Números 26
1 Después que terminó la enfermedad, el Señor dijo a Moisés y Eleazar, el hijo del sacerdote Aarón:
And it came to pass after the plague, that the LORD spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
2 Que todos los hijos de Israel sean contados por los nombres de las familias de sus padres, todos aquellos de veinte años o más que puedan ir a la guerra en Israel.
Take the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, throughout their fathers’ house, all that are able to go to war in Israel.
3 Entonces Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar les dieron la orden en las tierras bajas de Moab, junto al Jordán en Jericó, diciendo:
And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
4 Sea contado todo el pueblo de veinte años o más, como el Señor ha dado órdenes a Moisés y a los hijos de Israel que han salido de Egipto.
Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, who went forth from the land of Egypt.
5 Rubén, el primer hijo de Israel: los hijos de Rubén por sus familias: de Enoc, la familia de los enoquitas; de Falú, la familia de los faulitas.
Reuben, the eldest son of Israel: the children of Reuben; Hanoch, of whom cometh the family of the Hanochites: of Pallu, the family of the Palluites:
6 De Hezrón, la familia de los Hezronitas; de Carmi, la familia de los Carmitas.
Of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.
7 Estas son las familias de los rubenitas: su número era cuarenta y tres mil setecientos treinta.
These are the families of the Reubenites: and they that were numbered of them were forty and three thousand and seven hundred and thirty.
8 Y los hijos de Falú, Eliab.
And the sons of Pallu; Eliab.
9 Y los hijos de Eliab: Nemuel, Datán y Abiram. Estos son los mismos Datán y Abiram que tuvieron un lugar en la reunión de la gente, quienes junto con Coré hicieron un clamor contra Moisés y Aarón y contra el Señor.
And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, who were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD:
10 Y descendieron a la boca abierta de la tierra, junto con Coré, cuando la muerte lo alcanzó a él y a todos sus seguidores; en el momento en que doscientos cincuenta hombres fueron quemados en el fuego, y se convirtieron en una advertencia para los demás.
And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, when the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.
11 Pero la muerte no alcanzó a los hijos de Coré.
However the children of Korah died not.
12 Los hijos de Simeón por sus familias: de Nemuel, la familia de los nemuelitas; de Jamin, la familia de los jaminitas; de Jachin, la familia de los jachinitas:
The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites: of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites: of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites:
13 De Zera, la familia de los Zeritas; de Saúl, la familia de los Saulitas.
Of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites: of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
14 Estas son las familias de los simeonitas, veintidós mil doscientos.
These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty and two thousand and two hundred.
15 Los hijos de Gad por sus familias: de Zefón, la familia de los Zefonitas; de Hagui, la familia de los haguitas; de Suni, la familia de los Sunitas;
The children of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites: of Haggi, the family of the Haggites: of Shuni, the family of the Shunites:
16 De Ozni, la familia de los oznitas; de Eri, la familia de los Eritas;
Of Ozni, the family of the Oznites: of Eri, the family of the Erites:
17 De Arod, la familia de los aroditas; de Areli, la familia de los arelitas.

18 Estas son las familias de los hijos de Gad, como fueron contados, cuarenta mil quinientos.
These are the families of the children of Gad according to those that were numbered of them, forty thousand and five hundred.
19 Los hijos de Judá, Er y Onán. Y Er y Onán habían muerto en la tierra de Canaán.
The sons of Judah were Er and Onan: and Er and Onan died in the land of Canaan.
20 Y los hijos de Judá, por sus familias, fueron: de Sela, la familia de los salaitas; de Pérez, la familia de los habitantes de Pérez: de Zera, la familia de los zeraítas.
And the sons of Judah after their families were; of Shelah, the family of the Shelanites: of Pharez, the family of the Pharzites: of Zerah, the family of the Zarhites.
21 Y los hijos de Fares fueron de Hezrón, la familia de los Hezronitas; de Hamul, la familia de los Hamulitas.
And the sons of Pharez were; of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites: of Hamul, the family of the Hamulites.
22 Estas son las familias de Judá como fueron contadas, setenta y seis mil quinientas.
These are the families of Judah according to those that were numbered of them, seventy and six thousand and five hundred.
23 Los hijos de Isacar por sus familias: de Tola, la familia de los tolaítas; de Fúa, la familia de los funitas.
Of the sons of Issachar after their families: of Tola, the family of the Tolaites: of Pua, the family of the Punites:
24 De Jasub, la familia de los Jasubitas; de Simron, la familia de los Simronitas.
Of Jashub, the family of the Jashubites: of Shimron, the family of the Shimronites.
25 Estas son las familias de Isacar, como se contaron, sesenta y cuatro mil trescientos.
These are the families of Issachar according to those that were numbered of them, sixty and four thousand and three hundred.
26 Los hijos de Zabulón por sus familias: de Sered, la familia de los sereditas; de Elón, la familia de los elonitas: de Jahleel, la familia de los jahleelitas.
Of the sons of Zebulun after their families: of Sered, the family of the Sardites: of Elon, the family of the Elonites: of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.
27 Estas son las familias de los zebulonitas como fueron contados, sesenta mil quinientos.
These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those that were numbered of them, sixty thousand and five hundred.
28 Los hijos de José por sus familias: Manasés y Efraín.
The sons of Joseph after their families were Manasseh and Ephraim.
29 Los hijos de Manasés: de Maquir, la familia de los maquiritas; y Maquir, padre de Galaad, de Galaad, la familia de los galaaditas.
Of the sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites: and Machir begat Gilead: of Gilead come the family of the Gileadites.
30 Estos son los hijos de Galaad: de Jezer, la familia de los jezeritas; de Helec, la familia de los Helequitas;
These are the sons of Gilead: of Jeezer, the family of the Jeezerites: of Helek, the family of the Helekites:
31 Y de Asriel, la familia de los asrielitas; y de Siquem, la familia de los siquemitas;
And of Asriel, the family of the Asrielites: and of Shechem, the family of the Shechemites:
32 Y de Semida, la familia de los semidaitas; y de Hefer, la familia de los heferitas.
And of Shemida, the family of the Shemidaites: and of Hepher, the family of the Hepherites.
33 Y Zelofehad, el hijo de Hefer, no tuvo hijos, sino sólo hijas, y los nombres de las hijas de Zelofehad fueron Maala, y Noa, Hogla, Milca, y Tirsa.
And Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
34 Estas son las familias de Manasés; y los contados de ellos fueron cincuenta y dos mil setecientos.
These are the families of Manasseh, and those that were numbered of them, fifty and two thousand and seven hundred.
35 Estos son los hijos de Efraín por sus familias: de Sutela, la familia de los Sutelitas; de Bequer, la familia de los Bequeritas; de Tahán, la familia de los Tahanitas.
These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthalhites: of Becher, the family of the Bachrites: of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.
36 Y estos son los hijos de Sutela: de Eran, la familia de los Eranitas.
And these are the sons of Shuthelah: of Eran, the family of the Eranites.
37 Estas son las familias de Efraín, como fueron contadas, treinta y dos mil quinientas. Estos son los hijos de José por sus familias.
These are the families of the sons of Ephraim according to those that were numbered of them, thirty and two thousand and five hundred. These are the sons of Joseph after their families.
38 Los hijos de Benjamín por sus familias: de Bela, la familia de los Belaítas; de Asbel, la familia de los Asbelitas; de Ahiram, la familia de los Ahiramitas.
The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites: of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites: of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites:
39 De Sufam, la familia de los Sufamitas; y de Hufam, la familia de los Hufamitas.
Of Shupham, the family of the Shuphamites: of Hupham, the family of the Huphamites.
40 Y los hijos de Bela fueron Ard y Naamán: de Ard, la familia de los Arditas; de Naamán, la familia de los Naamitas.
And the sons of Bela were Ard and Naaman: of Ard, the family of the Ardites: and of Naaman, the family of the Naamites.
41 Estos son los hijos de Benjamín por sus familias, y según el censo fueron cuarenta y cinco mil seiscientos.
These are the sons of Benjamin after their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and six hundred.
42 Estos son los hijos de Dan por sus familias: de Suham, la familia de los suhamitas. Estas son las familias de Dan por sus familias.
These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.
43 Todas las familias de los suhamitas, fueron contados, sesenta y cuatro mil cuatrocientos.
All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were sixty and four thousand and four hundred.
44 Los hijos de Aser por sus familias: de Imna, la familia de los imnitas; de Isui; la familia de los isuitas; de Beria, la familia de los beriaitas.
Of the children of Asher after their families: of Jimna, the family of the Jimnites: of Jesui, the family of the Jesuites: of Beriah, the family of the Beriites.
45 De los hijos de Bería: de Heber, la familia de los heberitas; de Malquiel, la familia de los malquielitas.
Of the sons of Beriah: of Heber, the family of the Heberites: of Malchiel, the family of the Malchielites.
46 Y el nombre de la hija de Aser fue Sera.
And the name of the daughter of Asher was Sarah.
47 Estas son las familias de los hijos de Aser, así como fueron contados, cincuenta y tres mil cuatrocientos.
These are the families of the sons of Asher according to those that were numbered of them; who were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
48 Los hijos de Neftalí por sus familias: de Jahzeel, la familia de los jahzeelitas; de Guni, la familia de los gunitas;
Of the sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites: of Guni, the family of the Gunites:
49 De Jezer, la familia de los Jezeritas: de Silem, la familia de los Silemitas.
Of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites: of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.
50 Estas son las familias de Neftalí por sus familias, y contados fueron cuarenta y cinco mil cuatrocientos.
These are the families of Naphtali according to their families: and they that were numbered of them were forty and five thousand and four hundred.
51 Los contados de los hijos de Israel fueron seiscientos un mil setecientos treinta.
These were the numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred thousand and a thousand seven hundred and thirty.
52 Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
53 Que haya una división de la tierra entre estos, por su patrimonio, en relación con el número de nombres.
To these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.
54 A aquellas familias que son más numerosas, dan una mayor herencia; para aquellos que son menos en número, una parte más pequeña. Para cada uno dejar que el patrimonio se dé en relación con el número en su familia.
To many thou shalt give the more inheritance, and to few thou shalt give the less inheritance: to every one shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.
55 Pero que la distribución de la tierra se haga por suerte. Por los nombres de las tribus de sus padres, que se les dará su herencia.
However the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.
56 La repartición de la tierra se hará por suerte, que se distribuya tanto entre los que son más numerosos y los que son menos.
According to the lot shall the possession of it be divided between many and few.
57 Estos fueron los de los levitas que fueron contados por sus familias: de Gersón, la familia de los gersonitas; de Coat, la familia de los coatitas; de Merari, la familia de los meraritas.
And these are they that were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites: of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites: of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
58 Estas son las familias de Leví: la familia de los libnitas, la familia de los hebronitas, la familia de los mahlitas, la familia de los musitas, la familia de los corítas. Y Coat fue el padre de Amram.
These are the families of the Levites: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korathites. And Kohath begat Amram.
59 La esposa de Amram era Jocabed, la hija de Leví, que tuvo en Egipto. Por Amram ella tuvo a Moisés y Aarón y su hermana María.
And the name of Amram’s wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, whom her mother bore to Levi in Egypt: and she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
60 Los hijos de Aarón fueron Nadab y Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.
And to Aaron was born Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
61 La muerte superó a Nadab y Abiú cuando hicieron una ofrenda de fuego extraño ante el Señor.
And Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before the LORD.
62 De estos, veintitrés mil varones, de un mes y más, fue él total: no fueron contados con el resto de los hijos de Israel, porque no tenían herencia entre los hijos de Israel.
And those that were numbered of them were twenty and three thousand, all males from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
63 Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar hicieron este censo cuando los hijos de Israel fueron contados en las tierras bajas de Moab por el Jordán en Jericó.
These are they that were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.
64 Pero entre todos estos no había uno de los contados por Moisés y el sacerdote Aarón cuando los hijos de Israel fueron contados en el desierto del Sinaí.
But among these there was not a man of them whom Moses and Aaron the priest numbered, when they numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
65 Porque el Señor había dicho de ellos, la muerte ciertamente los alcanzará en él desierto. Y de todos ellos, solo Caleb, el hijo de Jefone, y Josué, el hijo de Nun, todavía vivían.
For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
