Nehemías 7
1 Y LUEGO que el muro fué edificado, y asenté las puertas, y fueron señalados porteros y cantores y Levitas,
Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 Mandé á mi hermano Hanani, y á Hananías, príncipe del palacio de Jerusalem, (porque era éste, como varón de verdad y temeroso de Dios, sobre muchos; )
That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he [was] a faithful man, and feared God above many.
3 Y díjeles: No se abran las puertas de Jerusalem hasta que caliente el sol: y aun ellos presentes, cierren las puertas, y atrancad. Y señalé guardas de los moradores de Jerusalem, cada cual en su guardia, y cada uno delante de su casa.
And I said to them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun shall be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar [them]: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one [to be] over against his house.
4 Y la ciudad era espaciosa y grande, pero poco pueblo dentro de ella, y no había casas reedificadas.
Now the city [was] large and great: but the people in it [were] few, and the houses [were] not built.
5 Y puso Dios en mi corazón que juntase los principales, y los magistrados, y el pueblo, para que fuesen empadronados por el orden de sus linajes: y hallé el libro de la genealogía de los que habían subido antes, y encontré en él escrito:
And my God put into my heart to assemble the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them who came up at the first, and found written in it,
6 Estos son los hijos de la provincia que subieron de la cautividad, de la transmigración que hizo pasar Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia, y que volvieron á Jerusalem y á Judá cada uno á su ciudad;
These [are] the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one to his city;
7 Los cuales vinieron con Zorobabel, Jesuá, Nehemías, Azarías, Raamías, Nahamani, Mardochêo, Bilsán, Misperet, Bigvai, Nehum, Baana. La cuenta de los varones del pueblo de Israel:
Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, [I say], of the men of the people of Israel [was this];
8 Los hijos de Paros, dos mil ciento setenta y dos;
The children of Parosh, two thousand a hundred and seventy two.
9 Los hijos de Sephatías, trescientos setenta y dos;
The children of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy two.
10 Los hijos de Ara, seiscientos cincuenta y dos;
The children of Arah, six hundred and fifty two.
11 Los hijos de Pahath-moab, de los hijos de Jesuá y de Joab, dos mil ochocientos dieciocho;
The children of Pahath-moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred [and] eighteen.
12 Los hijos de Elam, mil doscientos cincuenta y cuatro;
The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty four.
13 Los hijos de Zattu, ochocientos cuarenta y cinco;
The children of Zattu, eight hundred and forty five.
14 Los hijos de Zachâi, setecientos y sesenta;
The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.
15 Los hijos de Binnui, seiscientos cuarenta y ocho;
The children of Binnui, six hundred and forty eight.
16 Los hijos de Bebai, seiscientos veintiocho;
The children of Bebai, six hundred and twenty eight.
17 Los hijos de Azgad, dos mil seiscientos veintidós;
The children of Azgad, two thousand three hundred and twenty two.
18 Los hijos de Adonicam, seiscientos sesenta y siete;
The children of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty seven.
19 Los hijos de Bigvai, dos mil sesenta y siete;
The children of Bigvai, two thousand and sixty seven.
20 Los hijos de Addin, seiscientos cincuenta y cinco;
The children of Adin, six hundred and fifty five.
21 Los hijos de Ater, de Ezechîas, noventa y ocho;
The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety eight.
22 Los hijos de Hasum, trescientos veintiocho;
The children of Hashum, three hundred and twenty eight.
23 Los hijos de Besai, trescientos veinticuatro;
The children of Bezai, three hundred and twenty four.
24 Los hijos de Hariph, ciento doce;
The children of Hariph, a hundred and twelve.
25 Los hijos de Gabaón, noventa y cinco;
The children of Gibeon, ninety five.
26 Los varones de Beth-lehem y de Netopha, ciento ochenta y ocho;
The men of Beth-lehem and Netophah, a hundred and eighty eight.
27 Los varones de Anathoth, ciento veintiocho;
The men of Anathoth, a hundred and twenty eight.
28 Los varones de Beth-azmaveth, cuarenta y dos;
The men of Beth-azmaveth, forty two.
29 Los varones de Chîriath-jearim, Chephira y Beeroth, setecientos cuarenta y tres;
The men of Kirjath-jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty three.
30 Los varones de Rama y de Gebaa, seiscientos veintiuno;
The men of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred and twenty one.
31 Los varones de Michmas, ciento veintidós;
The men of Michmas, a hundred and twenty two.
32 Los varones de Beth-el y de Ai, ciento veintitrés;
The men of Beth-el and Ai, a hundred and twenty three.
33 Los varones de la otra Nebo, cincuenta y dos;
The men of the other Nebo, fifty two.
34 Los hijos de la otra Elam, mil doscientos cincuenta y cuatro;
The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty four.
35 Los hijos de Harim, trescientos y veinte;
The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.
36 Los hijos de Jericó, trescientos cuarenta y cinco;
The children of Jericho, three hundred and forty five.
37 Los hijos de Lod, de Hadid, y Ono, setecientos veintiuno;
The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred and twenty one.
38 Los hijos de Senaa, tres mil novecientos y treinta.
The children of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred and thirty.
39 Sacerdotes: los hijos de Jedaías, de la casa de Jesuá, novecientos setenta y tres;
The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred and seventy three.
40 Los hijos de Immer, mil cincuenta y dos;
The children of Immer, a thousand and fifty two.
41 Los hijos de Pashur, mil doscientos cuarenta y siete;
The children of Pashur, a thousand two hundred and forty seven.
42 Los hijos de Harim, mil diez y siete.
The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.
43 Levitas: los hijos de Jesuá, de Cadmiel, de los hijos de Odevía, setenta y cuatro.
The Levites: the children of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, [and] of the children of Hodevah, seventy four.
44 Cantores: los hijos de Asaph, ciento cuarenta y ocho.
The singers: the children of Asaph, a hundred and forty eight.
45 Porteros: los hijos de Sallum, los hijos de Ater, los hijos de Talmón, los hijos de Accub, los hijos de Hatita, los hijos de Sobai, ciento treinta y ocho.
The porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, a hundred and thirty eight.
46 Nethineos: los hijos de Siha, los hijos de Hasupha, los hijos de Thabaoth,
The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hashupha, the children of Tabbaoth,
47 Los hijos de Chêros, los hijos de Siaa, los hijos de Phadón,
The children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon,
48 Los hijos de Lebana, los hijos de Hagaba, los hijos de Salmai,
The children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Shalmai,
49 Los hijos de Hanán, los hijos de Giddel, los hijos de Gahar,
The children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,
50 Los hijos de Rehaía, los hijos de Resín, los hijos de Necoda,
The children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,
51 Los hijos de Gazzam, los hijos de Uzza, los hijos de Phasea,
The children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah,
52 Los hijos de Besai, los hijos de Meunim, los hijos de Nephisesim,
The children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim,
53 Los hijos de Bacbuc, los hijos de Hacupha, los hijos de Harhur,
The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,
54 Los hijos de Baslith, los hijos de Mehida, los hijos de Harsa,
The children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
55 Los hijos de Barcos, los hijos de Sísera, los hijos de Tema,
The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Tamah,
56 Los hijos de Nesía, los hijos de Hatipha.
The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
57 Los hijos de los siervos de Salomón: los hijos de Sotai, los hijos de Sophereth, los hijos de Perida,
The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58 Los hijos de Jahala, los hijos de Darcón, los hijos de Giddel,
The children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59 Los hijos de Sephatías, los hijos de Hattil, los hijos de Pochêreth-hassebaim, los hijos de Amón.
The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Amon.
60 Todos los Nethineos, é hijos de los siervos de Salomón, trescientos noventa y dos.
All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, [were] three hundred and ninety two.
61 Y estos son los que subieron de Telmelah, Tel-harsa, Chêrub, Addón, é Immer, los cuales no pudieron mostrar la casa de sus padres, ni su linaje, si eran de Israel:
And these [were] they who went up [also] from Tel-mela, Tel-haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not show their fathers house, nor their seed, whether they [were] of Israel.
62 Los hijos de Delaía, los hijos de Tobías, los hijos de Necoda, seiscientos cuarenta y dos.
The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and forty two.
63 Y de los sacerdotes: los hijos de Habaías, los hijos de Cos, los hijos de Barzillai, el cual tomó mujer de las hijas de Barzillai Galaadita, y se llamó del nombre de ellas.
And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, who took [one] of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite for a wife, and was called after their name.
64 Estos buscaron su registro de genealogías, y no se halló; y fueron echados del sacerdocio.
These sought their register [among] those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
65 Y díjoles el Tirsatha que no comiesen de las cosas más santas, hasta que hubiese sacerdote con Urim y Thummim.
And the Tirshatha said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand [up] a priest with Urim and Thummim.
66 La congregación toda junta era [de] cuarenta y dos mil trescientos y sesenta,
The whole congregation together [was] forty two thousand three hundred and sixty.
67 Sin sus siervos y siervas, que eran siete mil trescientos treinta y siete; y entre ellos había doscientos cuarenta y cinco cantores y cantoras.
Besides their man-servants and their maid-servants, of whom [there were] seven thousand three hundred and thirty seven: and they had two hundred and forty five singing-men and singing-women.
68 Sus caballos, setecientos treinta y seis; sus mulos, doscientos cuarenta y cinco;
Their horses, seven hundred and thirty six: their mules, two hundred and forty five:
69 Camellos, cuatrocientos treinta y cinco; asnos, seis mil setecientos y veinte.
[Their] camels, four hundred and thirty five: six thousand seven hundred and twenty asses.
70 Y algunos de los príncipes de las familias dieron para la obra. El Tirsatha dió para el tesoro mil dracmas de oro, cincuenta tazones, y quinientas treinta vestiduras sacerdotales.
And some of the chief of the fathers gave to the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand drams of gold, fifty basins, five hundred and thirty priests' garments.
71 Y de los príncipes de las familias dieron para el tesoro de la obra, veinte mil dracmas de oro, y dos mil y doscientas libras de plata.
And [some] of the chief of the fathers gave to the treasure of the work, twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pounds of silver.
72 Y lo que dió el resto del pueblo fué veinte mil dracmas de oro, y dos mil libras de plata, y sesenta y siete vestiduras sacerdotales.
And [that] which the rest of the people gave [was] twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty seven priests' garments.
73 Y habitaron los sacerdotes y los Levitas, y los porteros, y los cantores, y los del pueblo, y los Nethineos, y todo Israel, en sus ciudades. Y venido el mes séptimo, los hijos de Israel estaban en sus ciudades.
So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel [were] in their cities.
