Salmos 147

1 Alabád a Jehová; porque es bueno cantar salmos a nuestro Dios; porque suave y hermosa es la alabanza.

Praise ye Jah! For [it is] good to praise our God, For pleasant — comely [is] praise.

2 El que edifica a Jerusalem, Jehová: los echados de Israel recogerá.

Building Jerusalem [is] Jehovah, The driven away of Israel He gathereth.

3 El que sana a los quebrantados de corazón; y el que liga sus dolores.

Who is giving healing to the broken of heart, And is binding up their griefs.

4 El que cuenta el número de las estrellas, y a todas ellas llama por sus nombres.

Appointing the number of the stars, To all them He giveth names.

5 Grande es el Señor nuestro, y de mucho poder; y de su entendimiento no hay número.

Great [is] our Lord, and abundant in power, Of His understanding there is no narration.

6 El que ensalza a los humildes, Jehová: el que humilla a los impíos hasta la tierra.

Jehovah is causing the meek to stand, Making low the wicked unto the earth.

7 Cantád a Jehová con alabanza: cantád a nuestro Dios con arpa.

Answer ye to Jehovah with thanksgiving, Sing ye to our God with a harp.

8 El que cubre los cielos de nubes; el que apareja la lluvia para la tierra: el que hace a los montes producir yerba.

Who is covering the heavens with clouds, Who is preparing for the earth rain, Who is causing grass to spring up [on] mountains,

9 El que da a la bestia su mantenimiento: a los hijos de los cuervos que claman a él.

Giving to the beast its food, To the young of the ravens that call.

10 No toma contentamiento en la fortaleza del caballo: ni se deleita con las piernas del varón.

Not in the might of the horse doth He delight, Not in the legs of a man is He pleased.

11 Ama Jehová a los que le temen: a los que esperan en su misericordia.

Jehovah is pleased with those fearing Him, With those waiting for His kindness.

12 Alaba, Jerusalem, a Jehová: alaba, Sión, a tu Dios.

Glorify, O Jerusalem, Jehovah, Praise thy God, O Zion.

13 Porque fortificó los cerrojos de tus puertas: bendijo a tus hijos dentro de ti.

For He did strengthen the bars of thy gates, He hath blessed thy sons in thy midst.

14 El que pone por tu término la paz; y de grosura de trigo te hará hartar.

Who is making thy border peace, [With] the fat of wheat He satisfieth Thee.

15 El que envía su palabra a la tierra; y muy presto corre su palabra.

Who is sending forth His saying [on] earth, Very speedily doth His word run.

16 El que da la nieve como lana: derrama la helada como ceniza.

Who is giving snow like wool, Hoar-frost as ashes He scattereth.

17 El que echa su hielo como en pedazos; ¿delante de su frío quién estará?

Casting forth His ice like morsels, Before His cold who doth stand?

18 Enviará su palabra, y desleirlos ha: soplará su viento, gotearán las aguas.

He sendeth forth His word and melteth them, He causeth His wind to blow — the waters flow.

19 El que denuncia sus palabras a Jacob, sus estatutos y sus juicios a Israel.

Declaring His words to Jacob, His statutes and His judgments to Israel.

20 No ha hecho esto con toda nación; y sus juicios no los conocieron. Alelu- Jah.

He hath not done so to any nation, As to judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye Jah!
