Apocalipsis 2
1 Escribe al ángel de la iglesia de Efeso: El que tiene las siete estrellas en su diestra, el cual anda en medio de los siete candelabros de oro, dice estas cosas:
Unto the messenger of the congregacion of Ephesus wryte: These thynges sayth he that holdeth the vii. starres in his right honde and walketh in the myddes of the vii. golden candlestyckes
2 Yo sé tus obras, y tu trabajo, y tu paciencia, y que tú no puedes sufrir los malos, y has probado a los que se dicen ser apóstoles, y no lo son, y los has hallado mentirosos.
I knowe thy workes and thy labour and thy pacience and howe thou cannest not forbeare the which are evyll: and examinedst them which saye they are Apostles and are not: and hast founde them lyars
3 Y has sufrido, y sufres, y has trabajado por causa de mi nombre, y no has desfallecido.
and dydest wasshe thy self. And hast pacience: and for my names sake hast labored and hast not faynted.
4 Pero tengo algo contra ti, porque has dejado tu primer amor.
Neverthelesse I have sumwhat agaynst the for thou haste lefte thy fyrst love.
5 Por lo cual ten memoria de donde has caído, y arrepiéntete, y haz las primeras obras; si no, vendré a ti prestamente, y quitaré tu candelabro de su lugar, si no te arrepintieres.
Remember therfore from whence thou art fallen and repent and do the fyrst workes. Or elles I wyll come vnto the shortly and will remove thy candlestyke out of his place excepte thou repent.
6 Empero tienes esto, que aborreces los hechos de los Nicolaitas, los cuales yo también aborrezco.
But this thou haste because thou hatest ye dedes of the Nicolaitans which dedes I also hate.
7 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: Al que venciere, daré a comer del árbol de la vida, el cual está en medio del paraíso de Dios.
Lett him yt hath eares heare what ye sprete sayth vnto the congregacions. To him that overcometh will I geve to eate of the tree of lyfe which is in the myddes of ye paradice of god.
8 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia de Esmirna: El primero y el postrero, que fue muerto, y vive, dice estas cosas:
And vnto the angell of the congregacion of Smyrna wryte: These thynges sayth he that is fyrst and the laste which was deed and is alive.
9 Yo sé tus obras, y tu tribulación, y tu pobreza, (pero tú eres rico, ) y sé la blasfemia de los que se dicen ser Judíos, y no lo son, sino que son la sinagoga de Satanás.
I knowe thy workes and tribulacion and poverte but thou art ryche: And I knowe the blaspemy of them whiche call them selves Iewes and are not: but are the congregacio of sathan.
10 No tengas ningún temor de las cosas que has de padecer. He aquí, el diablo ha de arrojar algunos de vosotros a la cárcel, para que seáis probados; y tendréis tribulación de diez días. Sé fiel hasta la muerte, y yo te daré la corona de la vida.
Feare none of thoo thynges which thou shalt soffre. Beholde the devyll shall caste of you into preson to tempte you and ye shall have tribulacion. x. dayes. Be faythfull vnto the deeth and I will geve the a croune of lyfe.
11 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: El que venciere, no será dañado de la segunda muerte.
Let him that hath ears heare what the sprete sayth to the congregacions: He that overcometh shall not be hurte of the seconde deeth.
12 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia que está en Pergamo: El que tiene la espada afilada de dos filos, dice estas cosas:
And to the messenger of the congregacion in Pergamos wryte: This sayth he which hath ye sharpe swearde with two edges.
13 Yo sé tus obras, y donde moras, que es en donde está la silla de Satanás; y tienes mi nombre, y no has negado mi fe, aun en los días en que fue Antipas mi testigo fiel, el cual ha sido muerto entre vosotros, donde Satanás mora.
I knowe thy workes and where thow dwellest evyn where Sathans seat ys and thou kepest my name and hast not denyed my fayth. And in my dayes Antipas was a faythfull witnes of myne which was slayne amonge you where sathan dwelleth.
14 Pero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti; porque tú tienes ahí los que tienen la doctrina de Balaam, el cual enseñaba a Balaac a poner escándalo delante de los hijos de Israel, a comer de cosas sacrificadas a los ídolos, y a cometer fornicación.
But I have a fewe thynges agaynst the: yt thou hast there they that mayntayne the doctryne of Balam which taught in balake to put occasion of syn before the chylderne of Israhell that they shulde eate of meate dedicat vnto ydoles and to commyt fornicacion.
15 Así también tú tienes a los que tienen la doctrina de los Nicolaitas, lo cual yo aborrezco.
Even so hast thou them that mayntayne the doctryne of the Nicolaytans which thynge I hate.
16 Arrepiéntete; porque de otra manera vendré a ti prestamente, y pelearé contra ellos con la espada de mi boca.
But be converted or elles I will come vnto the shortly and will fyght agaynste the with thes wearde of my mouth
17 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias: Al que venciere, daré a comer del maná escondido, y le daré una piedrecita blanca, y en la piedrecita un nombre nuevo escrito, el cual ninguno conoce, sino aquel que lo recibe.
Lett him that hath eares heare what the sprete sayth vnto the congregacios: To him that overcommeth will I geve to eate manna that is hyd and will geve him a whyte stone and in the stone a newe name wrytten which no ma knoweth savinge he that receaveth it.
18 Y escribe al ángel de la iglesia que está en Tiatira: El Hijo de Dios que tiene sus ojos como llama de fuego, y sus pies semejantes al latón fino, dice estas cosas:
And vnto the messenger of the congregacion of Theatira write: This sayth the sonne of god which hath his eyes lyke vnto a flame of fyre whose fete are like brasse:
19 Yo he conocido tus obras, y caridad, y servicio, y fe, y tu paciencia, y tus obras; y las postreras, que son muchas más que las primeras.
I knowe thy workes and thy love service and fayth and thy paciece and thy dedes which are mo at the last then at the fyrste.
20 Empero tengo unas pocas cosas contra ti: que permites a Jezabel mujer (que se dice profetisa) enseñar, y seducir a mis siervos, a fornicar, y a comer cosas ofrecidas a los ídolos.
Notwitstondinge I have a feawe thynges agaynst the that thou sofferest that woman Iesabell which called her sylfe a prophetes to teache and to deceave my servauntes to make them commyt fornicacion and to eate meates offered vppe vnto ydoles.
21 Y le he dado tiempo para que se arrepienta de su fornicación, y no se ha arrepentido.
And I gave her space to repent of her fornicacion and she repented not.
22 He aquí, yo la arrojaré a un lecho, y a los que adulteran con ella, en muy grande tribulación, si no se arrepintieren de sus obras.
Beholde I will caste her into a beed and them yt commyt fornicacion wt her into gret adversite excepte they tourne fro their deades.
23 Y mataré sus hijos con muerte; y todas las iglesias sabrán, que yo soy el que escudriño los riñones, y los corazones; y daré a cada uno de vosotros según sus obras.
And I will kyll her children with deeth. And all the congregacions shall knowe that I am he which searcheth ye reynes and hertes. And I will geve vnto evere one of you accordynge vnto youre workes.
24 Pero yo digo a vosotros, y a los demás que estáis en Tiatira: Cualesquiera que no tienen esta doctrina, y que no han conocido las profundidades de Satanás, (como ellos dicen, ) yo no enviaré sobre vosotros otra carga.
Vnto you I saye and vnto other of them of Thiatyra as many as have not this lerninge and which have not knowen the depnes of Satha (as they saye) I will put apo you none other burthe
25 Empero la que ya tenéis, tenédla hasta que yo venga.
but yt which ye have alreddy. Holde fast tyll I come
26 Y al que hubiere vencido, y hubiere guardado mis obras hasta el fin, yo le daré potestad sobre las naciones;
and whosoever overcometh and kepeth my workes vnto the ende to hym will I geve power over nacios
27 Y regirlas ha con vara de hierro, y serán quebrantadas como vaso de ollero, como también yo he recibido de mi Padre.
and he shall rule them with a rodde of yron: and as the vessels of a potter shall he breake them to shevers. Eve as I receaved of my father
28 Y darle he la estrella de la mañana.
eue so will I geve him ye mornynge starre.
29 El que tiene oído, oiga lo que el Espíritu dice a las iglesias.
Let him yt hath eares heare what the sprete sayth to the congregacions.
