3 Enoc, Metusalen, Lamec;

Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech,

4 Noé, hijos de Noé: Sem, Cam y Jafet.

Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

5 Los hijos de Jafet: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javán y Tubal, Mesec y Tiras.

Sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.

6 Y los hijos de Gomer: Askenas, Rifat y Togarma.

And sons of Gomer: Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.

7 Y los hijos de Javán: Elisa, Tarsis, Quitim Rodanim.

And sons of Javan: Elisha, and Tarshishah, Kittim, and Dodanim.

8 Los hijos de Cam: Cus, Mizraim, Fut y Canaán.

Sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

9 Y los hijos de Cus: Seba, Havila, Sabta, Raama y Sabteca. Y los hijos de Raama: Seba y Dedán.

And sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecka. And sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.

10 Y Cus fue el padre de Nimrod. Fue el primero en ser un gran hombre en la tierra.

And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the land.

11 Y Mizraim fue el padre de los Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naftuhim.

And Mizraim begat the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,

12 Y los Patrusim, Casluhim y los Caftor de los cuales vinieron los filisteos.

and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim (from whom came out the Philistim), and the Caphtorim.

13 Y Canaán fue el padre de Sidón, su hijo mayor, y de Het.

And Canaan begat Zidon his first born, and Heth,

14 Y el jebuseo, amorreo, gergeseo,

and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

15 Y el Heveo, Araceo, Sineo,

and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

16 Y el Arvadeo, Zemareo, Hamateo.

and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17 Los hijos de Sem: Elam y Asur, Arfaxad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Geter, y Mesec.

Sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

18 Y Arfaxad fue el padre de Sela, y Sela a Heber.

And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

19 Heber tuvo dos hijos: el nombre de uno era Peleg, porque en sus días se hizo una división de la tierra; y el nombre de su hermano era Joctán.

And to Eber have been born two sons, the name of the one [is] Peleg, for in his days hath the land been divided, and the name of his brother is Joktan.

20 Y Joctán fue el padre de Almodad, de Selef, de Hazarmavet, y de Jera.

And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

21 Y Hadoram, Uzal y Dicla,

and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

22 Y Ebal Abimael y Seba.

and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

23 Y Ofir, Havila, Jobab. Todos estos fueron los hijos de Joctán.

and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan.

24 Sem, Arfaxad, Sela,

Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,

25 Heber, Peleg, Reu,

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

26 Serug, Nacor, Tare,

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27 Y Abram (que es Abraham).

Abram — he [is] Abraham.

28 Los hijos de Abraham: Isaac e Ismael.

Sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.

29 Estas son sus generaciones: el hijo mayor de Ismael, Nebaiot; después Cedar, Adbeel y Mibsam,

These [are] their generations: first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adheel, and Mibsam,

30 Misma y Duma, Massa, Hadad y Tema,

Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,

31 Jetur, Nafis y Cedema. Estos son los hijos de Ismael.

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedema. These are sons of Ishmael.

32 Y los hijos de Cetura, la concubina de Abraham: ella fue la madre de Zimran y Jocsan, Medán Madián, Isbac y Súa. Y los hijos de Jocsan: Seba y Dedán.

And sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.

33 E hijos de Madián: Efa, Efer, Hanoc, Abida y Elda. Todos estos fueron los hijos de Cetura.

And sons of Midian: Ephah and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah; all these [are] sons of Keturah.

34 Y Abraham fue el padre de Isaac. Los hijos de Isaac: Esaú e Israel.

And Abraham begetteth Isaac. Sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.

35 Los hijos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel y Jeus y Jalam y Coré.

Sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.

36 Los hijos de Elifaz: Temán y Omar, Zefo y Gatam, Cenaz y Timna y Amalec.

Sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

37 Los hijos de Reuel: Nahath, Zera, Sama y Miza.

Sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38 Y los hijos de Seir: Lotan, Sobal, Zibeon, Ana, Disón, Ezer y Disan.

And sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.

39 Y los hijos de Lotán: Hori, Homam; Timna era la hermana de Lotan.

And sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam, and sister of Lotan [is] Timna.

40 Los hijos de Sobal: Alván, Manahat, Ebal, Sefo y Onam. Y los hijos de Zibeón: Aja y Aná.

Sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And sons of Zideon: Aiah and Anah.

41 Los hijos de Aná: Disón. Y los hijos de Disón: Amram, Esban, Itran y Queran.

The sons of Anah: Dishon. and sons of Dishon: Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42 Los hijos de Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan y Jaakan. Los hijos de Disán: Uz y Aran.

Sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zavan, Jakan. Sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.

43 Estos son los reyes que gobernaban en la tierra de Edom, antes de que hubiera rey alguno sobre Israel: Bela, el hijo de Beor; su pueblo se llamaba Dinaba.

And these [are] the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king of the sons of Israel: Bela son of Beor, and the name of his city [is] Dinhabah.

44 A su muerte, Jobab, el hijo de Zera de Bosra, se convirtió en rey en su lugar.

And Bela dieth, and reign in his stead doth Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrali;

45 A la muerte de Jobab, Husam, de la tierra de los temanitas, se convirtió en rey en su lugar.

and Jobab dieth, and reign in his stead doth Husham from the land of the Temanite;

46 Y a la muerte de Husam, Hadad, hijo de Bedad, que venció a Madián en el campo de Moab, se convirtió en rey; su pueblo fue nombrado Avit.

and Husham dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad, son of Bedad (who smiteth Midian in the field of Moab) and the name of his city [is] Avith;

47 Y en la muerte de Hadad, Samla de Masreca se hizo rey en su lugar.

and Hadad dieth, and reign in his stead doth Samlah from Masrekah;

48 Y a la muerte de Samla, Saúl de Rehobot, junto al río, se convirtió en rey en su lugar,

and Samlah dieth, and reign in his stead doth Shaul from Rehoboth of the River;

49 Y a la muerte de Saúl, Baal-hanan, el hijo de Acbor, se hizo rey en su lugar.

and Shaul dieth, and reign in his stead doth Baal-Hanan son of Achbor;

50 Y a la muerte de Baal-hanan, Hadad se convirtió en rey en su lugar; su ciudad se llamaba Pai, y el nombre de su esposa era Mehetabel, la hija de Matred, la hija de Mezaab.

and Baal-Hanan dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad, and the name of his city [is] Pai, and the name of his wife [is] Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab; Hadad also dieth.

51 Y Hadad llegó a su fin. Ahora los jefes de Edom eran: Timna, Alva, Jetet,

And chiefs of Edom are: chief Timnah, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,

52 El jefe de Aholibama, Ela, Pinon,

chief Aholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,

53 El jefe de Cenaz, Temán, Mibzar,

chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

54 El jefe de Magdiel, Iram. Estos son los jefes de Edom.

chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These [are] chiefs of Edom.
