Zacarías 4

1 Y volvió el ángel que hablaba conmigo, y despertóme, como un hombre que es despertado de su sueño,

And the angel that spoke with me returned, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep.

2 Y díjome: ¿Qué ves? Y respondí: Ví, y he aquí un candelero todo de oro, y su bacía, sobre su cabeza, y sus siete lámparas sobre él, siete; y las lámparas que están sobre su cabeza, tienen siete vasos.

And he said unto me: 'What seest thou?' And I said: 'I have seen, and behold a candlestick all of gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and its seven lamps thereon; there are seven pipes, yea, seven, to the lamps, which are upon the top thereof;

3 Y dos olivas están sobre él, la una a la mano derecha de la bacía, y la otra a su mano izquierda.

and two olive-trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl, and the other upon the left side thereof.'

4 Y hablé, y dije a aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo, diciendo: ¿Qué es esto, señor mío?

And I answered and spoke to the angel that spoke with me, saying: 'What are these, my lord?'

5 Y aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo, respondió, y díjome: ¿No sabes que es esto? Y dije: No, señor mío.

Then the angel that spoke with me answered and said unto me: 'Knowest thou not what these are?' And I said: 'No, my lord.'

6 Entonces respondió, y me habló, diciendo: Esta es palabra de Jehová a Zorobabel en que se dice: No con ejército, ni con fuerza: mas con mi Espíritu, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos.

Then he answered and spoke unto me, saying: 'This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying: Not by might, nor by power, but by My spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

7 ¿Quién eres tú, o! gran monte, delante de Zorobabel? en llanura. El sacará la primera piedra con algazaras: Gracia, gracia a ella.

Who art thou, O great mountain before Zerubbabel? thou shalt become a plain; and he shall bring forth the top stone with shoutings of Grace, grace, unto it.'

8 Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying:

9 Las manos de Zorobabel echarán el fundamento a esta casa, y sus manos la acabarán; y conocerás que Jehová de los ejércitos me envió a vosotros.

'The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

10 Porque los que menospreciaron el día de los pequeños principios, se alegrarán, y verán la piedra de estaño en la mano de Zorobabel. Aquellas siete son los ojos de Jehová extendidos por toda la tierra.

For who hath despised the day of small things? even they shall see with joy the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel, even these seven, which are the eyes of the LORD, that run to and fro through the whole earth.'

11 Hablé más, y díjele: ¿Qué significan estas dos olivas a la mano derecha del candelero, y a su mano izquierda?

Then answered I, and said unto him: 'What are these two olive-trees upon the right side of the candlestick and upon the left side thereof?'

12 Y hablé la segunda vez, y le dije: ¿Qué significan las dos ramas de olivas que están en los vasos de oro, que revierten de sí oro?

And I answered the second time, and said unto him: 'What are these two olive branches, which are beside the two golden spouts, that empty the golden oil out of themselves?'

13 Y respondióme, diciendo: ¿No sabes qué es esto? Y dije: Señor mío, no.

And he answered me and said: 'Knowest thou not what these are?' And I said: 'No, my lord.'

14 Y él dijo: Estos dos hijos de aceite son los que están delante del Señor de toda la tierra.

Then said he: 'These are the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.'
