Salmos 122

1 Cántico gradual: de David. YO me alegré con los que me decían: A la casa de Jehová iremos.

A Song of Ascents; of David. I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go unto the house of the LORD.

2 Nuestros pies estuvieron en tus puertas, oh Jerusalem;

Our feet are standing within thy gates, O Jerusalem;

3 Jerusalem, que se ha edificado como una ciudad que está bien unida entre sí.

Jerusalem, that art builded as a city that is compact together:

4 Y allá subieron las tribus, las tribus de JAH, [conforme] al testimonio [dado] á Israel, para alabar el nombre de Jehová.

Whither the tribes go up, even the tribes of the LORD [for] a testimony unto Israel, to give thanks into the name of the LORD.

5 Porque allá están las sillas del juicio, las sillas de la casa de David.

For there are set thrones for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.

6 Pedid la paz de Jerusalem: sean prosperados los que te aman.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

7 Haya paz en tu antemuro, [y] descanso en tus palacios.

Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces.

8 Por amor de mis hermanos y mis compañeros hablaré ahora paz de ti.

For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee.

9 A causa de la casa de Jehová nuestro Dios, buscaré bien para ti.

For the sake of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.
