1 ௧ கோத்திரங்களின் தலைவர்களும், ராஜாவுக்கு பணிவிடை செய்கிற வகுப்புகளின் தலைவர்களும், ஆயிரம்பேர்களுக்கு தலைவர்களும், நூறுபேர்களுக்கு தலைவர்களும், ராஜாவுக்கும் ராஜாவின் மகன்களுக்கும் உண்டான எல்லா சொத்தையும் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் விசாரிக்கிற தலைவர்களுமாகிய இஸ்ரவேலின் எல்லா பிரபுக்களையும், முதன்மையானவர்களையும், பெலசாலிகளையும், எல்லா பெலசாலிகளையும் தாவீது எருசலேமிலே கூடிவரச்செய்தான்.
David assembled all the officials of Israel at Jerusalem: the officials of the tribes, the officers of the divisions that served the king in their scheduled work, the commanders of thousands and of hundreds, the managers over all the property and possessions of the king and of his sons, and the officers and fighting men, including the most skilled of them.
2 ௨ அப்பொழுது ராஜாவாகிய தாவீது எழுந்து காலூன்றி நின்று: என்னுடைய சகோதரர்களே, என்னுடைய மக்களே, நான் சொல்வதைக் கேளுங்கள்; யெகோவாவுடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியும் நமது தேவனுடைய பாதப்படியும் தங்குவதற்கு ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்ட நான் என்னுடைய மனதிலே நினைத்து, கட்டுவதற்கு ஆயத்தமும் செய்தேன்.
Then David the king rose to his feet and said, “Listen to me, my brothers and my people. It was my intention to build a temple for the ark of the covenant of Yahweh; a footstool for our God, and I have made preparations to build it.
3 ௩ ஆனாலும் தேவன்: நீ என்னுடைய நாமத்திற்கு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டவேண்டாம்; நீ யுத்த மனிதனாக இருந்து, ரத்தத்தை சிந்தினாய் என்றார்.
But God said to me, 'You will not build a temple for my name, because you are a man of war and have shed blood.'
4 ௪ இப்போதும் இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்தின்மேலும் என்றைக்கும் ராஜாவாக இருக்க, இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய யெகோவா என்னுடைய தகப்பனுடைய வீட்டார்களில் என்னைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டார்; அவர் யூதாவையும் யூதாவின் வம்சத்தில் என்னுடைய தகப்பன் குடும்பத்தையும் தலைமையாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு, என்னை எல்லா இஸ்ரவேலின்மேலும் ராஜாவாக்க, என்னுடைய தகப்பனுடைய மகன்களுக்குள் என்மேல் பிரியம் வைத்தார்.
Yet Yahweh, the God of Israel, chose me from all my father's family to be king over Israel forever. He has chosen the tribe of Judah as leader. In the tribe of Judah, and in my father's household, out of all my father's sons, he chose me to be king over all Israel.
5 ௫ யெகோவா எனக்கு அநேக மகன்களைத் தந்தருளினார்; ஆனாலும் இஸ்ரவேலை ஆளும் யெகோவாவுடைய ராஜ்ஜியபாரத்தின் சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் உட்காருவதற்கு, அவர் என்னுடைய எல்லா மகன்களிலும் என்னுடைய மகனாகிய சாலொமோனைத் தெரிந்துகொண்டு,
From the many sons whom Yahweh has given me, he chose Solomon, my son, to sit on the throne of the kingdom of Yahweh, over Israel.
6 ௬ அவர் என்னை நோக்கி: உன்னுடைய மகனாகிய சாலொமோனே என்னுடைய ஆலயத்தையும் என்னுடைய முற்றங்களையும் கட்டுவானாக; அவனை எனக்கு மகனாகத் தெரிந்துகொண்டேன்; நான் அவனுக்கு பிதாவாயிருப்பேன்.
He said to me, 'Solomon your son will build my house and my courtyards, for I have chosen him to be my son, and I will be his father.
7 ௭ இந்தநாளில் நடக்கிறபடியே அவன் என்னுடைய கற்பனைகளின்படியும் என்னுடைய நியாயங்களின்படியும் செய்ய உறுதியாக இருப்பானானால், அவனுடைய ராஜ்ஜியபாரத்தை என்றென்றைக்கும் உறுதிப்படுத்துவேன் என்றார்.
I will establish his kingdom forever, if he remains committed to obey my commandments and decrees, as you are this day.'
8 ௮ இப்போதும் நீங்கள் என்றென்றைக்கும் இந்த நல்ல தேசத்தைச் சுதந்தரமாக அனுபவித்து, உங்களுக்குப் பிறகு அதை உங்களுடைய பிள்ளைகளுக்குச் சுதந்திரமாக வைக்கும்படி, நீங்கள் உங்களுடைய தேவனாகிய யெகோவாவின் கற்பனைகளையெல்லாம் கைக்கொண்டு விசாரியுங்கள் என்று யெகோவாவின் சபையாகிய இஸ்ரவேல் அனைத்தின் கண்களுக்கு முன்பாகவும், நமது தேவனுடைய செவிகேட்கவும் உங்களுக்குப் புத்திசொல்லுகிறேன்.
Now then, in the sight of all Israel, this assembly for Yahweh, and in the presence of our God, all of you must keep and try to carry out all the commandments of Yahweh your God. Do this so that you may possess this good land and leave it as an inheritance to your children after you forever.
9 ௯ என்னுடைய மகனாகிய சாலொமோனே, நீ உன்னுடைய பிதாவின் தேவனை அறிந்து, அவரை உத்தம இருதயத்தோடும் உற்சாக மனதோடும் பணிந்துகொள்; யெகோவா எல்லா இருதயங்களையும் ஆராய்ந்து, நினைவுகளின் தோற்றங்களையெல்லாம் அறிகிறார்; நீ அவரைத் தேடினால் உனக்குத் தென்படுவார்; நீ அவரை விட்டுவிட்டால் அவர் உன்னை என்றென்றைக்கும் கைவிடுவார்.
As for you, Solomon my son, obey the God of your father, and serve him with your whole heart and a willing spirit. Do this because Yahweh searches all hearts and understands every motivation of everyone's thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you, but if you abandon him, he will reject you permanently.
10 ௧0 இப்போதும் எச்சரிக்கையாக இரு; பரிசுத்த இடமாக ஒரு ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுவதற்காகக் யெகோவா உன்னைத் தெரிந்து கொண்டார்; நீ திடன்கொண்டு அதை நடத்து என்று சொன்னான்.
Realize that Yahweh has chosen you to build this temple as his sanctuary. Be strong and do it.”
11 ௧௧ தாவீது தன்னுடைய மகனாகிய சாலொமோனுக்கு மண்டபமும், அதின் அறைகளும், அதின் பொக்கிஷசாலைகளும், அதின் மேல்வீடுகளும், அதின் உள்ளறைகளும், கிருபாசன இடம் இருக்கவேண்டிய மாதிரியையும்,
Then David gave to Solomon his son the plans for the temple portico, the temple buildings, the storerooms, the upper rooms, the inner rooms, and the room with the atonement lid.
12 ௧௨ ஆவியினால் தனக்குக் கட்டளையிடப்பட்டபடியெல்லாம் அவன் செய்யவேண்டிய யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயமுற்றங்களும், தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்துப் பொக்கிஷங்களையும், பரிசுத்தமாக நேர்ந்துகொள்ளப்பட்டவைகளின் பொக்கிஷங்களையும் வைக்கும் சகல சுற்றறைகளும் இருக்கவேண்டிய மாதிரியையும்,
He gave him the plans he had drawn for the courtyards of Yahweh's house, all the surrounding rooms, the storerooms in God's house, and the treasuries for the things that belong to Yahweh.
13 ௧௩ ஆசாரியர்களையும் லேவியர்களையும் வரிசைகளாக பிரிப்பதற்கும், யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலய பணிவிடைவேலை அனைத்திற்கும், யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்து வேலையின் பணிபொருட்கள் அனைத்திற்குமுரிய கட்டளையையும் கொடுத்தான்.
He gave him regulations for the divisions of the priests and Levites, for the assigned responsibilities for the service of the house of Yahweh, and for all the objects for the service in Yahweh's house.
14 ௧௪ அவன் பற்பல வேலைக்கு வேண்டிய எல்லாப் பொற்பாத்திரங்களுக்காக எடையின்படி பொன்னையும், பற்பல வேலைக்கு வேண்டிய எல்லா வெள்ளிப்பாத்திரங்களுக்காக எடையின்படி வெள்ளியையும்,
He determined the weight of all the gold vessels for each service, the weight of silver vessels for each service,
15 ௧௫ பொன் விளக்குத்தண்டுகளுக்கும் அவைகளின் பொன் விளக்குகளுக்கும், ஒவ்வொரு விளக்குத்தண்டுக்கும் அதின் விளக்குகளுக்கும் எடையின்படி வேண்டிய பொன்னையும், வெள்ளி விளக்குத்தண்டுகளிள் ஒவ்வொரு விளக்குத்தண்டுக்கும் அதின் விளக்குகளுக்கும் எடையின்படி வேண்டிய வெள்ளியையும்,
the weight of the gold for all the gold articles, to be lampstands and gold lamps, the weight of gold for each lampstand, the weight of silver for each silver lampstand, according to the use of each lampstand in the service.
16 ௧௬ சமூகத்து அப்பங்களை வைக்கும் ஒவ்வொரு மேஜைக்கும் எடையின்படி வேண்டிய பொன்னையும், வெள்ளி மேஜைகளுக்கு வேண்டிய வெள்ளியையும்,
He gave the weight of the gold for the tables of the bread of the presence, for every table, and the weight of the silver for the silver tables.
17 ௧௭ முள்குறடுகளுக்கும் கலங்களுக்கும் தட்டுகளுக்கும் வேண்டிய பசும்பொன்னையும், பொன் கிண்ணங்களில் ஒவ்வொரு கிண்ணத்திற்கும் எடையின்படி வேண்டியதையும், வெள்ளிக் கிண்ணங்களில் ஒவ்வொரு கிண்ணத்திற்கும் எடையின்படி வேண்டியதையும்,
He gave the weight of pure gold for the meat forks, basins, and cups. He gave the weight for each of the gold bowls, and the weight of each of the silver bowls.
18 ௧௮ தூபங்காட்டும் பீடத்திற்கு எடையின்படி வேண்டிய புடமிடப்பட்ட பொன்னையும் கொடுத்து, இறக்கைகளை விரித்துக் யெகோவாவுடைய உடன்படிக்கைப் பெட்டியை மூடும் பொன் கேருபீன்களான வாகனத்தின் மாதிரியையும் கொடுத்து,
He gave the weight of refined gold for the incense altar, and of the gold for the design of the cherubim that spread out their wings and covered the ark of the covenant of Yahweh.
19 ௧௯ இந்த மாதிரியின்படி எல்லா வேலைகளும் எனக்குத் தெரியப்படுத்த, இவையெல்லாம் யெகோவாவுடைய கரத்தினால் எனக்கு எழுதிக்கொடுக்கப்பட்டது என்றான்.
David said, “I have put all this in writing as Yahweh directed me and gave me to understand regarding the design.”
20 ௨0 தாவீது தன்னுடைய மகனாகிய சாலொமோனை நோக்கி: நீ பலங்கொண்டு தைரியமாக இருந்து, இதை நடத்து: நீ பயப்படாமலும் கலங்காமலும் இரு; தேவனாகிய யெகோவா என்னும் என்னுடைய தேவன் உன்னோடு இருப்பார்; யெகோவாவுடைய ஆலயத்தைக் கட்டுவதின் எல்லா செய்கைகளையும் நீ முடிக்கும்வரை, அவர் உன்னைவிட்டு விலகவுமாட்டார், உன்னைக் கைவிடவுமாட்டார்.
David said to Solomon his son, “Be strong and brave. Do the work. Do not be afraid or anxious, for Yahweh God, my God, is with you. He will not leave you nor abandon you until all the work for the service of Yahweh's temple is finished.
21 ௨௧ இதோ, தேவனுடைய ஆலயத்து வேலைக்கெல்லாம் ஆசாரியர்கள் லேவியர்களுடைய வகுப்புகள் இருக்கிறது; அந்த எல்லா செய்கைக்கும் சகலவித வேலையிலும் திறமையுள்ளவர்களான மனப்பூர்வமுள்ள சகல மனிதர்களும், உன்னுடைய சொற்படியெல்லாம் கேட்கும் பிரபுக்களும், எல்லா மக்களும் உன்னிடத்தில் இருக்கிறார்கள் என்றான்.
See, here are the divisions of the priests and Levites for all the service in God's temple. They will be with you, together with all willing and skillful men, to assist you in the work and to perform the service. The officials and all the people are ready to follow your commands.”
