Romanos 8
1 Así que ahora, ninguna condenación hay para los que están en Cristo Jesús, los que no andan conforme a la carne, sino conforme al Espíritu.
Now then there is no condemnation to them that are in Christ Iesus, which walke not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 Porque la ley del Espíritu de vida en Cristo Jesús me ha librado de la ley del pecado y de la muerte.
For the Lawe of the Spirite of life, which is in Christ Iesus, hath freed mee from the lawe of sinne and of death.
3 Porque lo que era imposible a la ley, en cuanto era débil por la carne, Dios enviando a su Hijo en semejanza de la carne del pecado, y por pecado, condenó al pecado en la carne;
For (that that was impossible to ye Lawe, in as much as it was weake, because of ye flesh) God sending his owne Sonne, in ye similitude of sinful flesh, and for sinne, condened sinne in the flesh,
4 Para que la justicia de la ley fuese cumplida en nosotros, que no andamos conforme a la carne, sino conforme al Espíritu.
That that righteousnes of the Law might be fulfilled in vs, which walke not after ye flesh, but after the Spirit.
5 Porque los que son según la carne, piensan en las cosas que son de la carne; mas los que son según el Espíritu, en las cosas que son del Espíritu.
For they that are after the flesh, sauour the things of the flesh: but they that are after the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 Porque el ánimo carnal es muerte; mas el ánimo espiritual, vida y paz;
For the wisedome of the flesh is death: but the wisedome of the Spirit is life and peace,
7 Por cuanto el ánimo carnal es enemistad contra Dios; porque no se sujeta a la ley de Dios, ni tan tampoco puede.
Because the wisedome of the flesh is enimitie against God: for it is not subiect to the Lawe of God, neither in deede can be.
8 Así que, los que son según la carne, no pueden agradar a Dios.
So then they that are in the flesh, can not please God.
9 Mas vosotros no sois según la carne, sino según el Espíritu: si es que el Espíritu de Dios mora en vosotros. Y si alguno no tiene el Espíritu de Cristo, el tal no es de él.
Now ye are not in the flesh, but in ye Spirit, because ye spirit of God dwelleth in you: but if any man hath not ye Spirit of Christ, ye same is not his.
10 Empero si Cristo es en vosotros, el cuerpo a la verdad está muerto a causa del pecado; mas el Espíritu vive a causa de la justicia.
And if Christ bee in you, the body is dead, because of sinne: but the Spirite is life for righteousnesse sake.
11 Y si el Espíritu de aquel que levantó de los muertos a Jesús, mora en vosotros, el que levantó a Cristo de los muertos, vivificará también vuestros cuerpos mortales por su Espíritu que mora en vosotros.
But if the Spirit of him that raised vp Iesus from the dead, dwell in you, he that raised vp Christ from the dead, shall also quicken your mortall bodies, by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
12 Así que, hermanos, deudores somos, no a la carne para que vivamos conforme a la carne.
Therefore brethren, wee are detters not to the flesh, to liue after the flesh:
13 Porque si viviereis conforme a la carne, moriréis; mas si por el Espíritu mortificareis las obras de la carne, viviréis.
For if ye liue after the flesh, ye shall die: but if yee mortifie the deedes of the body by the Spirit, ye shall liue.
14 Porque todos los que son guiados por el Espíritu de Dios, los tales son hijos de Dios.
For as many as are ledde by the Spirit of God, they are the sonnes of God.
15 Porque no habéis recibido el espíritu de servidumbre para estar otra vez en temor; mas habéis recibido el Espíritu de adopción, por el cual clamamos: Abba, Padre.
For ye haue not receiued the Spirit of bodage, to feare againe: but ye haue receiued the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry Abba, Father.
16 Porque el mismo Espíritu da testimonio a nuestro espíritu que somos hijos de Dios.
The same Spirit beareth witnesse with our spirit, that we are the children of God.
17 Y si hijos, también herederos: herederos de Dios, y coherederos con Cristo: si empero padecemos juntamente con él, para que juntamente con él seamos también glorificados.
If we be children, we are also heires, euen the heires of God, and heires annexed with Christ: if so be that we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified with him.
18 Porque yo juzgo, que lo que en este tiempo se padece, no es digno de compararse con la gloria venidera que en nosotros ha de ser manifestada.
For I count that the afflictions of this present time are not worthy of the glory, which shalbe shewed vnto vs.
19 Porque el continuo atalayar de la criatura espera la manifestación de los hijos de Dios;
For the feruent desire of the creature waiteth when the sonnes of God shalbe reueiled,
20 Porque la criatura fue sujetada a vanidad, no de su voluntad, sino por causa de aquel que la sujetó con esperanza.
Because the creature is subiect to vanitie, not of it owne will, but by reason of him, which hath subdued it vnder hope,
21 De que también la misma criatura será librada de la servidumbre de corrupción, en la libertad gloriosa de los hijos de Dios.
Because the creature also shall be deliuered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious libertie of the sonnes of God.
22 Porque ya sabemos, que toda la creación gime a una, y a una está en dolores de parto hasta ahora.
For we knowe that euery creature groneth with vs also, and trauaileth in paine together vnto this present.
23 Y no solo ella, mas también nosotros mismos que tenemos las primicias del Espíritu, nosotros también gemimos dentro de nosotros mismos, esperando la adopción, es a saber, la redención de nuestro cuerpo.
And not onely the creature, but we also which haue the first fruites of the Spirit, euen we doe sigh in our selues, waiting for the adoption, euen the redemption of our body.
24 Porque en esperanza somos salvos: empero la esperanza que se ve, no es esperanza; porque lo que alguno ve, ¿cómo aun lo espera?
For we are saued by hope: but hope that is seene, is not hope: for how can a man hope for that which he seeth?
25 Mas si lo que no vemos esperamos, por paciencia lo esperamos.
But if we hope for that we see not, we doe with patience abide for it.
26 Y asimismo también el Espíritu a una ayuda nuestra flaqueza; porque no sabemos lo que hemos de pedir como conviene; mas el mismo Espíritu intercede por nosotros con gemidos indecibles.
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we knowe not what to pray as wee ought: but the Spirit it selfe maketh request for vs with sighs, which cannot be expressed.
27 Mas el que escudriña los corazones, sabe cual es el deseo del Espíritu, porque conforme a la voluntad de Dios intercede por los santos.
But he that searcheth the heartes, knoweth what is the meaning of the Spirit: for he maketh request for ye Saints, according to the wil of God.
28 Y sabemos, que todas las cosas obran juntamente para el bien de los que a Dios aman, es a saber, a los que conforme a su propósito son llamados.
Also we knowe that all thinges worke together for the best vnto them that loue God, euen to them that are called of his purpose.
29 Porque a los que antes conoció, también predestinó para que fuesen hechos conformes a la imagen de su Hijo, para que él sea el primogénito entre muchos hermanos.
For those which hee knewe before, he also predestinate to bee made like to the image of his Sonne, that hee might be the first borne among many brethren.
30 Y a los que predestinó, a estos también llamó; y a los que llamó, a estos también justificó; y a los que justificó, a estos también glorificó.
Moreouer whom he predestinate, them also he called, and whom he called, them also he iustified, and whom he iustified, them he also glorified.
31 ¿Qué, pues, diremos a estas cosas? Si Dios es por nosotros, ¿quién será contra nosotros?
What shall we then say to these thinges? If God be on our side, who can be against vs?
32 El que aun a su propio Hijo no perdonó, antes le entregó por todos nosotros, ¿cómo no nos ha de dar también con él gratuitamente todas las cosas?
Who spared not his owne Sonne, but gaue him for vs all to death, how shall he not with him giue vs all things also?
33 ¿Quién acusará contra los escogidos de Dios? Dios es el que los justifica.
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of Gods chosen? it is God that iustifieth,
34 ¿Quién es el que los condena? Cristo es el que murió: antes el que también resucitó, el que también está a la diestra de Dios, el que también demanda por nosotros.
Who shall condemne? it is Christ which is dead, yea, or rather, which is risen againe, who is also at the right hand of God, and maketh request also for vs.
35 ¿Quién nos apartará del amor de Cristo? ¿Tribulación? ¿o angustia? ¿o persecución? ¿o hambre? ¿o desnudez? ¿o peligro? ¿o espada?
Who shall separate vs from the loue of Christ? shall tribulation or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakednesse, or perill, or sworde?
36 (Como está escrito: Por causa de ti somos muertos todos los días: somos estimados como ovejas para el matadero: )
As it is written, For thy sake are we killed all day long: we are counted as sheepe for the slaughter.
37 Antes en todas estas cosas vencemos, y aun más, por aquel que nos amó.
Neuerthelesse, in all these thinges we are more then coquerours through him that loued vs.
38 Por que estoy cierto que ni la muerte, ni la vida, ni ángeles, ni principados, ni potestades, ni lo presente, ni lo por venir,
For I am perswaded that neither death, nor life, nor Angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
39 Ni lo alto, ni lo bajo, ni ninguna otra criatura nos podrá apartar del amor de Dios, que es en Cristo Jesús, Señor nuestro.
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature shalbe able to separate vs from the loue of God, which is in Christ Iesus our Lord.
