Psaltaren 101

1 Av David; en psalm. Om nåd och rätt vill jag sjunga, dig, HERRE, lovsäga.

Of David a psalm covenant loyalty and justice I will sing to you O Yahweh I will sing praises.

2 Jag vill akta på ostrafflighetens väg -- när kommer du till mig? Jag vill föra en ostrafflig vandel, där jag bor i mitt hus.

I will give attention - to a way blameless when? will you come to me I will walk about in [the] integrity of heart my in [the] midst of house my.

3 Jag vänder mitt öga ej till det som fördärvligt är. Att öva orättfärdighet hatar jag; sådant skall ej låda vid mig.

Not I will set - to before eyes my a thing of worthlessness [the] doing of swerving deeds I hate not it will cling to me.

4 Ett vrångt hjärta vare fjärran ifrån mig; vad ont är vill jag ej veta av.

A heart perverse it will depart from me evil not I will know.

5 Den som i hemlighet förtalar sin nästa, honom vill jag förgöra; den som har stolta ögon och högmodigt hjärta, honom lider jag icke.

([one who] slanders *Qk) In secrecy - neighbor his him I will destroy [the] haughty of eyes and [the] wide of heart him not I will be able.

6 Mina ögon se efter de trogna i landet, för att de må bo hos mig; den som vandrar på ostrafflighetens väg, han får vara min tjänare.

Eyes my - [will be] on [the] faithful [people] of [the] earth to dwell with me [one who] walks in a way blameless he he will serve me.

7 Den får icke bo i mitt hus, som övar svek; den som talar lögn skall ej bestå inför mina ögon.

Not he will dwell - in [the] midst of house my [one who] does deceit [one who] speaks lies not he will be established to before eyes my.

8 Morgon efter morgon skall jag förgöra alla ogudaktiga i landet och utrota alla ogärningsmän ur HERRENS stad.

To the mornings I will destroy all [the] wicked [people] of [the] land to cut off from [the] city of Yahweh all [those who] do wickedness.
