சங்கீதம் 119
1 குற்றமற்றவர்களாய் வாழ்ந்து, யெகோவாவினுடைய சட்டத்தின்படி நடப்பவர்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்.
Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
2 அவருடைய நியமங்களைக் கைக்கொண்டு, தங்கள் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் அவரைத் தேடுகிறவர்கள் ஆசீர்வதிக்கப்பட்டவர்கள்.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
3 அவர்கள் தவறு செய்யாமல் அவருடைய வழிகளில் நடக்கிறார்கள்.
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
4 நாங்கள் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளுக்கு முற்றிலும் கீழ்ப்படிய வேண்டுமென்றே நீர் அவைகளைக் கொடுத்தீர்.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
5 ஐயோ, உமது விதிமுறைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்படி, என் வழிகள் உறுதியாய் இருந்திருந்தால் நலமாயிருக்கும்.
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
6 உமது கட்டளைகளையெல்லாம் நான் கவனத்தில் கொள்ளும்போது, நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகமாட்டேன்.
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect to all thy commandments.
7 உமது நீதியான சட்டங்களை நான் கற்றுக்கொள்ளும்போது, நேர்மையான இருதயத்தோடு உம்மைத் துதிப்பேன்.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
8 நான் உமது விதிமுறைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்; என்னை முற்றிலும் கைவிடாதேயும்.
I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
9 வாலிபர் தன் நடத்தையை எப்படி சுத்தமாய்க் காத்துக்கொள்ள முடியும்? உமது வார்த்தையின்படி வாழ்வதினால்தானே.
How shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed to it according to thy word.
10 நான் முழு இருதயத்தோடு உம்மைத் தேடுகிறேன்; உமது கட்டளைகளில் இருந்து என்னை வழிவிலகிப் போகவிடாதேயும்.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
11 நான் உமக்கு எதிராய் பாவம் செய்யாதிருக்கும்படி, உமது வார்த்தையை என் இருதயத்தில் மறைத்து வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
Thy word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against thee.
12 யெகோவாவே, உமக்கே துதி உண்டாகட்டும்; உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
Blessed art thou, O LORD: teach me thy statutes.
13 உமது வாயிலிருந்து வரும் சட்டங்கள் எல்லாவற்றையும் என் உதடுகளால் விவரித்துச் சொல்கிறேன்.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
14 ஒருவன் பெரும் செல்வத்தில் மகிழ்வதுபோல், நான் உமது நியமங்களைப் பின்பற்றுவதில் மகிழ்கிறேன்.
I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
15 நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைத் தியானித்து, உமது வழிகளை ஆழ்ந்து சிந்திக்கிறேன்.
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect to thy ways.
16 நான் உமது விதிமுறைகளில் மகிழ்கிறேன்; உமது வார்த்தையை உதாசீனம் செய்யமாட்டேன்.
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
17 உமது அடியேனுக்கு நன்மை செய்யும்; அப்பொழுது நான் வாழ்வடைந்து உமது வார்த்தைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்.
Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.
18 உமது சட்டத்திலுள்ள அதிசயமான காரியங்களை நான் காணும்படி, என் கண்களைத் திறந்தருளும்.
Open thou my eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law.
19 பூமியிலே நான் வேறுநாட்டைச் சேர்ந்தவனாய் இருக்கிறேன்; உமது கட்டளைகளை எனக்கு மறைக்காதேயும்.
I am a stranger in the earth: hide not thy commandments from me.
20 உமது சட்டங்களின்மேல் உள்ள வாஞ்சையினால், என் ஆத்துமா எப்பொழுதும் பற்றியெரிகிறது.
My soul breaketh for the longing that it hath to thy judgments at all times.
21 அகங்காரமுள்ள சபிக்கப்பட்டவர்களை நீர் கடிந்துகொள்கிறீர்; அவர்கள் உமது கட்டளைகளிலிருந்து விலகிப்போகிறவர்கள்.
Thou hast rebuked the proud that are cursed, who do err from thy commandments.
22 நான் உமது நியமங்களைக் கைக்கொள்வதினால், பிறரின் ஏளனத்தையும், அவமதிப்பையும் என்னிலிருந்து விலக்கும்.
Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept thy testimonies.
23 ஆளுநர்கள் ஒன்றாய் அமர்ந்து எனக்கெதிராய் அவதூறு பேசினாலும், உமது அடியேன் உமது விதிமுறைகளையே தியானிப்பேன்.
Princes also did sit and speak against me: but thy servant did meditate in thy statutes.
24 உமது நியமங்கள் என் மகிழ்ச்சியாயிருக்கின்றன; அவைகளே எனக்கு ஞானமுள்ள ஆலோசனையைத் தருகின்றன.
Thy testimonies also are my delight and my counsellors.
25 நான் தூசியில் வீழ்ந்து கிடக்கிறேன்; உமது வார்த்தையின்படி என் வாழ்வைப் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
My soul cleaveth to the dust: revive thou me according to thy word.
26 நான் என் வாழ்வின் வழிகளை உமக்கு விவரித்துச் சொன்னேன், நீர் எனக்குப் பதிலளித்தீர்; உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
I have declared my ways, and thou heardest me: teach me thy statutes.
27 உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளின் அர்த்தத்தை எனக்கு விளங்கச்செய்யும்; அப்பொழுது நான் உம்முடைய அற்புதமான போதனைகளைத் தியானிப்பேன்.
Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works.
28 என் ஆத்துமா துயரத்தால் இளைத்துப் போயிருக்கிறது; உமது வார்த்தையின்படி என்னைப் பெலப்படுத்தும்.
My soul melteth for heaviness: strengthen thou me according to thy word.
29 என்னை ஏமாற்றும் வழிகளிலிருந்து காத்துக்கொள்ளும்; என்னில் கிருபையாயிருந்து, உமது சட்டத்தை எனக்குக் கற்றுத்தாரும்.
Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.
30 மெய்வழியை நான் தேர்ந்தெடுத்தேன்; நான் உமது சட்டங்களின்படி வாழத் தீர்மானித்திருக்கிறேன்.
I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.
31 யெகோவாவே, உமது நியமங்களை நான் இறுகப் பற்றிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறேன்; என்னை வெட்கப்பட விடாதேயும்.
I have cleaved to thy testimonies: O LORD, put me not to shame.
32 நீர் என் புரிந்துகொள்ளுதலை விரிவாக்கியிருக்கிறதினால், உமது கட்டளைகளின் பாதையிலேயே நான் ஓடுவேன்.
I will run the way of thy commandments, when thou shalt enlarge my heart.
33 யெகோவாவே, உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்; அப்பொழுது நான் அவைகளைக் கடைசிமட்டும் கைக்கொள்வேன்.
Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it to the end.
34 விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும் ஆற்றலை எனக்குத் தாரும்; அதினால் நான் உமது சட்டத்தைக் கைக்கொள்வேன். என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் அதற்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்.
Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.
35 உமது கட்டளைகளின் பாதையில் என்னை நடத்தும்; ஏனெனில் அதில் நான் மகிழ்ச்சியைக் காண்கிறேன்.
Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for in that do I delight.
36 என் இருதயத்தைச் சுயலாபத்தின் பக்கம் சாயவிடாமல், உமது நியமங்களின் பக்கமாய்த் திருப்பும்.
Incline my heart to thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.
37 பயனற்ற காரியங்களிலிருந்து என் கண்களைத் திருப்பும்; உமது வார்த்தையின்படியே என் வாழ்வைப் பாதுகாத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity; and revive thou me in thy way.
38 உமக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கும்படி நீர் கொடுத்த வாக்குத்தத்தத்தை உமது அடியேனாகிய எனக்கு நிறைவேற்றும்.
Establish thy word to thy servant, who is devoted to thy fear.
39 நான் பயப்படுகின்ற அவமானத்தை என்னைவிட்டு அகற்றும்; ஏனெனில், உமது சட்டங்கள் நல்லவை.
Turn away my reproach which I fear: for thy judgments are good.
40 நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளை எவ்வளவாய் விரும்புகிறேன்! உமது நியாயத்தின்படி என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
Behold, I have longed after thy precepts: revive me in thy righteousness.
41 யெகோவாவே, உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பும், உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி உமது இரட்சிப்பும் எனக்குக் கிடைப்பதாக;
Let thy mercies come also to me, O LORD, even thy salvation, according to thy word.
42 அப்பொழுது நான் என்னை நிந்திக்கிறவனுக்குப் பதில் சொல்வேன்; ஏனெனில் நானோ உமது வார்த்தையிலேயே நம்பிக்கையை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
So shall I have that to answer him that reproacheth me: for I trust in thy word.
43 சத்திய வார்த்தையை என் வாயிலிருந்து பறித்துக் கொள்ளாதிரும்; ஏனெனில், நான் உமது சட்டங்களிலேயே என் நம்பிக்கையை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
And take not the word of truth utterly out of my mouth; for I have hoped in thy judgments.
44 நான் எப்பொழுதும் உமது சட்டத்துக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்.
So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever.
45 உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளில் நடப்பதினால், நான் சுதந்திரமாக நடந்துவருவேன்.
And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.
46 நான் அரசர்களுக்கு முன்பாக உமது நியமங்களைக் குறித்துப்பேசுவேன்; நான் வெட்கத்திற்கு உள்ளாகமாட்டேன்.
I will speak of thy testimonies also before kings, and will not be ashamed.
47 ஏனெனில், நான் உமது கட்டளைகளை நேசிக்கிறேன், அவற்றில் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறேன்.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved.
48 நான் நேசிக்கும் உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை மதிக்கிறேன்; உம்முடைய விதிமுறைகளைத் தியானிப்பேன்.
My hands also will I lift to thy commandments, which I have loved; and I will meditate in thy statutes.
49 உமது அடியேனுக்குக் கொடுத்த உமது வார்த்தையை நினைவிற்கொள்ளும்; அதினால் எனக்கு நம்பிக்கையை தந்திருக்கிறீர்.
Remember the word to thy servant, upon which thou hast caused me to hope.
50 இதுவே என் துன்பத்தில் எனக்கு ஆறுதல்: உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்தம் என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்வது.
This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy word hath revived me.
51 அகங்காரம் கொண்டவர்கள் தயக்கமின்றி என்னை ஏளனம் செய்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது சட்டத்திலிருந்து விலகுவதில்லை.
The proud have had me greatly in derision: yet I have not declined from thy law.
52 யெகோவாவே, உமது பூர்வகாலத்து சட்டங்களை நான் நினைவிற்கொள்கிறேன்; நான் அவைகளில் ஆறுதல் பெறுகிறேன்.
I remembered thy judgments of old, O LORD; and have comforted myself.
53 உமது சட்டத்தைக் கைவிட்டுவிட்ட கொடியவர்களின் நிமித்தம், கடுங்கோபம் என்னைப் பற்றிக்கொள்கிறது.
Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law.
54 நான் எங்கு தங்கினாலும், உமது விதிமுறைகளே எனது பாடலின் கருப்பொருளாயிற்று.
Thy statutes have been my songs in the house of my pilgrimage.
55 யெகோவாவே, இரவிலே நான் உமது பெயரை நினைவிற்கொண்டு, உமது சட்டத்தைக் கைக்கொள்வேன்.
I have remembered thy name, O LORD, in the night, and have kept thy law.
56 உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதே என் வழக்கமாயிற்று.
This I had, because I kept thy precepts.
57 யெகோவாவே, நீரே என் பங்கு; உமது வார்த்தைகளுக்கு நான் கீழ்ப்படிவதாக வாக்களித்திருக்கிறேன்.
Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
58 நான் என் முழு இருதயத்தோடும் உமது முகத்தைத் தேடியிருக்கிறேன்; உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி என்மீது கிருபையாயிரும்.
I entreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful to me according to thy word.
59 நான் என் வாழ்வின் பாதையை சிந்தித்து, உம்முடைய நியமங்களைப் பின்பற்ற முடிவு செய்துள்ளேன்.
I thought on my ways, and turned my feet to thy testimonies.
60 உமது கட்டளைகளுக்கு விரைவாய்க் கீழ்ப்படிவேன், தாமதிக்கமாட்டேன்.
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.
61 கொடியவர்கள் என்னைக் கயிறுகளினால் கட்டினாலும், நான் உமது சட்டத்தை மறவேன்.
The bands of the wicked have robbed me: but I have not forgotten thy law.
62 உமது நியாயமான சட்டங்களுக்காக உமக்கு நன்றி செலுத்தும்படி, நான் நள்ளிரவில் விழித்தெழுகிறேன்.
At midnight I will rise to give thanks to thee because of thy righteous judgments.
63 உமக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிற, உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைப் பின்பற்றுகிற எல்லோருக்கும் நான் நண்பனாய் இருக்கிறேன்.
I am a companion of all them that fear thee, and of them that keep thy precepts.
64 யெகோவாவே, பூமி உமது அன்பினால் நிறைந்திருக்கிறது; உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
The earth, O LORD, is full of thy mercy: teach me thy statutes.
65 யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய வார்த்தையின்படி உமது அடியேனுக்கு நன்மை செய்யும்.
Thou hast dealt well with thy servant, O LORD, according to thy word.
66 உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளை நான் நம்புவதால், அறிவையும் நல்ல நிதானிப்பையும் எனக்குப் போதியும்.
Teach me good judgment and knowledge: for I have believed thy commandments.
67 நான் துன்பப்படுவதற்கு முன்பு வழிவிலகிப் போனேன், ஆனால் இப்பொழுதோ உம்முடைய வார்த்தைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறேன்.
Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.
68 நீர் நல்லவர், நீர் நன்மையானதையே செய்கிறீர்; உம்முடைய விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.
69 அகங்காரம் கொண்டவர்கள் என்னைப்பற்றிப் பொய்களைப் பரப்பினார்கள், ஆனாலும் நான் முழு இருதயத்தோடும், உம்முடைய ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைக் கைக்கொள்கிறேன்.
The proud have forged a lie against me: but I will keep thy precepts with my whole heart.
70 அவர்களுடைய இருதயங்கள் கடினமானவைகளும், உணர்வற்றவைகளுமாய் இருக்கின்றன; நானோ உம்முடைய சட்டத்தில் மகிழ்கிறேன்.
Their heart is covered with fat; but I delight in thy law.
71 நான் துன்பப்பட்டது எனக்கு நன்மையாகவே இருந்தது; அதினால் நான் உம்முடைய விதிமுறைகளைக் கற்றுக்கொள்கிறேன்.
It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
72 ஆயிரமாயிரமான பொன் வெள்ளியைப் பார்க்கிலும், உம்முடைய வாயிலிருந்து வருகிற சட்டம் எனக்கு அதிக விலையேறப்பெற்றது.
The law of thy mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.
73 உம்முடைய கரங்கள் என்னைப் படைத்து உருவாக்கின; உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளைக் கற்று விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும் ஆற்றலை எனக்குத் தாரும்.
Thy hands have made me and fashioned me: give me understanding, that I may learn thy commandments.
74 நான் உமது வார்த்தையில் என் எதிர்பார்ப்பை வைத்திருக்கிறபடியால், உமக்குப் பயந்து நடப்பவர்கள் என்னைக் காணும்போது, மகிழ்ச்சியடைவார்களாக.
They that fear thee will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in thy word.
75 யெகோவாவே, உமது சட்டங்கள் நியாயமானவை என்பதை நான் அறிவேன்; நீர் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்தியது சரிதான்.
I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me.
76 நீர் உம்முடைய அடியேனுக்குக் கொடுத்த உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி, உம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பு என்னைத் தேற்றுவதாக.
Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word to thy servant.
77 நான் வாழ்வடையும்படி உம்முடைய கருணை எனக்குக் கிடைக்கட்டும்; உமது சட்டம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சி.
Let thy tender mercies come to me, that I may live: for thy law is my delight.
78 காரணமின்றி எனக்கு அநியாயம் செய்யும் அகங்காரம் கொண்டவர்கள் வெட்கம் அடைவார்களாக; நானோ, உம்முடைய ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைத் தியானிப்பேன்.
Let the proud be ashamed; for they dealt perversely with me without a cause: but I will meditate in thy precepts.
79 உமது நியமங்களை விளங்கிக்கொண்டு, உமக்குப் பயந்து நடக்கிறவர்கள் என் பக்கம் திரும்பட்டும்.
Let those that fear thee turn to me, and those that have known thy testimonies.
80 நான் வெட்கப்பட்டுப் போகாதபடி என் இருதயம் உம்முடைய விதிமுறைகளைக் குறித்து குற்றமற்றதாய் இருக்கட்டும்.
Let my heart be sound in thy statutes; that I may not be ashamed.
81 உம்முடைய இரட்சிப்பின் மேலுள்ள வாஞ்சையினால் என் ஆத்துமா ஏங்குகிறது; நான் உமது வார்த்தையிலேயே என் எதிர்பார்ப்பை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
My soul fainteth for thy salvation: but I hope in thy word.
82 உம்முடைய வாக்குத்தத்தத்திற்காக காத்திருந்து, என் கண்கள் மங்கிப்போகின்றன; “நீர் என்னை எப்பொழுது தேற்றுவீர்?” என்று கேட்க விரும்புகிறேன்.
My eyes fail for thy word, saying, When wilt thou comfort me?
83 நான் புகைக்குள்ளிருந்து சுருங்கிப்போகும் திராட்சைக் குடுவையைப்போல் இருந்தாலும், உமது விதிமுறைகளை மறவாமல் இருக்கிறேன்.
For I am become like a bottle in the smoke; yet I do not forget thy statutes.
84 உமது அடியேன் எவ்வளவு காலத்திற்குக் காத்திருக்கவேண்டும்? என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துகிறவர்களை நீர் எப்பொழுது தண்டிப்பீர்?
How many are the days of thy servant? when wilt thou execute judgment on them that persecute me?
85 அகங்காரம் கொண்டவர்கள் நான் விழுவதற்குக் குழி தோண்டுகிறார்கள்; அது உமது சட்டத்திற்கு முரணானது.
The proud have dug pits for me, which are not according to thy law.
86 உம்முடைய கட்டளைகளெல்லாம் நம்பத்தகுந்தவை; காரணமின்றி மனிதர் என்னைத் துன்பப்படுத்துவதால், எனக்கு உதவிசெய்யும்.
All thy commandments are faithful: they persecute me wrongfully; help thou me.
87 அவர்கள் என்னைப் பூமியிலிருந்து ஏறக்குறைய அழித்துவிட்டார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைக் கைவிடவில்லை.
They had almost consumed me upon earth; but I forsook not thy precepts.
88 உம்முடைய உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பின்படியே என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும், அதினால் நான் உமது வாயின் நியமங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்.
Revive me after thy lovingkindness; so shall I keep the testimony of thy mouth.
89 யெகோவாவே, உம்முடைய வார்த்தை நித்தியமானது; அது வானங்களில் உறுதியாய் நிற்கின்றது.
For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.
90 உம்முடைய சத்தியம் தலைமுறை தலைமுறைக்கும் தொடர்கிறது; நீர் பூமியை நிலைநிறுத்தினீர், அது நிலைத்திருக்கிறது.
Thy faithfulness is to all generations: thou hast established the earth, and it abideth.
91 உம்முடைய சட்டங்கள் இன்றுவரை நிலைத்திருக்கின்றன; ஏனெனில் எல்லாம் உமக்குப் பணி செய்கின்றன.
They continue this day according to thy ordinances: for all are thy servants.
92 உம்முடைய சட்டம் என் மனமகிழ்ச்சியாய் இராதிருந்தால், நான் என் துன்பத்திலே அழிந்து போயிருப்பேன்.
Unless thy law had been my delights, I should then have perished in my affliction.
93 நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளை ஒருபோதும் மறவேன்; ஏனெனில் அவைகளால் நீர் என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொண்டீர்.
I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast revived me.
94 நான் உம்முடையவனாய் இருப்பதால் என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்; நான் உம்முடைய ஒழுங்குவிதிகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிய முயற்சித்தேன்.
I am thine, save me; for I have sought thy precepts.
95 கொடியவர்கள் என்னை அழிக்கக் காத்துக்கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது நியமங்களை ஆழ்ந்து சிந்திப்பேன்.
The wicked have waited for me to destroy me: but I will consider thy testimonies.
96 பரிபூரணத்திற்கும் ஓர் எல்லையை நான் காண்கிறேன்; ஆனால் உமது கட்டளைகளோ எல்லையற்றவை.
I have seen an end of all perfection: but thy commandment is exceeding broad.
97 ஆ, உமது சட்டத்தை நான் எவ்வளவாய் நேசிக்கிறேன்! நாள்முழுவதும் நான் அதை தியானிக்கிறேன்.
O how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day.
98 உமது கட்டளைகள் எப்பொழுதும் என்னுடன் இருப்பதால், அவை எனது பகைவரைப் பார்க்கிலும், என்னை ஞானியாக்கியது.
Thou through thy commandments hast made me wiser than my enemies: for they are ever with me.
99 நான் உமது நியமங்களைத் தியானிப்பதினால், எனது ஆசிரியர்கள் எல்லோரைப் பார்க்கிலும் நான் அதிக அறிவுள்ளவனாக இருக்கிறேன்.
I have more understanding than all my teachers: for thy testimonies are my (meditation)
100 நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவதினால், முதியவர்களைவிட அதிக புரிந்துகொள்ளுதல் உள்ளவனாயிருக்கிறேன்.
I understand more than the ancients, because I keep thy precepts.
101 உமது வார்த்தைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படியும்படி நான் என் நடைகளை, எல்லாத் தீய வழிகளிலுமிருந்து விலக்கிக் காத்துக்கொண்டேன்;
I have restrained my feet from every evil way, that I might keep thy word.
102 நான் உமது சட்டங்களைவிட்டு விலகிப் போகாமலிருக்கிறேன்; ஏனெனில் நீர் தாமே அவைகளை எனக்கு போதித்திருக்கிறீர்.
I have not departed from thy judgments: for thou hast taught me.
103 உமது வார்த்தைகள் எனக்கு எவ்வளவு இனிமையானவை! என் வாய்க்கு அவை தேனைவிட இனிமையானவை.
How sweet are thy words to my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!
104 உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளால் நான் விளங்கும் ஆற்றலைப் பெறுகிறேன்; ஆகவே எல்லாத் தவறான வழிகளையும் நான் வெறுக்கிறேன்.
Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
105 உமது வார்த்தை எனது கால்களுக்கு விளக்காகவும் என் பாதைக்கு வெளிச்சமாகவும் இருக்கிறது.
Thy word is a lamp to my feet, and a light to my path.
106 உமது நீதியான சட்டங்களை நான் பின்பற்றுவேன் என்று நான் ஒரு சத்தியப் பிரமாணம் எடுத்தேன்; அதை உறுதிப்படுத்தியும் இருக்கிறேன்.
I have sworn, and I will perform it, that I will keep thy righteous judgments.
107 நான் அதிகமாய் துன்பமடைந்திருக்கிறேன்; யெகோவாவே, உமது வார்த்தையின்படியே என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
I am afflicted very much: revive me, O LORD, according to thy word.
108 யெகோவாவே, நான் மனப்பூர்வமாக செலுத்தும் என் வாயின் துதிகளை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும்; உமது நீதிநெறிகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
Accept, I beseech thee, the freewill offerings of my mouth, O LORD, and teach me thy judgments.
109 என் உயிர் எப்போதும் ஆபத்தில் இருந்தாலும், உமது சட்டத்தையோ மறக்கமாட்டேன்.
My soul is continually in my hand: yet I do not forget thy law.
110 கொடியவர்கள் எனக்குக் கண்ணிவைத்தார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைவிட்டு விலகவில்லை.
The wicked have laid a snare for me: yet I erred not from thy precepts.
111 உமது நியமங்களே என்றென்றுமாய் எனது பரம்பரைச் சொத்து; அவைகள் என் இருதயத்தின் மகிழ்ச்சி.
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
112 உமது விதிமுறைகளை கடைசிவரைக்கும் கைக்கொள்ள என் இருதயம் ஆயத்தமாய் இருக்கிறது.
I have inclined my heart to perform thy statutes always, even to the end.
113 இருமனம் கொண்டவர்களை நான் வெறுக்கிறேன். நானோ உமது சட்டத்தை நேசிக்கிறேன்.
I hate vain thoughts: but thy law do I love.
114 நீரே என் புகலிடமும் என் கேடயமுமாய் இருக்கிறீர்; உமது வார்த்தையில் எனது நம்பிக்கையை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.
115 அக்கிரம செய்கைக்காரே, என்னைவிட்டு அகன்றுபோங்கள், நான் என் இறைவனின் கட்டளைகளைக் கைக்கொள்ளுவேன்!
Depart from me, ye evildoers: for I will keep the commandments of my God.
116 உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்; அப்பொழுது நான் வாழ்வடைவேன்; என் நம்பிக்கை வீண்போக விடாதேயும்.
Uphold me according to thy word, that I may live: and let me not be ashamed of my hope.
117 என்னைத் தாங்கிக்கொள்ளும். அப்பொழுது நான் விடுவிக்கப்படுவேன்; நான் எப்பொழுதும் உமது விதிமுறைகளை மதிப்பேன்.
Support me, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect to thy statutes continually.
118 உமது விதிமுறைகளிலிருந்து விலகிப்போகிற எல்லோரையும் நீர் புறக்கணிக்கிறீர். அவர்களுடைய வஞ்சனை வெறுமையானது.
Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood.
119 பூமியிலுள்ள கொடியவர்கள் அனைவரையும் நீர் களிம்பைப்போல் நீக்கிவிடுகிறீர்; ஆகையால் நான் உமது நியமங்களை நேசிக்கிறேன்.
Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies.
120 உம் மீதுள்ள பயபக்தியால் எனது தசை நடுங்குகிறது; நான் உமது சட்டங்களுக்குப் பயப்படுகிறேன்.
My flesh trembleth for fear of thee; and I am afraid of thy judgments.
121 நான் நியாயமும், நீதியுமானதைச் செய்திருக்கிறேன்; என்னை ஒடுக்குகிறவர்களிடத்தில் என்னை விட்டுவிடாதேயும்.
I have executed justice and righteousness: leave me not to my oppressors.
122 உமது பணியாளனின் நல்வாழ்வை உறுதிப்படுத்தும்; அகந்தையுள்ளவர்கள் என்னை ஒடுக்குவதற்கு இடமளியாதேயும்.
Be surety for thy servant for good: let not the proud oppress me.
123 உமது இரட்சிப்பைக் காண்பதற்கும், உமது நீதியான வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் நிறைவேறுவதற்கும் காத்திருந்து, என் கண்கள் மங்கிப்போகின்றன.
My eyes fail for thy salvation, and for the word of thy righteousness.
124 உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பின்படியே உமது அடியேனுக்கு செய்தருளி, உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
Deal with thy servant according to thy mercy, and teach me thy statutes.
125 நான் உமது பணியாளன்; உமது நியமங்களை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும்படி எனக்கு பகுத்தறிவைத் தாரும்.
I am thy servant; give me understanding, that I may know thy testimonies.
126 யெகோவாவே, நீர் செயலாற்றும் வேளை வந்தது; உமது சட்டம் மீறப்பட்டுவிட்டது.
It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.
127 உமது கட்டளைகளை தங்கத்தைவிட, சுத்தத் தங்கத்தைவிட அதிகமாய் விரும்புகிறதினாலும்,
Therefore I love thy commandments above gold; yea, above fine gold.
128 உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளெல்லாம் நியாயமானவை என்று நான் எண்ணுவதாலும், நான் தவறான வழிகளையெல்லாம் வெறுக்கிறேன்.
Therefore I esteem all thy precepts concerning all things to be right; and I hate every false way.
129 உமது நியமங்கள் ஆச்சரியமானவை, ஆகையால் நான் அவைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறேன்.
Thy testimonies are wonderful: therefore doth my soul keep them.
130 உமது வார்த்தைகளின் வெளிப்படுத்தல் வெளிச்சத்தைக் கொடுக்கின்றன; அவை எளியவர்களுக்கு புரிந்துகொள்ளும் ஆற்றலைக் கொடுக்கின்றன.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding to the simple.
131 நான் உமது கட்டளைகளை விரும்பி, என் வாயைத் திறந்தவன்னம் ஏங்குகிறேன்.
I opened my mouth, and panted: for I longed for thy commandments.
132 உமது பெயரை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்கு நீர் எப்பொழுதும் செய்கிறபடியே, என் பக்கம் திரும்பி என்மேல் இரக்கமாயிரும்.
Look thou upon me, and be merciful to me, as thou didst use to do to those that love thy name.
133 உமது வார்த்தையின்படியே என் காலடிகளை வழிநடத்தி, ஒரு பாவமும் என்னை ஆளுகைசெய்ய விடாதேயும்.
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
134 மனிதரின் அடக்கு முறையிலிருந்து என்னை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும்; அதினால் நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைக் கைக்கொள்வேன்.
Deliver me from the oppression of man: so will I keep thy precepts.
135 உமது அடியேன்மேல் உமது முகத்தைப் பிரகாசிக்கப்பண்ணும்; உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதியும்.
Make thy face to shine upon thy servant; and teach me thy statutes.
136 மனிதர் உமது சட்டத்திற்குக் கீழ்ப்படியாதபடியால், எனது கண்களில் இருந்து கண்ணீர் ஆறாகப் பெருக்கெடுக்கிறது.
Rivers of waters run down my eyes, because they keep not thy law.
137 யெகோவாவே, நீர் நீதியுள்ளவர்; உமது சட்டங்கள் நியாயமானவை.
Righteous art thou, O LORD, and upright are thy judgments.
138 நீர் ஏற்படுத்திய நியமங்கள் நீதியானவை; அவை முற்றும் நம்பத்தகுந்தவை.
Thy testimonies that thou hast commanded are righteous and very faithful.
139 என் பகைவர்கள் உமது வார்த்தைகளை உதாசீனம் செய்வதால், எனது தீவிர ஆர்வம் என்னை சுட்டெரிக்கிறது.
My zeal hath consumed me, because my enemies have forgotten thy words.
140 உமது வாக்குத்தத்தங்கள் முற்றிலும் சோதித்து நிரூபிக்கப்பட்டிருக்கின்றன; உமது அடியேன் அவற்றை நேசிக்கிறேன்.
Thy word is very pure: therefore thy servant loveth it.
141 நான் அற்பமானவனும் வெறுக்கப்பட்டவனுமாய் இருந்தாலும், உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளை நான் மறக்கமாட்டேன்.
I am small and despised: yet I do not forget thy precepts.
142 உமது நீதி நித்தியமானது, உமது சட்டம் உண்மையானது.
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and thy law is the truth.
143 கஷ்டமும் துன்பமும் என்மேல் வந்தன; ஆனாலும், உமது கட்டளைகள் என் மகிழ்ச்சியாய் இருக்கின்றன.
Trouble and anguish have taken hold on me: yet thy commandments are my delights.
144 உமது நியமங்கள் என்றென்றும் நீதியானவை; அவற்றை விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும் ஆற்றலை எனக்குத் தாரும், அதினால் நான் பிழைப்பேன்.
The righteousness of thy testimonies is everlasting: give me understanding, and I shall live.
145 யெகோவாவே, என் முழு இருதயத்துடனும் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; எனக்குப் பதில் தாரும், நான் உமது விதிமுறைகளுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிவேன்.
I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O LORD: I will keep thy statutes.
146 நான் உம்மைக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன், என்னைக் காப்பாற்றும்; நான் உமது நியமங்களைக் கைக்கொள்வேன்.
I cried to thee; save me, and I shall keep thy testimonies.
147 விடிகிறதற்கு முன்னே நான் எழுந்து உதவிக்காகக் கூப்பிடுகிறேன்; உமது வார்த்தையில் என் எதிர்பார்ப்பை வைத்திருக்கிறேன்.
I came before the dawning of the morning, and cried: I hoped in thy word.
148 உமது வாக்குத்தத்தங்களை நான் தியானிக்கும்படி, இராமுழுவதும் என் கண்கள் விழித்திருக்கின்றன.
My eyes are awake through the night watches, that I might meditate in thy word.
149 நீர் என்மீது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்புகூறுகிறபடியால் என் குரலைக் கேளும்; யெகோவாவே, உமது சட்டங்களின்படியே என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
Hear my voice according to thy lovingkindness: O LORD, revive me according to thy judgment.
150 கொடுமையான திட்டங்களைத் தீட்டுகிறவர்கள் எனக்கு அருகே இருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனால், அவர்கள் உமது சட்டத்திற்குத் தூரமாய் இருக்கிறார்கள்.
They draw near that follow after mischief: they are far from thy law.
151 என்றாலும் யெகோவாவே, நீர் அருகே இருக்கிறீர்; உமது கட்டளைகள் எல்லாம் உண்மை.
Thou art near, O LORD; and all thy commandments are truth.
152 உமது நியமங்கள் நித்தியமாய் இருக்க நீர் அவைகளை நிலைநாட்டினீர் என்பதை வெகுகாலத்திற்கு முன்பே நான் அறிந்திருக்கிறேன்.
Concerning thy testimonies, I have known of old that thou hast founded them for ever.
153 என் வேதனையைப் பார்த்து என்னை விடுவியும்; ஏனெனில், நான் உமது சட்டத்தை மறந்துவிடவில்லை.
Consider my affliction, and deliver me: for I do not forget thy law.
154 எனக்காக வாதாடி என்னை மீட்டுக்கொள்ளும்; உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படி என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
Plead my cause, and deliver me: revive me according to thy word.
155 இரட்சிப்பு கொடியவர்களுக்குத் தூரமாய் இருக்கிறதினால், அவர்கள் உமது விதிமுறைகளைத் தேடுவதில்லை.
Salvation is far from the wicked: for they seek not thy statutes.
156 யெகோவாவே, உமது இரக்கம் பெரிதானது; உமது சட்டங்களின்படியே என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
Great are thy tender mercies, O LORD: revive me according to thy judgments.
157 என்னை உபத்திரவப்படுத்துகிற எதிரிகள் அநேகராயிருக்கிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் நான் உம்முடைய நியமங்களை விட்டு விலகவில்லை.
Many are my persecutors and my enemies; yet I do not decline from thy testimonies.
158 துரோகிகளை நான் அருவருப்புடன் பார்க்கிறேன்; ஏனெனில் அவர்கள் உமது வார்த்தைக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறதில்லை.
I beheld the transgressors, and was grieved; because they kept not thy word.
159 நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளை எவ்வளவாய் நேசிக்கிறேனென்று பாரும்; யெகோவாவே, உமது உடன்படிக்கையின் அன்பின்படியே என் வாழ்வைக் காத்துக்கொள்ளும்.
Consider how I love thy precepts: revive me, O LORD, according to thy lovingkindness.
160 உமது வார்தைகள் எல்லாம் உண்மையானவை; நீதியான உமது சட்டங்கள் எல்லாம் நித்தியமானவை.
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.
161 ஆட்சியாளர்கள் காரணமில்லாமல் என்னை உபத்திரவப்படுத்துகிறார்கள்; ஆனாலும் என் இருதயம் உமது வார்த்தைக்கு நடுங்குகிறது.
Princes have persecuted me without a cause: but my heart standeth in awe of thy word.
162 பெரும் கொள்ளைப்பொருளைக் கண்டுபிடித்து மகிழ்வதுபோல், உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தில் நான் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறேன்.
I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil.
163 நான் பொய்யை வெறுத்து அருவருக்கிறேன்; ஆனால் உமது சட்டத்தையோ நான் நேசிக்கிறேன்.
I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love.
164 நீதியான உமது சட்டங்களுக்காக நான் ஒரு நாளில் ஏழுமுறை உம்மைத் துதிக்கிறேன்.
Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments.
165 உமது சட்டத்தை நேசிக்கிறவர்களுக்குப் பெரிதான சமாதானம் உண்டு; அவர்களுக்கு இடறலில்லை.
Great peace have they who love thy law: and nothing shall cause them to stumble.
166 யெகோவாவே, உமது இரட்சிப்புக்காக நான் காத்திருக்கிறேன்; உமது கட்டளைகளை நான் பின்பற்றுகிறேன்.
LORD, I have hoped for thy salvation, and performed thy commandments.
167 நான் உமது நியமங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படிகிறேன்; ஏனெனில் நான் அவற்றை அதிகமாய் நேசிக்கிறேன்.
My soul hath kept thy testimonies; and I love them exceedingly.
168 நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளுக்கும் நியமங்களுக்கும் கீழ்ப்படிகிறேன்; எனது எல்லா செயல்களும் உமக்குத் தெரிந்திருக்கின்றன.
I have kept thy precepts and thy testimonies: for all my ways are before thee.
169 யெகோவாவே, எனது வேண்டுதலை நீர் கேட்பீராக; உமது வார்த்தையின்படியே எனக்கு விளங்கிக்கொள்ளும் ஆற்றலைத் தாரும்.
Let my cry come near before thee, O LORD: give me understanding according to thy word.
170 என் விண்ணப்பத்தை நீர் கேட்பீராக; உமது வாக்குத்தத்தத்தின்படியே என்னை விடுவியும்.
Let my supplication come before thee: deliver me according to thy word.
171 எனது உதடுகள் துதிகளினால் நிரம்பி வழிகிறது; ஏனெனில், நீர் உமது விதிமுறைகளை எனக்குப் போதிக்கிறீர்.
My lips shall utter praise, when thou hast taught me thy statutes.
172 எனது நாவு உமது வார்த்தையைக் குறித்துப் பாடட்டும்; ஏனெனில், உமது கட்டளைகள் எல்லாம் நியாயமானவை.
My tongue shall speak of thy word: for all thy commandments are righteousness.
173 உமது கரம் எனக்கு உதவிசெய்ய ஆயத்தமாய் இருப்பதாக; ஏனெனில் நான் உமது ஒழுங்குவிதிகளைத் தேர்ந்தெடுத்திருக்கிறேன்.
Let thy hand help me; for I have chosen thy precepts.
174 யெகோவாவே, நான் உமது இரட்சிப்புக்கு வாஞ்சையாயிருக்கிறேன்; உமது சட்டம் எனது மகிழ்ச்சி.
I have longed for thy salvation, O LORD; and thy law is my delight.
175 நான் உம்மைத் துதிக்கும்படி வாழ்ந்திருப்பேனாக; உமது சட்டங்கள் என்னைத் தாங்குவதாக.
Let my soul live, and it shall praise thee; and let thy judgments help me.
176 காணாமற்போன ஆட்டைப்போல் நான் வழிவிலகிப் போய்விட்டேன்; உமது அடியேனைத் தேடுவீராக; ஏனெனில் நான் உமது கட்டளைகளை மறக்கவில்லை.
I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.
