1 Wafalme 7
1 Ilimchukua Sulemani miaka kumi na tatu kujenga ikulu yake.
And his own house hath Solomon built thirteen years, and he finisheth all his house.
2 Aliijenga ikulu iliyoitwa mwitu wa Lebanoni. Urefu wake ulikuwa mita 46, na upanawake ulikuwa mita 23, na kimo chake kilikuwa mita 14. Nayo ilikuwa na safu nne ya nguzo za mierezi na mithili ya mwerezi juu ya nguzo.
And he buildeth the house of the forest of Lebanon; a hundred cubits [is] its length, and fifty cubits its breadth, and thirty cubits its height, on four rows of cedar pillars, and cedar-beams on the pillars;
3 Paa la ikulu lilikuwa la mwerezi ambalo lilikaa juu ya mihimili. Mihili hiyo ilikuwa imeshikiliwa na nguzo. Kulikuwa na mihimili arobaini na tano, ambayo ilikuwa katika safu kumi na tano.
and [it is] covered with cedar above, on the sides that [are] on the forty and five pillars, fifteen in the row.
4 Nayo mihimili ilikuwa safu tatu, na kila dirisha lilikabili dirisha lingine katika madaraja matatu.
And windows [are] in three rows, and sight [is] over-against sight three times.
5 Milango yote na miimo ilitengenezwa kwa mraba, na madirisha yalikuwa yakikabiliana katika madaraja matatu
And all the openings and the side-posts [are] square — windows; and sight [is] over-against sight three times.
6 Akatengeneza baraza lenye uerfu wa mita 23 na upana wa mita 14. Mbele yake kulikuwa na ukumbi ulioezekwa.
And the porch of the pillars he hath made; fifty cubits its length, and thirty cubits its breadth, and the porch [is] before them, and pillars and a thick place [are] before them.
7 Sulemani akajenga baraza yenye kiti cha enzi ambacho alitolea hukumu ya haki. Nayo ilikuwa imeezekwa kwa mwerezi kutoka sakafu moja hadi nyingine.
And the porch of the throne where he judgeth — the porch of judgment — he hath made, and [it is] covered with cedar from the floor unto the floor.
8 Nyumba ya Sulemani ambayo alikusudia kuishi, katika behewa nyingine ndani ya sehemu ya chini ya ikulu, ilitengenezwa kwa kazi hiyo hiyo. Pia alimjengea binti wa Farao nyumba kama hii, ambaye alikuwa mke wake
As to his house where he dwelleth, the other court [is] within the porch — as this work it hath been; and a house he maketh for the daughter of Pharaoh — whom Solomon hath taken — like this porch.
9 Majengo haya yalipmbwa kwa vitu vya thamaini, mawe ya thamani, yaliyochongwa na kukatwa kwa msimeno kufuata vipimo sahihi na kulainishwa pande zote. Mawe ya namna hii ndiyo yale yaliyotumika kuanzia kwenye msingi hadi juu, pia na nje hadi kwenye baraza.
All these [are] of precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, sawn with a saw, within and without, even from the foundation unto the coping, and at the outside, unto the great court.
10 Msingi ulijengwa kwa mawe makubwa sana na ya thamani yenye urefu wa mita 3. 7 na mengine mita 4. 8.
And the foundation [is] of precious stone, great stones, stones of ten cubits, and stones of eight cubits;
11 Kwa juu ilipambwa kwa, mawe ya thamani yaliyochongwa sawa sawa kwa msimeno na kwa mihimili ya mierezi.
and above [are] precious stone, according to the measures of hewn work, and cedar;
12 Na behewa kubwa iliyokuwa ikizunguka ikulu ilikuwa na safu tatu za mawe yaliyokatwa na safu moja ya mihimili ya mierezi kama ilivyo kwenye baraza la ndani la hekalu la BWANA na ule ukumbi wa hekalu.
and the great court round about [is] three rows of hewn work, and a row of cedar-beams, even for the inner court of the house of Jehovah, and for the porch of the house.
13 Mfalme Sulemani alituma watu kumleta Huramu kutoka Tiro.
And king Solomon sendeth and taketh Hiram out of Tyre —
14 Huramu alikuwa mwana wa mjane wa kabila ya Naftali; baba yake alikuwa mtu wa Tiro, mfua shaba. Huramu alikuwa mwingi wa hekima na ufahamu na stadi za kufanya kazi kubwa za shaba. Aliletwa kwa mfalme ili kufanya kazi zilizohusiana na shaba kwa mfalme.
he [is] son of a woman, a widow, of the tribe of Naphtali, and his father a man of Tyre, a worker in brass, and he is filled with the wisdom and the understanding, and the knowledge to do all work in brass — and he cometh unto king Solomon, and doth all his work.
15 Huramu alizilemba zile nguzo mbili za shaba, kila moja ilikuwa na kimo cha mita 8. 3 na mzingo wa mita 5. 5.
And he formeth the two pillars of brass; eighteen cubits [is] the height of the one pillar, and a cord of twelve cubits doth compass the second pillar.
16 Akatengeneza taji mbili za shaba za kuwekwa juu ya zile nguzo. Kimo cha kila taji ilikuwa mita 2. 3.
And two chapiters he hath made to put on the tops of the pillars, cast in brass; five cubits the height of the one chapiter, and five cubits the height of the second chapiter.
17 Kulikuwa na nyavu za kuwa kama kazi ya kusuka, na masongo ya mikufu, kwa ajili ya kuvipamba vile vichwa vya nguzo, nayo yailikuwa saba kwa kila kichwa.
Nets of net-work, wreaths of chain-work [are] for the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars, seven for the one chapiter, and seven for the second chapiter.
18 Kwa hiyo Huramu akafanya safu mbili za komamanga kuzunguka vile vichwa vya nguzo ili kuvipamba vile vichwa.
And he maketh the pillars, and two rows round about on the one net-work, to cover the chapiters that [are] on the top, with the pomegranates, and so he hath made for the second chapiter.
19 Zile taji kwenye vile vichwa vya nguzo za ukumbi zilikuwa zimepambwa kwa maua, yenye vimo vya mita 1. 8.
And the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars [are] of lily-work in the porch, four cubits;
20 Hizo taji kwenye hizo nguzo mbili kwenye vichwa vyake, karibu yake kulikuwa na makomamanga mia mbili yote yakiwa kwenye safu.
and the chapiters on the two pillars also above, over-against the protuberance that [is] beside the net; and the pomegranates [are] two hundred, in rows round about on the second chapiter.
21 Alisimamisha nguzo kwenye ukumbi wa hekalu. Ile nguzo ya kuume akaipa jina la Yakini, na ile ya kushoto akaipa jina la Boazi.
And he raiseth up the pillars for the porch of the temple, and he raiseth up the right pillar, and calleth its name Jachin, and he raiseth up the left pillar, and calleth its name Boaz;
22 Na juu ya zile nguzo kulikuwa na mapambo kama maua. Hivyo ndivyo zile nguzo zilivyotengenezwa.
and on the top of the pillars [is] lily-work; and the work of the pillars [is] completed.
23 Tena akafanya bahari ya kusubu ya, yenye mita 2. 3 kutoka ukingo hadi ukingo, kimo chake kilikuwa mita 4. 6, mziingo wake ulikuwa mita 13. 7.
And he maketh the molten sea, ten by the cubit from its edge unto its edge; [it is] round all about, and five by the cubit [is] its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit doth compass it round about;
24 Na chini ya ile bahari kulikuwa na vibuyu vilivyoizunguka, vilikuwa vibuyu kumi na nane katika kila mita, vilivyowekwa katika kila hicho kipande wakati bahari inapokuwa kalibu.
and knops beneath its brim round about are compassing it, ten by the cubit, going round the sea round about; in two rows [are] the knops, cast in its being cast.
25 Bahari ikakaa juu ya makisai kumi na mbili, tatu, zilitazama kaskazini, tatu zikitazama magharibi, tatu zikitazama kusini na tatu zikitazama kaskazini. Ile bahari iliwekwa juu yao, na pande zao zote za nyuma zilikuwa ndani.
It is standing on twelve oxen, three facing the north, and three facing the west, and three facing the south, and three facing the east, and the sea [is] upon them above, and all their hinder parts [are] inward.
26 Bahari ilikuwa nene kama upana wa mkono, na ukingo wake ulikuwakama ukingo wa kikombe, kama ua la yungi huingia bathi elfu mbili za maji.
And its thickness [is] an handbreadth, and its edge as the work of the edge of a cup, flowers of lilies; two thousand baths it containeth.
27 Huramu akatengeneza makalio kumi ya shaba. Kila kalio lilkuwa na urefu wa mita 1. 8, upana wa mita 1. 8, na kimo cha mita 1. 3.
And he maketh the ten bases of brass; four by the cubit [is] the length of the one base, and four by the cubit its breadth, and three by the cubit its height.
28 Hivi ndivyo kazi za makalio zilivyofanywa. Yalikuwa na papi ambazo zilikaa kati kati ya vipandio,
And this [is] the work of the base: they have borders, and the borders [are] between the joinings;
29 na juu ya papi na vipandio kulikuwa na simba, makisai, na makerubi. Chini na juu simba kulikuwa na masongo ya kazi ya kufuliwa.
and on the borders that [are] between the joinings [are] lions, oxen, and cherubs, and on the joinings a base above, and beneath the lions and the oxen [are] additions — sloping work.
30 Kila kalio lilikuwa na magurudumu ya shaba na vipini, na pande zake nne na miguu yake minne ilikuwa na mataruma chini ya birika. Chini ya birika yalikuweko mataruma ya kusubu yenye masongo katika kila upande.
And four wheels of brass [are] to the one base, and axles of brass; and its four corners have shoulders — under the laver [are] the molten shoulders, beside each addition.
31 Na kinywa chake kilikuwa cha kuviringana, chenye upana wa sentimita araobaini na sita, na ile taji ilikuwa na sentimita ishirini na tatu. Na kinywa chake kilikuwa na nakshi, na papi zake zilikuwa za mraba, na wala siyo za mvringo.
And its mouth within the chapiter and above [is] by the cubit, and its mouth [is] round, the work of the base, a cubit and half a cubit; and also on its mouth [are] carvings and their borders, square, not round.
32 Yale magurudumu mawili yalikuwa chini ya papi, na mikono ya magurudumu yalikuwa ndani ya makalio. Kimo cha yale magurudumu kilikuwa sentimeta sitini na tisa.
And the four wheels [are] under the borders, and the spokes of the wheels [are] in the base, and the height of the one wheel [is] a cubit and half a cubit.
33 Yale magurudumu yalikuwa kama ya gari. Mikono yake, na maduara, matindi yake, na vipande vya ndani vyote vilikuwa vya kusubu.
And the work of the wheels [is] as the work of the wheel of a chariot, their spokes, and their axles, and their felloes, and their naves; the whole [is] molten.
34 Kulikuwa na mataruma manne katika pande zake nne za makalio, yaliyokuwa yameshikamanishwa na kalio lenyewe.
And four shoulders [are] unto the four corners of the one base; out of the base [are] its shoulders.
35 Juu ya makalio kulikuwa na duara yenye kina cha sentimita ishirini na tatu, na juu ya makalio mashikio yake na papi zake zikiwa zimeshikamanishwa.
And in the top of the base [is] the half of a cubit in the height all round about; and on the top of the base its spokes and its borders [are] of the same.
36 Juu ya mabamba na papi zake Huramu akachora makerubi, simba, na mitende ambayo ilifunika nafasi ya juu, nayo ilikuwa imezungukwa na masongo.
And he openeth on the tablets of its spokes, and on its borders, cherubs, lions, and palm-trees, according to the void space of each, and additions round about.
37 Alitengeneza makalio kumi kwa jinsi hii. Yote yalikuwa yametengenezwa kwa kufanana, na yalikuwa ya vipimo sawa, na sura inayofanana.
Thus he hath made the ten bases; one casting, one measure, one form, have they all.
38 Huramu akatengeneza birika kumi za shaba. Birika moja liliweza kubeba bathi arobaini za maji. Kila birika lilikuwa mita 1. 8 toka birika moja hadi jingine na kulikuwa na birika moja katika kila kalio kati ya yale kumi.
And he maketh ten lavers of brass; forty baths doth the one laver contain, four by the cubit [is] the one laver, one laver on the one base [is] to the ten bases;
39 Alitengeneza makalio tano upande wa kusini unaoelekea upande wa hekalu. Akatengeneza bahari katika upande wa mashariki, ukielekea upande wa kusini wa hekalu.
and he putteth the five bases on the right side of the house, and five on the left side of the house, and the sea he hath put on the right side of the house, eastward — over-against the south.
40 Huramu akatengeneza birika na koleo na besini la kunyunyizia. Kisha akamaliza kazi yote aliyofanya kwa mfalme Sulemani katika hekalu la BWANA:
And Hiram maketh the lavers, and the shovels, and the bowls; and Hiram completeth to do all the work that he made for king Solomon, [for] the house of Jehovah;
41 Zile nguzo mbili, na lile besini lakawa kama taji ambalo lilikuwa juu ya zile nguzo, na nyavu mbili za mapambo za kufunika zile besini mbili za kuwa kama taji zilizokuwa juu ya nguzo.
pillars two, and bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars two, and the nets two, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the top of the pillars;
42 Kisha akatengeneza makomamanga mia nne kwa ajili ya zile nyavu mbili za mapambo: safu mbili za makomamamanga kwa kila kazi ya nyavu kwa ajili ya kufunikia zile besini mbili kama taji iliyo juu ya nguzo,
and the pomegranates four hundred for the two nets, two rows of pomegranates for the one net, to cover the two bowls of the chapiters that [are] on the front of the pillars;
43 yale makalio kumi, na birika kumi kwenye makalio.
and the ten bases, and the ten lavers on the bases;
44 Akatengeneza bahari na makisai kumi chini yake;
and the one sea, the twelve oxen under the sea,
45 na masufuria, koleo, birika na vyombo vingine vyote. Huramu akivitengeneza kwa shaba iliyosuguliwa, kwa ajili ya mfalme Sulemani, na kawa ajili ya hekalu la BWANA.
and the pots, and the shovels, and the bowls; and all these vessels, that Hiram hath made to king Solomon [for] the house of Jehovah, [are] of brass — polished.
46 Mfalme alivisubu katika uwanda wa Yorodani, katika udongo mfinyanzi kati ya Sukoti na Zarethani.
In the circuit of the Jordan hath the king cast them, in the thick soil of the ground, between Succoth and Zarthan.
47 Sulemani hakuvipima vyombo vyote kwa sababu vilikuwa vingi mno kuvipima, na kwa sababu uzito wa shaba ulikuwa hauwezi kupimwa.
And Solomon placeth the whole of the vessels; because of the very great abundance, the weight of the brass hath not been searched out.
48 Sulemani akatengeneza mapambo yote yaliyokuwa kwenye hekalu la BWANA kwa kutumia dhahabu: Ile madhabahu ya dhahabu na ile meza ambayo iliwekwa mikate ya wonyesho.
And Solomon maketh all the vessels that [are] in the house of Jehovah: the altar of gold, and the table — on which [is] the bread of the Presence — of gold,
49 Vile vinara vya dhahabu, ambavyo vitano vilikuwa upande wa kulia na vitano mkono wa kushoto, mbele ya chumba cha ndani, vilikuwa vya dhahabu safi, na maua, na taa na koleo zilikuwa za dhahabu.
and the candlesticks, five on the right, and five on the left, before the oracle, of refined gold, and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, of gold,
50 Vile vikombe, na makasi, mabakuri, na vijiko, na vyetezo vyote vilikuwa vimetengenezwa kwa dhahabu safi. na bawaba za dhahabu za milango ya ndani, ambazoo ndio mahali patakatifu sana, na milango ya ukumbi mkubwa, vyote vilitengenezwa kwa dhahabu.
and the basins, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and the censers, of refined gold, and the hinges for the doors of the inner-house, for the holy of holies, for the doors of the house of the temple, of gold.
51 Kwa njia hii, kazi yote ambayo mfalme Sulemani alifanya kwa ajili ya hekalu ilimalizika. Kwa Sulemani akaviingiza ndani yake vitu vile vilivyokuwa vimewekwa wakfu na Daudi, baba yake, na fedha na dhahabu, na mapambo, na vile vya ndani ya hazina ya BWANA.
And it is complete — all the work that king Solomon hath made [for] the house of Jehovah, and Solomon bringeth in the sanctified things of David his father; the silver, and the gold, and the vessels he hath put in the treasuries of the house of Jehovah.
