neither he that waters; but God that gives the increase.

8 ௮ மேலும் நடுகிறவனும் தண்ணீர்ப் பாய்ச்சுகிறவனும் ஒன்றாயிருக்கிறார்கள்; அவனவன் தன்தன் வேலைக்குத் தகுந்தபடி கூலியைப் பெறுவான்.

Now he that plants and he that waters are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.

9 ௯ நாங்கள் தேவனுக்கு உடன்வேலையாட்களாக இருக்கிறோம்; நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய பண்ணையும், தேவனுடைய மாளிகையுமாக இருக்கிறீர்கள்.

For we are laborers together with God: you are God’s husbandry, you are God’s building.

10 ௧0 எனக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட தேவகிருபையின்படியே புத்தியுள்ள சிற்ப ஆசாரியைப்போல அஸ்திபாரம் போட்டேன். வேறொருவன் அதின்மேல் கட்டுகிறான். அவனவன் தான் அதின்மேல் எப்படிக் கட்டுகிறான் என்று கவனமாக இருக்கவேண்டும்.

According to the grace of God which is given to me, as a wise master builder, I have laid the foundation, and another builds thereon. But let every man take heed how he builds thereupon.

11 ௧௧ போடப்பட்டிருக்கிற அஸ்திபாரமாகிய இயேசுகிறிஸ்துவை அல்லாமல் வேறு அஸ்திபாரத்தைப்போட ஒருவனாலும் முடியாது.

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

12 ௧௨ ஒருவன் அந்த அஸ்திபாரத்தின்மேல் பொன், வெள்ளி, விலையேறப்பெற்ற கல், மரம், புல், வைக்கோல் ஆகிய இவைகளைக்கொண்டு கட்டினால்,

Now if any man build on this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

13 ௧௩ அவனவனுடைய வேலைப்பாடு வெளிப்படும்; நியாயத்தீர்ப்பு நாளானது அதை வெளிப்படுத்தும். ஏனென்றால், அது அக்கினியினாலே வெளிப்படுத்தப்படும்; அவனவனுடைய வேலைப்பாடு எத்தன்மையுள்ளது என்று அக்கினியானது பரிசோதிக்கும்.

Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.

14 ௧௪ அதின்மேல் ஒருவன் கட்டினது நிலைத்தால், அவன் கூலியைப் பெறுவான்.

If any man’s work abide which he has built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.

15 ௧௫ ஒருவன் கட்டினது வெந்துபோனால், அவன் நஷ்டமடைவான்; அவனோ இரட்சிக்கப்படுவான்; அதுவும் அக்கினியில் அகப்பட்டுத் தப்பினதுபோல இருக்கும்.

If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

16 ௧௬ நீங்கள் தேவனுடைய ஆலயமாக இருக்கிறீர்களென்றும், தேவனுடைய ஆவியானவர் உங்களில் வாசமாக இருக்கிறாரென்றும் அறியாதிருக்கிறீர்களா?

Know you not that you are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

17 ௧௭ ஒருவன் தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கெடுத்தால், தேவன் அவனைக் கெடுப்பார்; தேவனுடைய ஆலயம் பரிசுத்தமாக இருக்கிறது; நீங்களே அந்த ஆலயம்.

If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.

18 ௧௮ ஒருவனும் தன்னைத்தானே ஏமாற்றாமல் இருக்கட்டும்; இந்த உலகத்திலே உங்களில் ஒருவன் தன்னை ஞானியென்று நினைத்தால் அவன் ஞானியாகும்படிக்குப் பைத்தியக்காரனாகவேண்டும். (aiōn g165)

Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seems to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. (aiōn g165)

19 ௧௯ ஏனெனில், இந்த உலகத்தின் ஞானம் தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகப் பைத்தியமாக இருக்கிறது. அப்படியே, ஞானிகளை அவர்களுடைய தந்திரத்திலே பிடிக்கிறாரென்றும்,

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He takes the wise in their own craftiness.

20 ௨0 ஞானிகளுடைய எண்ணங்கள் வீணாக இருக்கிறதென்று கர்த்தர் அறிந்திருக்கிறாரென்றும் எழுதியிருக்கிறது.

And again, The Lord knows the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

21 ௨௧ இப்படியிருக்க, ஒருவனும் மனிதர்களைக்குறித்து மேன்மைபாராட்டாமலிருப்பானாக; எல்லாம் உங்களுடையதே;

Therefore let no man glory in men. For all things are yours;

22 ௨௨ பவுலானாலும், அப்பொல்லோவானாலும், கேபாவானாலும், உலகமானாலும், ஜீவனானாலும் மரணமானாலும், நிகழ்காரியங்களானாலும், வரும்காரியங்களானாலும், எல்லாம் உங்களுடையது;

Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours;

23 ௨௩ நீங்கள் கிறிஸ்துவினுடையவர்கள்; கிறிஸ்து தேவனுடையவர்.

And you are Christ’s; and Christ is God’s.
