Salmos 105
1 ¡Alabado sea el Señor! den honor a su nombre, hablando de sus obras entre los pueblos.
Praise the Lord, and call vpon his Name: declare his workes among the people.
2 Deje que su voz suene en canciones y melodía; deja que todos tus pensamientos sean de la maravilla de sus obras.
Sing vnto him, sing prayse vnto him, and talke of all his wonderous workes.
3 Ten la gloria en su santo nombre; que los corazones de aquellos que están buscando al Señor estén contentos.
Reioyce in his holy Name: let the heart of them that seeke the Lord, reioyce.
4 Que tu búsqueda sea para el Señor y para su fortaleza; deja que tus corazones vuelvan a él.
Seeke the Lord and his strength: seeke his face continually.
5 Recuerden las grandes obras que ha hecho; sus maravillas y las decisiones de su boca;
Remember his marueilous woorkes, that he hath done, his wonders and the iudgements of his mouth,
6 Oh descendencia de Abraham, su siervo, hijos de Jacob, sus amados.
Ye seede of Abraham his seruant, ye children of Iaakob, which are his elect.
7 Él es el Señor nuestro Dios; él es el juez de toda la tierra.
He is the Lord our God: his iudgements are through all the earth.
8 Ha guardado para siempre su pacto, la palabra que dio por mil generaciones;
He hath alway remembred his couenant and promise, that he made to a thousand generations,
9 El acuerdo que hizo con Abraham, y su juramento a Isaac;
Euen that which he made with Abraham, and his othe vnto Izhak:
10 Y la dio a Jacob por ley, y a Israel por eterno acuerdo;
And since hath confirmed it to Iaakob for a lawe, and to Israel for an euerlasting couenant,
11 Diciendo: A ti daré la tierra de Canaán, como herencia que te toca.
Saying, Vnto thee will I giue the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance.
12 Cuando todavía eran pequeños en número, y extraños en la tierra;
Albeit they were fewe in nomber, yea, very fewe, and strangers in the land,
13 Cuando anduvieron de una nación a otra, y de un reino a otro pueblo.
And walked about from nation to nation, from one kingdome to another people,
14 Él no dejaría que nadie los hiciera mal; incluso advirtió a reyes,
Yet suffered he no man to doe them wrong, but reprooued Kings for their sakes, saying,
15 Diciendo: No pongas tu mano sobre los que han sido marcados con mi aceite santo, y no hagan mal a mis profetas.
Touche not mine anointed, and doe my Prophets no harme.
16 Y quitó toda la comida de la tierra, y la gente quedó sin pan.
Moreouer, he called a famine vpon ye land, and vtterly brake the staffe of bread.
17 Envió un hombre delante de ellos, a José, que fue dado como siervo por un precio:
But he sent a man before them: Ioseph was solde for a slaue.
18 Sus pies estaban fijos en cadenas; su cuello fue puesto en la cárcel;
They helde his feete in the stockes, and he was laide in yrons,
19 Hasta el momento en que su palabra se hizo realidad; fue probado por la palabra del Señor.
Vntill his appointed time came, and the counsell of the Lord had tryed him.
20 El rey envió hombres a quitar sus cadenas; el gobernante de la gente, que lo dejó en libertad.
The King sent and loosed him: euen the Ruler of the people deliuered him.
21 Lo hizo señor de su casa y gobernador de todo lo que tenía;
He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance,
22 Para dar a sus jefes que enseñanza a su placer, y para que sus legisladores puedan obtener la sabiduría de él.
That he shoulde binde his princes vnto his will, and teach his Ancients wisedome.
23 Entonces Israel vino a Egipto, y Jacob estaba viviendo en la tierra de Cam.
Then Israel came to Egypt, and Iaakob was a stranger in the land of Ham.
24 Y su pueblo se engrandeció grandemente, y se hizo más fuerte que los que estaban contra ellos.
And he increased his people exceedingly, and made them stronger then their oppressours.
25 Sus corazones se volvieron para odiar a su pueblo, por lo que hicieron designios secretos contra ellos.
He turned their heart to hate his people, and to deale craftily with his seruants.
26 Envió a Moisés, su siervo, y Aarón, el hombre de su elección.
Then sent he Moses his seruant, and Aaron whom he had chosen.
27 Hizo ver sus señales entre el pueblo y sus maravillas en la tierra de Cam.
They shewed among them the message of his signes, and wonders in the land of Ham.
28 Envió noche negra y oscureció; y ellos no fueron en contra de su palabra.
He sent darkenesse, and made it darke: and they were not disobedient vnto his commission.
29 Según su palabra, sus aguas se convirtieron en sangre, y él envió la muerte sobre todos sus peces.
He turned their waters into blood, and slewe their fish.
30 Su tierra estaba llena de ranas, incluso en las habitaciones del rey.
Their land brought foorth frogs, euen in their Kings chambers.
31 El dio la palabra, y vino la mosca del perro, y los insectos sobre toda la tierra.
He spake, and there came swarmes of flies and lice in all their quarters.
32 Les dio hielo para la lluvia y fuego ardiente en su tierra.
He gaue them haile for raine, and flames of fire in their land.
33 Y destruyó sus viñas y sus higueras, y destruyeron los árboles de su tierra.
He smote their vines also and their figge trees, and brake downe the trees in their coastes.
34 Por su palabra vinieron langostas, y langostas jóvenes más de las que pueden ser contadas,
He spake, and the grashoppers came, and caterpillers innumerable,
35 Y pusieron fin a todas las plantas de su tierra, y se comieron todos los frutos de la tierra.
And did eate vp all the grasse in their land, and deuoured the fruite of their ground.
36 Él mató al primer hijo de cada familia en la tierra, los primeros frutos de su fuerza.
He smote also all the first borne in their land, euen the beginning of all their strength.
37 Sacó a su pueblo con plata y oro; no había entre ellos persona débil.
He brought them forth also with siluer and golde, and there was none feeble among their tribes.
38 Egipto se alegró cuando se fueron; porque el temor de ellos había caído sobre ellos.
Egypt was glad at their departing: for the feare of them had fallen vpon them.
39 Una nube se extendía sobre ellos para cubrirse; y él envió fuego para dar luz en la noche.
He spred a cloude to be a couering, and fire to giue light in the night.
40 A petición del pueblo, envió pájaros y les dio el pan del cielo como alimento.
They asked, and he brought quailes, and he filled them with the bread of heauen.
41 Su mano hizo abrir la roca, y las aguas brotaron; descendieron por los lugares secos como un río.
He opened the rocke, and the waters flowed out, and ranne in the drye places like a riuer.
42 Porque él tuvo presente su santa palabra, y Abraham, su siervo.
For he remembred his holy promise to Abraham his seruant,
43 Y se llevó a su pueblo con alegría, los hombres de su selección con alegres gritos:
And he brought forth his people with ioy, and his chosen with gladnesse,
44 Y les dio las tierras de las naciones; y tomaron el trabajo de los pueblos por herencia;
And gaue them the lands of the heathen, and they tooke the labours of the people in possession,
45 Para que guarden sus órdenes, y sean fieles a sus leyes. Alaba al Señor.
That they might keepe his statutes, and obserue his Lawes. Prayse ye the Lord.
