Salmos 86

1 Oración de David. Inclina, oh SEÑOR, tu oído, y óyeme; porque estoy pobre y menesteroso.

A Prayer by David. Hear, Yahweh, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.

2 Guarda mi alma, porque soy misericordioso; salva tú, oh Dios mío, a tu siervo que en ti confía.

Preserve my soul, for I am godly. You, my God, save your servant who trusts in you.

3 Ten misericordia de mí, oh SEÑOR; porque a ti clamo cada día.

Be merciful to me, Lord, for I call to you all day long.

4 Alegra el alma de tu siervo; porque a ti, oh Señor, levanto mi alma.

Bring joy to the soul of your servant, for to you, Lord, do I lift up my soul.

5 Porque tú, Señor, eres bueno y perdonador, y grande en misericordia para con todos los que te invocan.

For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, abundant in loving kindness to all those who call on you.

6 Escucha, oh SEÑOR, mi oración, y está atento a la voz de mis ruegos.

Hear, Yahweh, my prayer. Listen to the voice of my petitions.

7 En el día de mi angustia te llamaré; porque tú me respondes.

In the day of my trouble I will call on you, for you will answer me.

8 Oh Señor, ninguno hay como tú entre los dioses, ni hay otro que haga tus obras.

There is no one like you among the gods, Lord, nor any deeds like your deeds.

9 Todos los gentiles que hiciste vendrán y se humillarán delante de ti, Señor; y glorificarán tu Nombre.

All nations you have made will come and worship before you, Lord. They shall glorify your name.

10 Porque tú eres grande, y hacedor de maravillas; tú solo eres Dios.

For you are great, and do wondrous things. You are God alone.

11 Enséñame, oh SEÑOR, tu camino; caminaré yo en tu verdad; afirma mi corazón para que tema tu nombre.

Teach me your way, Yahweh. I will walk in your truth. Make my heart undivided to fear your name.

12 Te alabaré, oh SEÑOR Dios mío, con todo mi corazón; y glorificaré tu Nombre para siempre.

I will praise you, Lord my God, with my whole heart. I will glorify your name forever more.

13 Porque tu misericordia es grande sobre mí; y has librado mi alma del hoyo profundo. (Sheol h7585)

For your loving kindness is great toward me. You have delivered my soul from the lowest Sheol. (Sheol h7585)

14 Oh Dios, soberbios se levantaron contra mí, y conspiración de fuertes ha buscado mi alma, y no te pusieron delante de sí.

God, the proud have risen up against me. A company of violent men have sought after my soul, and they don’t hold regard for you before them.

15 Mas tú, Señor, Dios misericordioso y clemente, lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia y verdad;

But you, Lord, are a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in loving kindness and truth.

16 mira en mi, y ten misericordia de mí; da fortaleza tuya a tu siervo, y guarda al hijo de tu sierva.

Turn to me, and have mercy on me! Give your strength to your servant. Save the son of your servant.

17 Haz conmigo señal para bien, y véanla los que me aborrecen, y sean avergonzados; porque tú, SEÑOR, me ayudaste, y me consolaste.

Show me a sign of your goodness, that those who hate me may see it, and be shamed, because you, Yahweh, have helped me, and comforted me.
