Salmos 32

1 De David: Masquil. Bienaventurado el perdonado de rebelión, el encubierto de pecado.

A Psalm of David, Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.

2 Bienaventurado el hombre a quien no contará el SEÑOR la iniquidad, y en cuyo espíritu no hay engaño.

Blessed is the man to whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.

3 Mientras callé, se envejecieron mis huesos en mi gemir todo el día.

When I kept silence, my bones became old through my roaring all the day long.

4 Porque de día y de noche se agravó sobre mí tu mano; se volvió mi verdor en sequedades de verano. (Selah)

For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. (Selah)

5 Mi pecado te declaré, y no encubrí mi iniquidad. Confesaré, dije, contra mí mis rebeliones al SEÑOR; y tú perdonarás la maldad de mi pecado. (Selah)

I acknowledged my sin to thee, and my iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)

6 Por esto orará a ti todo misericordioso en el tiempo de poder hallarte; ciertamente en la inundación de las muchas aguas no llegarán éstas a él.

For this shall every one that is godly pray to thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come near to him.

7 Tú eres mi escondedero; de la angustia me guardarás; con clamores de libertad me rodearás. (Selah)

Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt surround me with songs of deliverance. (Selah)

8 Te haré entender, y te enseñaré el camino en que andarás; sobre ti fijaré mis ojos.

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with my eye.

9 No seáis como el caballo, o como el mulo, sin entendimiento; con cabestro y con freno su boca ha de ser sujetada, porque si no, no lleguen a ti.

Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near to thee.

10 Muchos dolores para el impío; mas el que espera en el SEÑOR, lo cercará la misericordia.

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall surround him.

11 Alegraos en el SEÑOR, y gozaos, justos; y cantad todos vosotros los rectos de corazón.

Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
