Salmos 84

1 Al Vencedor: sobre Gitit: A los hijos de Coré. Salmo. ¡Cuán amables son tus moradas, oh SEÑOR de los ejércitos!

How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Yhwh of Armies!

2 Codicia y aun ardientemente desea mi alma los atrios del SEÑOR; mi corazón y mi carne cantan al Dios vivo.

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Yhwh: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God.

3 Aun el gorrión halla casa, y la golondrina nido para sí, donde ponga sus pollos en tus altares, oh SEÑOR de los ejércitos, Rey mío, y Dios mío.

Yea, the sparrow hath found an house, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, even thine altars, O Yhwh of Armies, my King, and my God.

4 Dichosos los que habitan en tu Casa; perpetuamente te alabarán (Selah)

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. (Selah)

5 Dichoso el hombre que tiene su fortaleza en ti; en cuyo corazón están tus caminos.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.

6 Cuando pasaren por el valle de Abaca lo tornarán en fuente, la lluvia también llenará las cisternas.

Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.

7 Irán en gran multitud y en orden, verán a Dios en Sion.

They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

8 SEÑOR Dios de los ejércitos, oye mi oración; escucha, oh Dios de Jacob (Selah)

O Yhwh God of Armies, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob. (Selah)

9 Mira, oh Dios, escudo nuestro, y pon los ojos en el rostro de tu Ungido.

Behold, O God our shield, and look upon the face of thine anointed.

10 Porque mejor es un día en tus atrios que mil fuera de ellos; escogí antes estar a la puerta en la Casa de mi Dios, que habitar en las moradas de maldad.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11 Porque sol y escudo nos es el SEÑOR Dios; gracia y gloria dará el SEÑOR; no quitará el bien a los que andan en integridad.

For Yhwh God is a sun and shield: Yhwh will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12 SEÑOR de los ejércitos, dichoso el hombre que confía en ti.

O Yhwh of Armies, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
