Números 32
1 Y los hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad tenían mucho ganado: mucho en gran multitud: los cuales viendo la tierra de Jazer y de Galaad, parecióles el lugar, lugar de ganado.
Forsothe the sones of Ruben and of Gad hadden many beestis, and catel with out noumbre was to hem, in werk beestis. And whanne thei hadden seyn Jazer and Galaad, couenable londis to beestis to be fed,
2 Y vinieron los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén, y hablaron a Moisés, y a Eleazar el sacerdote, y a los príncipes de la congregación, diciendo:
thei camen to Moyses and Eleazar, preest, and to the princes of the multitude, and seiden,
3 Atarot, y Dibón, y Jazer, y Nemra, y Jesebón, y Eleale, y Sabán, y Nebo, y Beón,
Astaroth, and Dibon, and Jacer, and Nemra, Esebon, and Eleale, and Sabam,
4 La tierra que Jehová hirió delante de la congregación de Israel, es tierra de ganado, y tus siervos tienen ganado.
and Nebo, and Beon, the lond which the Lord smoot in the siyt of the sones of Israel, is of moost plenteuous cuntrey to the pasture of beestis; and we thi seruauntis han ful many beestis;
5 Y dijeron: Si hallamos gracia en tus ojos dése esta tierra a tus siervos en heredad, no nos hagas pasar el Jordán.
and we preyen, if we han founde grace bifor thee, that thou yyue to vs thi seruauntis that cuntrey in to possessioun, and make not vs to passe Jordan.
6 Y respondió Moisés a los hijos de Gad, y a los hijos de Rubén: ¿Vendrán vuestros hermanos a la guerra, y vosotros os quedaréis aquí?
To whiche Moises answeride, Whether youre britheren schulen go to batel, and ye schulen sitte here?
7 Y ¿por qué impedís el ánimo de los hijos de Israel, para que no pasen a la tierra que les ha dado Jehová?
Whi peruerten ye the soulis of Israel, that thei doren not passe in to the place, which the Lord schal yyue to hem?
8 Así hicieron vuestros padres cuando los envié desde Cádes-barne para que viesen esta tierra:
Whether youre fadris diden not so, whanne Y sente fro Cades Barne to aspie the lond,
9 Que subieron hasta el arroyo de Escol, y vieron la tierra, e impidieron el ánimo de los hijos de Israel para no venir a la tierra, que Jehová les había dado.
and whanne thei camen to the valey of Clustre, whanne al the cuntrey was cumpassid, thei peruertiden the herte of the sones of Israel, that thei entriden not in to the coostis, whiche the Lord yaf to hem.
10 Y el furor de Jehová se encendió entonces, y juró, diciendo:
And the Lord was wrooth, and swoor,
11 Que no verán los varones que subieron de Egipto de veinte años y arriba, la tierra, por la cual juré a Abraham, Isaac, y Jacob, por cuanto no fueron perfectos en pos de mí;
seiynge, Thes men that stieden fro Egipt, fro twenti yeer and aboue, schulen not se the lond which Y bihiyte vndur an ooth to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and nolden sue me,
12 Excepto Caleb hijo de Jefone Cenezeo, y Josué hijo de Nun, que fueron perfectos en pos de Jehová.
outakun Caleph, Cenezei, the sone of Jephone, and Josue, the sone of Nun; these tweyne filliden my wille.
13 Y el furor de Jehová se encendió en Israel, e hízolos andar vagabundos por el desierto cuarenta años, hasta que toda aquella generación fue acabada, que había hecho mal delante de Jehová.
And the Lord was wrooth ayens Israel, and ledde hym aboute the deseert bi fourti yeer, til al the generacioun was wastid, that hadde do yuel in the `siyt of the Lord.
14 Y, he aquí, vosotros habéis sucedido en lugar de vuestros padres, crianza de hombres pecadores, para añadir aun a la ira de Jehová contra Israel.
And Moyses seide, Lo! ye encressyngis, and nurreis, `ether nurschid children, of synful men, han ryse for youre fadris, that ye schulden encreesse the strong veniaunce of the Lord ayens Israel.
15 Si os volviereis de en pos de él, él volverá otra vez a dejarlo en el desierto, y destruiréis a todo este pueblo.
That if ye nylen sue the Lord, in `the wildirnesse he schal forsake the puple, and ye schulen be cause of the deeth of alle men.
16 Entonces ellos se llegaron a él, y dijeron: Edificaremos aquí majadas para nuestro ganado, y ciudades para nuestros niños:
And thei neiyiden nyy, and seiden, We schulen make foldis of scheep, and the stablis of beestis, and we schulen make strengthid citees to oure litle children.
17 Y nosotros nos armaremos, e iremos con diligencia delante de los hijos de Israel, hasta que los metamos en su lugar: y nuestros niños quedarán en ciudades fuertes a causa de los moradores de la tierra.
Forsothe we vs silf schulen be armed `to defence, and schulen be gird `with armeris to asailyng, and schulen go to batel bifor the sones of Israel, til we bryngen hem in to her places; oure litle children and what euer thing we moun haue, schulen be in strengthid cytees, for the tresouns of the dwelleris.
18 No volveremos a nuestras casas hasta que los hijos de Israel posean cada uno su heredad:
We schulen not turne ayen in to oure housis, til the sones of Israel welden her eritage;
19 Porque no tomaremos heredad con ellos tras el Jordán ni adelante, por cuanto tendremos ya nuestra heredad de estotra parte del Jordán al oriente.
and we schulen not axe ony thing ouer Jordan, for we han now oure possessioun in the eest coost therof.
20 Entonces Moisés les respondió: Si lo hiciereis así, si os armareis delante de Jehová para la guerra,
To whiche Moises seide, If ye doen that, that ye biheten, be ye maad redi, and go ye to batel bifor the Lord;
21 Y pasaréis todos vosotros armados el Jordán delante de Jehová, hasta que haya echado sus enemigos de delante de sí,
and ech man fiytere be armed, and passe Jordan, til the Lord distrye hise enemyes,
22 Y que la tierra sea sojuzgada delante de Jehová, y después volváis, seréis absueltos de Jehová y de Israel, y esta tierra será vuestra en heredad delante de Jehová.
and al the lond be maad suget to hym; thanne ye schulen be giltles anentis God, and anentis Israel, and ye schulen holde the cuntreys, whiche ye wolen, bifor the Lord.
23 Mas si no lo hiciereis así, he aquí, habréis pecado a Jehová, y sabéd que vuestro pecado os alcanzará.
But if ye doon not that, that ye seien, it is not doute to ony man, that ne ye synnen ayens God; and wite ye, that youre synne schal take you.
24 Edificáos ciudades para vuestros niños, y majadas para vuestras ovejas, y hacéd lo que ha salido de vuestra boca.
Therfor bilde ye citees to youre litle children, and foldis and stablis to scheep, and to beestis; and fille ye that, that ye bihiyten.
25 Y hablaron los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén a Moisés, diciendo: Tus siervos harán como mi señor ha mandado.
And the sones of Gad and of Ruben seiden to Moises, We ben thi seruauntis; we schulen do that, that oure lord comaundith.
26 Nuestros niños, nuestras mujeres, nuestros ganados, y todas nuestras bestias estarán allí en las ciudades de Galaad:
We schulen leeue oure litle children, and wymmen, and scheep, and beestis in the citees of Galaad;
27 Y tus siervos pasarán todos armados de guerra, delante de Jehová a la guerra de la manera que mi señor dice.
forsothe alle we thi seruauntis schulen go redi to batel, as thou, lord, spekist.
28 Entonces Moisés los encomendó a Eleazar el sacerdote, y a Josué hijo de Nun, y a los príncipes de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel;
Therfor Moyses comaundide to Eleazar, preest, and to Josue, the sone of Nun, and to the princes of meynees, bi the lynagis of Israel, and seide to hem,
29 Y díjoles Moisés: Si los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén pasaren con vosotros el Jordán, todos armados de guerra delante de Jehová, luego que la tierra fuere sojuzgada delante de vosotros, darles heis la tierra de Galaad en posesión:
If the sones of Gad, and the sones of Ruben goen alle armed with you, to batel bifor the Lord, and the lond be maad suget to you, yyue ye to hem Galaad in to possessioun;
30 Mas si no pasaren armados con vosotros: entonces tendrán posesión entre vosotros en la tierra de Canaán.
but if thei nylen passe with you in to the lond of Chanaan, take thei places to dwelle among you.
31 Y los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén respondieron, diciendo: Lo que Jehová ha dicho a tus siervos, haremos:
And the sones of Gad and the sones of Ruben answeriden, As the Lord spak to hise seruauntis, so we schulen do;
32 Nosotros pasaremos armados delante de Jehová a la tierra de Canaán, y la posesión de nuestra heredad será de esta parte del Jordán.
we schulen go armed bifor the Lord, in to the lond of Chanaan, and we knowlechen, that we han take now possessioun ouer Jordan.
33 Así Moisés les dió, a los hijos de Gad y a los hijos de Rubén, y a la media tribu de Manasés, hijo de José, el reino de Sejón rey Amorreo, y el reino de Og rey de Basán, la tierra con sus ciudades y términos, las ciudades de la tierra al derredor.
And so Moises yaf to the sones of Gad and of Ruben, and to half the lynage of Manasses, sone of Joseph, the rewme of Seon, kyng of Ammorey, and the rewme of Og, kyng of Basan, and `the lond of hem, with her citees, bi cumpas.
34 Y los hijos de Gad edificaron a Dibón y a Atarot, y a Aroer,
Therfor the sones of Gad bildiden Dibon, and Astaroth, and Aroer,
35 Y a Rot, y a Sofam, y a Jazer, y a Jegbaa,
and Roth-Sophan, and Jazer, and Jebaa,
36 Y a Bet-nemera, y a Bet-arán, ciudades fuertes, y majadas de ovejas.
and Beeth-Nemra, and Betharan, strengid citees; and foldis to her beestis.
37 Y los hijos de Rubén edificaron a Jesebón, y a Eleale, y a Cariataim,
Forsothe the sones of Ruben bildiden Esebon, and Eleale, and Cariathiarym, and Nabo,
38 Y a Nebo, y a Baal-meón, mudados los nombres, y a Sabama, y pusieron nombres a las ciudades que edificaron.
and Balmeon, whanne the names weren turned, and thei bildiden Sabama; and puttiden names to the citees, whiche thei hadden bildid.
39 Y los hijos de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, fueron a Galaad, y tomáronla, y echaron al Amorreo que estaba en ella.
Forsothe the sones of Machir, sone of Manasses, yeden in to Galaad, and distrieden it, and killiden Ammorei, enhabitere therof.
40 Y Moisés dio a Galaad a Maquir hijo de Manasés, el cual habitó en ella.
Therfor Moises yaf the lond of Galaad to Machir, sone of Manasses, which Machir dwellide ther ynne.
41 También Jair hijo de Manasés fue, y tomó sus aldeas, y púsoles nombre Havot-jair.
Forsothe Jair, the sone of Manasses, yede, and occupiede the townes therof, whiche he clepide Anochiair, that is, the townes of Jair.
42 Asimismo Nobe fue, y tomó a Canat y sus aldeas, y púsole nombre Nobe, conforme a su nombre.
Also Nobe yede, and took Canath, with hise townes, and clepide it, bi his name, Nobe.
