Salmos 97

1 Jehová reinó, regocíjese la tierra: alégrense las muchas islas.

YHWH reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

2 Nube y oscuridad al rededor de él: justicia y juicio es el asiento de su trono.

Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.

3 Fuego irá delante de él: y abrasará al rededor a sus enemigos.

A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about.

4 Sus relámpagos alumbraron el mundo: la tierra vio, y angustióse.

His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.

5 Los montes se derritieron como cera delante de Jehová: delante del Señor de toda la tierra.

The hills melted like wax at the presence of YHWH, at the presence of the Master of the whole earth.

6 Los cielos denunciaron su justicia: y todos los pueblos vieron su gloria.

The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

7 Avergüéncense todos los que sirven a la escultura, los que se alaban de los ídolos: todos los dioses se encorven a él.

Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye elohim.

8 Oyó Sión, y alegróse: y las hijas de Judá se regocijaron por tus juicios, o! Jehová.

Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O YHWH.

9 Porque tú, Jehová, eres alto sobre toda la tierra: eres muy ensalzado sobre todos los dioses.

For thou, YHWH, art high above all the earth: thou art exalted far above all elohim.

10 Los que amáis a Jehová, aborreced el mal: él guarda las almas de sus piadosos: de mano de los impíos los escapa.

Ye that love YHWH, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.

11 Luz está sembrada para el justo: y alegría para los rectos de corazón.

Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

12 Alegráos justos en Jehová: y alabád la memoria de su santidad.

Rejoice in YHWH, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
