2 Krönikeboken 13

1 I konung Jerobeams adertonde regeringsår blev Abia konung över Juda.

2 Han regerade tre år i Jerusalem. Hans moder hette Mikaja, Uriels dotter, från Gibea. Men Abia och Jerobeam lågo i krig med varandra.

3 Och Abia begynte kriget med en här av tappra krigsmän, fyra hundra tusen utvalda män; men Jerobeam ställde upp sig till strid mot honom med åtta hundra tusen utvalda tappra stridsmän.

4 Och Abia steg upp på berget Semaraim i Efraims bergsbygd och sade: "Hören mig, du, Jerobeam, och I, hela Israel.

and to arise: rise Abijah from upon to/for mountain: mount (Mount) Zemaraim which in/on/with mountain: hill country Ephraim and to say to hear: hear me Jeroboam and all Israel

5 Skullen I icke veta att det är HERREN, Israels Gud, som har givit åt David konungadömet över Israel för evig tid, åt honom själv och hans söner, genom ett saltförbund?

6 Men Jerobeam, Nebats son, Salomos, Davids sons, tjänare, uppreste sig och avföll från sin herre.

and to arise: rise Jeroboam son: child Nebat servant/slave Solomon son: child David and to rebel upon lord his

7 Och till honom församlade sig löst folk, onda män, och de blevo Rehabeam, Salomos son, för starka, eftersom Rehabeam ännu var ung och försagd och därför icke kunde stå dem emot.

and to gather upon him human worthless son: type of Belial and to strengthen upon Rehoboam son: child Solomon and Rehoboam to be youth and tender heart and not to strengthen: prevail over to/for face of their

8 Och nu menen I eder kunna stå emot HERRENS konungadöme, som tillhör Davids söner, eftersom I ären en stor hop och haven hos eder de guldkalvar som Jerobeam har låtit göra åt eder till gudar.

and now you(m. p.) to say to/for to strengthen: prevail over to/for face: before kingdom LORD in/on/with hand: power son: descendant/people David and you(m. p.) crowd many and with you calf gold which to make to/for you Jeroboam to/for God

9 Haven I icke fördrivit HERRENS präster, Arons söner, och leviterna, och själva gjort eder präster, såsom de främmande folken göra? Vemhelst som kommer med en ungtjur och sju vädurar for att taga handfyllning, han får bliva präst åt dessa gudar, som icke äro gudar.

not to banish [obj] priest LORD [obj] son: child Aaron and [the] Levi and to make to/for you priest like/as people [the] land: country/planet all [the] to come (in): come to/for to fill hand: donate his in/on/with bullock son: young animal cattle and ram seven and to be priest to/for not God

10 Men vi hava HERREN till vår Gud, och vi hava icke övergivit honom. Vi hava präster av Arons söner, som göra tjänst inför HERREN, och leviter, som sköta tempelsysslorna;

and we LORD God our and not to leave: forsake him and priest to minister to/for LORD son: child Aaron and [the] Levi in/on/with work

11 och de förbränna åt HERREN brännoffer var morgon och var afton och antända välluktande rökelse och lägga upp bröd på det gyllene bordet och tända var afton den gyllene ljusstaken med dess lampor. Ty vi hålla vad HERREN, vår Gud, har bjudit oss hålla, men I haven övergivit honom.

and to offer: offer to/for LORD burnt offering in/on/with morning in/on/with morning and in/on/with evening in/on/with evening and incense spice and row food: bread upon [the] table [the] pure and lampstand [the] gold and lamp her to/for to burn: burn in/on/with evening in/on/with evening for to keep: obey we [obj] charge LORD God our and you(m. p.) to leave: forsake [obj] him

12 Och se, vi hava Gud i spetsen för oss, och vi hava hans präster med larmtrumpeterna för att blåsa till strid mot eder. I Israels barn, striden icke mot HERREN, edra fäders Gud; ty då skall det icke gå eder väl."

and behold with us in/on/with head: leader [the] God and priest his and trumpet [the] shout to/for to shout upon you son: child Israel not to fight with LORD God father your for not to prosper

13 Men Jerobeam hade låtit kringgå dem och lagt ett bakhåll för att falla dem i ryggen; så stodo de nu mitt emot Juda män och hade sitt bakhåll bakom dem.

and Jeroboam to turn: surround [obj] [the] ambush to/for to come (in): come from after them and to be to/for face: before Judah and [the] ambush from after them

14 När då Juda män vände sig om, fingo de se att de hade fiender både framför sig och bakom sig. Då ropade de till HERREN, och prästerna blåste i trumpeterna.

and to turn Judah and behold to/for them [the] battle face: before and back and to cry to/for LORD and [the] priest (to blow *Qk) in/on/with trumpet

15 Därefter hovo Juda män upp ett härskri; och när Juda män hovo upp sitt härskri, lät Gud Jerobeam och hela Israel bliva slagna av Abia och Juda.

and to shout man Judah and to be in/on/with to shout man Judah and [the] God to strike [obj] Jeroboam and all Israel to/for face: before Abijah and Judah

16 Och Israels barn flydde för Juda, och Gud gav dem i deras hand.

and to flee son: descendant/people Israel from face: before Judah and to give: give them God in/on/with hand: power their

17 Och Abia med sitt folk anställde ett stort nederlag bland dem, så att fem hundra tusen unga män av Israel föllo slagna.

and to smite in/on/with them Abijah and people his wound many and to fall: kill slain: killed from Israel five hundred thousand man to choose

18 Alltså blevo Israels barn på den tiden kuvade; men Juda barn voro starka, ty de stödde sig på HERREN sina fäders Gud.

and be humble son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with time [the] he/she/it and to strengthen son: descendant/people Judah for to lean upon LORD God father their

19 Och Abia förföljde Jerobeam och tog ifrån honom några städer: Betel med underlydande orter, Jesana med underlydande orter och Efron med underlydande orter.

and to pursue Abijah after Jeroboam and to capture from him city [obj] Bethel Bethel and [obj] daughter: village her and [obj] Jeshanah and [obj] daughter: village her and [obj] (Ephron *QK) and daughter: village her

20 Och Jerobeam förmådde ingenting mer, så länge Abia levde; och han blev hemsökt av HERREN, så att han dog.

21 Men Abia befäste sitt välde; och han tog sig fjorton hustrur och födde tjugutvå söner och sexton döttrar.

and to strengthen: strengthen Abijah and to lift: marry to/for him woman: wife four ten and to beget twenty and two son: child and six ten daughter

22 Vad nu mer är att säga om Abia, om hans företag och om annat som rör honom, det finnes upptecknat i profeten Iddos "Utläggning".
