5 Los hijos de Jafet: Gomer, Magog, Madai, Javán, Tubal, Mesec, y Tiras.
The sons of Japheth: Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 Los hijos de Gomer: Askenaz, Rifat, y Togarma.
And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.
7 Los hijos de Javán: Elisa, Tarsis, Quitim, y Dodanim.
And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.
8 Los hijos de Cam: Cus, Mizraim, Fut, y Canaán.
The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 Los hijos de Cus: Seba, Havila, Sabta, Raama, y Sabteca. Y los hijos de Raama: Seba y Dedán.
And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.
10 Cus engendró a Nimrod; éste comenzó a ser poderoso en la tierra.
And Cush begat Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.
11 Mizraim engendró a Ludim, Anamim, Lehabim, Naftuhim,
And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 Patrusim y Casluhim; de éstos salieron los filisteos, y los caftoreos.
and Pathrusim, and Casluhim (from whence came the Philistines), and Caphtorim.
13 Canaán engendró a Sidón, su primogénito;
And Canaan begat Sidon his first-born, and Heth,
14 y al heteo, y al jebuseo, y al amorreo, y al gergeseo;
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 y al heveo, y al araceo, y al sineo;
and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16 al arvadeo, y al zemareo, y al hamateo.
and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 Los hijos de Sem: Elam, Asur, Arfaxad, Lud, Aram, Uz, Hul, Geter, y Mesec.
The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Arfaxad engendró a Sela, y Sela engendró a Heber.
And Arpachshad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
19 Y a Heber nacieron dos hijos; el nombre del uno fue Peleg, por cuanto en sus días fue dividida la tierra; y el nombre de su hermano fue Joctán.
And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother’s name was Joktan.
20 Y Joctán engendró a Almodad, Selef, Hazarmavet, Jera,
And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21 Adoram, Uzal, Dicla,
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 Ebal, Abimael, Seba,
and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 Ofir, Havila, y Jobab: todos hijos de Joctán.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 Sem, Arfaxad, Sela,
Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
25 Heber, Peleg, Reu,
Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 Serug, Nacor, Taré,
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 y Abram, el cual es Abraham.

28 Los hijos de Abraham: Isaac e Ismael.
The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael.
29 Y estas son sus descendencias: el primogénito de Ismael, Nebaiot; después Cedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,
These are their generations: the first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,
30 Misma, Duma, Massa, Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Nafis, y Cedema. Estos son los hijos de Ismael.
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 Y Cetura, concubina de Abraham, dio a luz a Zimram, Jocsán, Medán, Madián, Isbac, y a Súa.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32 Los hijos de Jocsán: Seba y Dedán.
And the sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.
33 Los hijos de Madián: Efa, Efer, Hanoc, Abida, y Elda; todos estos fueron hijos de Cetura.
And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
34 Y Abraham engendró a Isaac; y los hijos de Isaac fueron Esaú e Israel.
And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.
35 Los hijos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jaalam, y Coré.
The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.
36 Los hijos de Elifaz: Temán, Omar, Zefo, Gatam, Cenaz, Timna, y Amalec.
The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 Los hijos de Reuel: Nahat, Zera, Sama, y Miza.
The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 Los hijos de Seir: Lotán, Sobal, Zibeón, Aná, Disón, Ezer, y Disán.
And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 Los hijos de Lotán: Hori, y Homam; y Timna fue hermana de Lotán.
And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan’s sister.
40 Los hijos de Sobal: Alván, Manahat, Ebal, Sefo y Onam. Los hijos de Zibeón: Aja, y Aná.
The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.
41 Disón fue hijo de Aná. Los hijos de Disón: Amram, Esbán, Itrán y Querán.
The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 Los hijos de Ezer: Bilhán, Zaaván, y Jaacán. Los hijos de Disán: Uz y Arán.
The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.
43 Y estos son los reyes que reinaron en la tierra de Edom, antes que reinase rey sobre los hijos de Israel. Bela, hijo de Beor; y el nombre de su ciudad fue Dinaba.
Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44 Y muerto Bela, reinó en su lugar Jobab, hijo de Zera, de Bosra.
And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 Y muerto Jobab reinó en su lugar Husam, de la tierra de los temanitas.
And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 Muerto Husam, reinó en su lugar Hadad, hijo de Bedad, el cual hirió a Madián en la campaña de Moab; y el nombre de su ciudad fue Avit.
And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.
47 Muerto Adad, reinó en su lugar Samla, de Masreca.
And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48 Muerto también Samla, reinó en su lugar Saúl de Rehobot, que está junto al río.
And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.
49 Y muerto Saúl, reinó en su lugar Baal-hanán, hijo de Acbor.
And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 Y muerto Baal-hanán, reinó en su lugar Hadad. El nombre de su ciudad fue Pai; y el nombre de su mujer Mehetabel, hija de Matred, y ésta hija de Mezaab.
And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pai: and his wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
51 Muerto Hadad, sucedieron los duques en Edom; el duque Timna, el duque Alva, el duque Jetet,
And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,
52 el duque Aholibama, el duque Ela, el duque Pinón,
chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
53 el duque Cenaz, el duque Temán, el duque Mibzar,
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
54 el duque Magdiel, y el duque Iram. Estos fueron los duques de Edom.
chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
