Isaías 14
1 Porque el Señor tendrá misericordia de Jacob, y volverá a hacer de Israel su pueblo especial, y los pondrá en su tierra; y el hombre extranjero se juntara a ellos y se unirá a la familia de Jacob.
It is niy that the tyme therof come, and the daies therof schulen not be maad fer; for whi the Lord schal haue merci of Jacob, and he schal chese yit of Israel, and schal make them for to reste on her lond; a comelyng schal be ioyned to them, and schal cleue to the house of Jacob.
2 Y el pueblo los llevará con ellos a su lugar, y los hijos de Israel les darán una herencia en la tierra del Señor como sirvientes y sirvientas, haciéndolos prisioneros de los cuales eran prisioneros; y serán gobernantes de sus amos.
And puplis schulen holde hem, and schulen brynge hem in to her place. And the hous of Israel schal haue hem in possessioun in to seruauntis and handmaidis on the lond of the Lord; and thei schulen take tho men that token hem, and thei schulen make suget her wrongful axeris.
3 Y será en el día en que el Señor te dé descanso de tu dolor, de tu angustia y del duro yugo que te habían puesto.
And it schal be in that dai, whanne God schal yyue to thee reste of thi trauel, and of thi shakyng, and of hard seruage, in which thou seruedist bifore,
4 Que recitarás esta amarga canción contra el rey de Babilonia, y dirás: ¡Cómo ha terminado el cruel tirano! Como cesó la ciudad de oro;
thou schalt take this parable ayens the kyng of Babiloyne, and thou schalt sei, Hou ceesside the wrongful axere, restide tribute?
5 La vara de los que hacen el mal, la vara de los gobernantes, es quebrantada por el Señor;
The Lord hath al to-broke the staf of wickid men, the yerde of lordis,
6 Aquel cuya vara estaba sobre los pueblos con una ira interminable, gobernando a las naciones con ira, con un gobierno incontrolado.
that beet puplis in indignacioun, with vncurable wounde, that sugetide folkis in woodnesse, that pursuede cruely.
7 Toda la tierra está en reposo y está en silencio y estalla en cantos de alegría.
Ech lond restide, and was stille; it was ioiful, and made ful out ioie.
8 Incluso los árboles del bosque se alegran sobre ti, los árboles del Líbano, diciendo: Desde el momento de tu caída, ningún cortador de madera ha subido contra nosotros con un hacha.
Also fir trees and cedris of the Liban weren glad on thee; sithen thou sleptist, noon stieth that kittith vs doun.
9 El inframundo se conmueve con tu venida, los muertos están despiertos ante ti, incluso los fuertes de la tierra. Todos los reyes del mundo se han levantado de sus asientos. (Sheol h7585)
Helle vndur thee is disturblid for the meeting of thi comyng; he schal reise giauntis to thee; alle the princes of erthe han rise fro her seetis, alle the princes of naciouns. (Sheol h7585)
10 Todos te responden y te dicen: ¿Te has vuelto débil como nosotros? ¿Has sido hecho como nosotros?
Alle thei schulen answere, and thei shulen seie to thee, And thou art woundid as and we, thou art maad lijk vs.
11 Tu orgullo ha descendido al inframundo y el ruido de tus instrumentos de música; Los gusanos están debajo de ti, y tu cuerpo está cubierto con ellos. (Sheol h7585)
Thi pride is drawun doun to hellis, thi deed careyn felle doun; a mouyte schal be strewyd vndur thee, and thin hilyng schal be wormes. (Sheol h7585)
12 ¡Qué grande es tu caída del cielo, oh lucero de la aurora, hijo de la mañana! ¿Cómo has caído a la tierra, tú que debilitabas a las naciones?
A! Lucifer, that risidist eerli, hou feldist thou doun fro heuene; thou that woundist folkis, feldist doun togidere in to erthe.
13 Porque dijiste en tu corazón: Subiré al cielo, haré mi asiento más alto que las estrellas de Dios; Tomaré mi lugar en la montaña del lugar de reunión de los dioses, en las partes más alejadas del norte.
Which seidist in thin herte, Y schal stie in to heuene, Y schal enhaunse my seete aboue the staris of heuene; Y schal sitte in the hil of testament, in the sidis of the north.
14 Subiré más alto que las nubes; Seré como el Altísimo.
Y schal stie on the hiynesse of cloudis; Y schal be lijk the hiyeste.
Netheles thou schalt be drawun doun to helle, in to the depthe of the lake. (Sheol h7585)
16 Los que te vean te estarán observando con cuidado, pensarán profundamente y dirán: ¿Es éste el perturbador de la tierra, el agitador de los reinos?
Thei that schulen se thee, schulen be bowid doun to thee, and schulen biholde thee. Whether this is the man, that disturblid erthe, that schook togidere rewmes?
17 Que hizo del mundo un desperdicio, derribando sus ciudades; Quien no dejó escapar a sus prisioneros de la cárcel.
that settide the world desert, and distried the citees therof, and openyde not the prisoun to the boundun men of hym?
18 Todos los reyes de la tierra descansan en gloria, cada uno en su sepulcro.
Alle the kyngis of hethene men, alle slepten in glorie, a man in his hous.
19 Pero tú, como un nacimiento antes de su tiempo, estás tendido sin lugar de descanso en la tierra; vestido con los cuerpos de los muertos que han sido arrojados a la espada, que descienden a las partes más bajas del inframundo; Un cuerpo muerto, aplastado bajo el pie.
But thou art cast out of thi sepulcre, as an vnprofitable stok, as defoulid with rot; and wlappid with hem that ben slayn with swerd, and yeden doun to the foundement of the lake.
20 En cuanto a tus padres, no estarás unido a ellos en su lugar de descanso, porque has sido la causa de la destrucción de tu tierra y de la muerte de tu pueblo; la semilla del malvado no tendrá lugar en la memoria del hombre.
As a rotun careyn, thou schalt not haue felouschipe, nethir with hem in sepulture, for thou hast lost thi lond, thou hast slayn the puple; the seed of the worst men schal not be clepid with outen ende.
21 Prepara un lugar de muerte para sus hijos, por el mal hecho de sus padres; para que no puedan subir y tomar la tierra por su herencia, cubriendo la faz del mundo con ciudades.
Make ye redi hise sones to sleying, for the wickidnesse of her fadris; thei schulen not rise, nether thei schulen enherite the lond, nether thei schulen fille the face of the roundenesse of citees.
22 Porque subiré contra ellos, dice el Señor de los ejércitos, cortando el nombre y la descendencia de Babilonia, el hijo y el hijo del hijo, dice el Señor.
And Y schal rise on hem, seith the Lord of oostis, and Y schal leese the name of Babyloyne, and the relifs, and generacioun, and seed, seith the Lord.
23 Y te haré una herencia para el erizo y los estanques de agua; y la barreré con la escoba de la destrucción, dice el Señor de los ejércitos.
And Y schal sette that Babiloyne in to possessioun of an irchoun, and in to mareisis of watris; and Y schal swepe it with a beesme, and Y schal stampe, seith the Lord of oostis.
24 El Señor de los Ejércitos ha hecho un juramento, diciendo: Lo que había pensado ciertamente se cumplirá, y lo que había planeado se llevará a cabo.
The Lord of oostis swoor, seiynge, Whether it schal not be so, as Y gesside, and it schal bifalle so, as Y tretide in soule?
25 Para que el asirio sea quebrantado en mi tierra, y aplastado bajo mis montañas: allí será quitado su yugo, y su gobierno sobre ellos llegará a su fin.
That Y al to-breke the kyng of Assiriens in my lond, and that Y defoule hym in myn hillis; and his yok schal be takun awei fro hem, and his birthun schal be takun awei fro the schuldur of hem.
26 Este es el propósito para toda la tierra, y esta es la mano extendida sobre todas las naciones.
This is the councel which Y thouyte on al the lond, and this is the hond stretchid forth on alle folkis.
27 Porque es el propósito del Señor de los ejércitos, y ¿quién lo hará inútil? cuando su mano está extendida, ¿por quién puede ser devuelta?
For whi the Lord of oostis hath demed, and who mai make vnstidfaste? and his hond is stretchid forth, and who schal turne it awei?
28 En el año de la muerte del rey Acaz, esta palabra llegó al profeta:
The birthun of Filisteis. In the yeer wheryne kyng Achas diede, this birthun was maad.
29 No se alegren, oh Filistea, todos ustedes, porque se quebró la vara que los oprimía; porque de la raíz de la serpiente saldrá una serpiente venenosa, y su fruto será una serpiente venenosa alada.
Al thou Filistea, be not glad, for the yerde of thi smytere is maad lesse; for whi a cocatrice schal go out of the roote of an eddre, and his seed schal soupe up a brid.
30 Y los más pobres de la tierra tendrán comida, y los necesitados tendrán un lugar de descanso seguro, pero tu simiente llegará a su fin por la necesidad de comida, y el resto de ustedes serán puestos a la espada.
And the firste gendrid of pore men schulen be fed, and pore men schulen reste feithfuli; and Y schal make thi throte to perisch in hungur, and Y schal sle thi relifs.
31 ¡Envía un clamor, oh puerta! ¡Gime de tristeza, pueblo! Desanímate, tu tierra ha quedado en nada, oh Filistea; porque sale un humo del norte, y todos mantienen su lugar en la fila.
Yelle, thou yate; cry, thou citee, al Filistea is cast doun; for whi smoke schal come fro the north, and noon is that schal ascape his oost.
32 ¿Qué respuesta dará, entonces, mi pueblo a los representantes de la nación? Que el Señor es el constructor de Sión, y ella será un lugar seguro para los pobres de su pueblo.
And what schal be answerid to the messangeris of folk? for the Lord hath foundid Sion, and the pore men of his puple schulen hope in hym.
