Apocalipsis 1
1 La revelación de Jesu Cristo, la cual Dios le dio para manifestar a sus siervos cosas que deben suceder presto; y la declaró, enviándo la por su ángel a Juan su siervo;
The Reuelation of Iesus Christ, which God gaue vnto him, to shewe vnto his seruants things which must shortly be done: which he sent, and shewed by his Angel vnto his seruant Iohn,
2 El cual ha dado testimonio de la palabra de Dios, y del testimonio de Jesu Cristo, y de todas las cosas que vio.
Who bare record of ye word of God, and of the testimonie of Iesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
3 Bienaventurado el que lee, y los que escuchan las palabras de la profecía, y guardan las cosas que en ella están escritas; porque el tiempo está cerca.
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that heare the wordes of this prophecie, and keepe those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
4 Juan, a las siete iglesias que están en Asia: Gracia a vosotros, y paz de aquel, que es, y que era, y que ha de venir; y de los siete espíritus que están delante de su trono;
Iohn, to the seuen Churches which are in Asia, Grace be with you, and peace from him, Which is, and Which was, and Which is to come, and from the seuen Spirits which are before his Throne,
5 Y de Jesu Cristo; que es el testigo fiel, el primogénito de entre los muertos, y el príncipe de los reyes de la tierra. Al que nos amó, y nos lavó de nuestros pecados en su misma sangre,
And from Iesus Christ, which is that faithful witnes, and that first begotten of the dead, and that Prince of the Kings of the earth, vnto him that loued vs, and washed vs from our sinnes in his blood,
6 Y nos ha hecho reyes, y sacerdotes para Dios y su Padre: a él la gloria y el imperio para siempre jamás. Amén. (aiōn g165)
And made vs Kings and Priests vnto God euen his Father, to him I say be glory, and dominion for euermore, Amen. (aiōn g165)
7 He aquí, viene con las nubes, y todo ojo le verá, y también los que le traspasaron; y todos los linajes de la tierra se lamentarán sobre él. Así es, Amén.
Beholde, he commeth with cloudes, and euery eye shall see him: yea, euen they which pearced him thorowe: and all kinreds of the earth shall waile before him, Euen so, Amen.
8 Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el principio y el fin, dice el Señor, que es, y que era, y que ha de venir, el Todopoderoso.
I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, Which is, and Which was, and Which is to come, euen the Almightie.
9 Yo Juan, vuestro hermano, y participante en la tribulación, y en el reino, y en la paciencia de Jesu Cristo, estaba en la isla que es llamada Pátmos, por la palabra de Dios, y por el testimonio de Jesu Cristo.
I Iohn, euen your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdome and patience of Iesus Christ, was in the yle called Patmos, for the worde of God, and for the witnessing of Iesus Christ.
10 Yo fui en el Espíritu en día de Domingo, y oí detrás de mí una gran voz como de trompeta,
And I was rauished in spirit on the Lordes day, and heard behinde me a great voyce, as it had bene of a trumpet,
11 Que decía: Yo soy el Alfa y la Omega, el primero y el postrero: Escribe en un libro lo que ves, y envía lo a las siete iglesias que están en Asia, es a saber, a Efeso, y a Esmirna, y a Pergamo, y a Tiatira, y a Sárdis, y a Filadelfia, y a Laodicea.
Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, that first and that last: and that which thou seest, write in a booke, and send it vnto the seuen Churches which are in Asia, vnto Ephesus, and vnto Smyrna, and vnto Pergamus, and vnto Thyatira, and vnto Sardis, and vnto Philadelphia, and vnto Laodicea.
12 Y volvíme para ver la voz que hablaba conmigo; y vuelto, ví siete candelabros de oro;
Then I turned backe to see the voyce, that spake with me: and when I was turned, I sawe seuen golden candlestickes,
13 Y en medio de los siete candelabros de oro, uno semejante al Hijo del hombre vestido de una ropa que llegaba hasta los pies, y ceñido con una cinta de oro por los pechos;
And in the middes of the seuen candlestickes, one like vnto the Sonne of man, clothed with a garment downe to the feete, and girded about the pappes with a golden girdle.
14 Y su cabeza, y sus cabellos eran blancos como la lana blanca, tan blancos como la nieve; y sus ojos como llama de fuego;
His head, and heares were white as white wooll, and as snowe, and his eyes were as a flame of fire,
15 Y sus pies semejantes al latón fino, ardientes como en un horno; y su voz como ruido de muchas aguas.
And his feete like vnto fine brasse, burning as in a fornace: and his voyce as the sounde of many waters.
16 Y tenía en su mano derecha siete estrellas; y de su boca salía una espada afilada de dos filos, y su rostro era resplandeciente como el sol resplandece en su fuerza.
And he had in his right hand seuen starres: and out of his mouth went a sharpe two edged sword: and his face shone as the sunne shineth in his strength.
17 Y cuando yo le hube visto, caí como muerto a sus pies. Y él puso su diestra sobre mí, diciéndome: No temas, yo soy el primero, y el postrero;
And when I saw him, I fell at his feete as dead: then he laid his right hand vpon me, saying vnto me, Feare not: I am that first and that last,
19 Escribe las cosas que has visto, y las que son, y las que han de ser después de estas.
Write the things which thou hast seene, and the things which are, and the things which shall come hereafter.
20 El misterio de las siete estrellas que has visto en mi diestra, y los siete candelabros de oro. Las siete estrellas, son los ángeles de las siete iglesias, y los siete candelabros que viste, son las siete iglesias.
The misterie of the seuen starres which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seuen golden candlestickes, is this, The seuen starres are the Angels of the seuen Churches: and the seuen candlestickes which thou sawest, are the seuen Churches.
