1 No juzguéis; porque también no seáis juzgados.
Nile ye deme, `that ye be not demed; for in what doom ye demen,
2 Porque con el juicio con que juzgáis, seréis juzgados; y con la medida que medís, con ella os volverán a medir.
ye schulen be demed, and in what mesure ye meten, it schal be meten ayen to you.
3 Y ¿por qué miras la arista que está en el ojo de tu hermano; y no echas de ver la viga que está en tu ojo?
But what seest thou a litil mote in the iye of thi brother, and seest not a beem in thin owne iye?
4 O ¿cómo dirás a tu hermano: Deja, echaré de tu ojo la arista; y, he aquí, una viga en tu ojo?
Or hou seist thou to thi brothir, Brothir, suffre I schal do out a mote fro thin iye, and lo! a beem is in thin owne iye?
5 ¡Hipócrita! echa primero la viga de tu ojo; y entonces verás claramente para echar la arista del ojo de tu hermano.
Ipocrite, `do thou out first the beem of thin iye, and thanne thou schalt se to do out the mote of the iye of thi brothir.
6 No deis lo santo a los perros; ni echéis vuestras perlas delante de los puercos; porque no las rehuellen con sus pies, y vuelvan, y os despedacen.
Nile ye yyue hooli thing to houndis, nethir caste ye youre margaritis bifore swyne, lest perauenture thei defoulen hem with her feet, and the houndis be turned, and al to-tere you.
7 Pedíd, y se os dará: buscád, y hallaréis; llamád, y se os abrirá.
Axe ye, and it schal be youun to you; seke ye, and ye schulen fynde; knocke ye, and it schal be openyd to you.
8 Porque cualquiera que pide, recibe; y el que busca, halla; y al que llama, se le abrirá.
For ech that axith, takith; and he that sekith, fyndith; and it schal be openyd to hym, that knockith.
9 ¿Qué hombre hay de vosotros, a quien si su hijo pidiere pan, le dará una piedra?
What man of you is, that if his sone axe hym breed, whethir he wole take hym a stoon?
10 ¿O si le pidiere un pez, le dará una serpiente?
Or if he axe fische, whether he wole take hym an edder?
11 Pues, si vosotros, siendo malos, sabéis dar buenas dádivas a vuestros hijos, vuestro Padre que está en los cielos, ¿cuánto más dará buenas cosas a los que le piden?
Therfor if ye, whanne ye ben yuele men, kunnen yyue good yiftis to youre sones, hou myche more youre fadir that is in heuenes schal yyue good thingis to men that axen hym?
12 Así que, todas las cosas que querríais que los hombres hiciesen con vosotros, así también hacéd vosotros con ellos; porque esta es la ley, y los profetas.
Therfor alle thingis, what euere thingis ye wolen that men do to you, do ye to hem, for this is the lawe and the prophetis.
13 Entrád por la puerta estrecha; porque ancha es la puerta, y espacioso el camino que lleva a perdición; y los que van por él, son muchos.
Entre ye bi the streyt yate; for the yate that ledith to perdicioun is large, and the weie is broode, and there ben many that entren bi it.
14 Porque la puerta es estrecha, y angosto el camino que lleva a la vida; y pocos son los que lo hallan.
Hou streit is the yate, and narwy the weye, that ledith to lijf, and ther ben fewe that fynden it.
15 Guardáos de los falsos profetas, que vienen a vosotros con vestidos de ovejas; mas interiormente son lobos robadores.
Be ye war of fals prophetis, that comen to you in clothingis of scheep, but withynneforth thei ben as wolues of raueyn;
16 Por sus frutos los conoceréis. ¿Cógense uvas de los espinos, o higos de las cambroneras?
of her fruytis ye schulen knowe hem. Whether men gaderen grapis of thornes, or figus of breris?
17 De esta manera, todo buen árbol lleva buenos frutos; mas el árbol carcomido lleva malos frutos.
So euery good tre makith good fruytis; but an yuel tre makith yuel fruytis.
18 No puede el buen árbol llevar malos frutos; ni el árbol carcomido llevar buenos frutos.
A good tre may not make yuel fruytis, nethir an yuel tre make good fruytis.
19 Todo árbol que no lleva buen fruto, córtase, y échase en el fuego.
Euery tre that makith not good fruyt, schal be kyt doun, and schal be cast in to the fier.
20 Así que por sus frutos los conoceréis.
Therfor of her fruytis ye schulen knowe hem.
21 No cualquiera que me dice: Señor, Señor, entrará en el reino de los cielos; mas el que hiciere la voluntad de mi Padre que está en los cielos.
Not ech man that seith to me, Lord, Lord, schal entre in to the kyngdom of heuenes; but he that doith the wille of my fadir that is in heuenes, he schal entre in to the kyngdoom of heuenes.
22 Muchos me dirán en aquel día: Señor, Señor, ¿no profetizamos en tu nombre, y en tu nombre echamos demonios, y en tu nombre hicimos muchas grandezas?
Many schulen seie to me in that dai, Lord, Lord, whether we han not prophesied in thi name, and han caste out feendis in thi name, and han doon many vertues in thi name?
23 Y entonces les confesaré: Nunca os conocí: apartáos de mí, obradores de maldad.
And thanne Y schal knouleche to hem, That Y knewe you neuere; departe awei fro me, ye that worchen wickidnesse.
24 Pues, cualquiera que me oye estas palabras, y las hace, compararle he al varón prudente que edificó su casa sobre roca:
Therfor ech man that herith these my wordis, and doith hem, schal be maad lijk to a wise man, that hath bildid his hous on a stoon.
25 Y descendió lluvia, y vinieron ríos, y soplaron vientos, y combatieron aquella casa, y no cayó; porque estaba fundada sobre roca.
And reyn felde doun, and flodis camen, and wyndis blewen, and russchiden `in to that hous; and it felde not doun, for it was foundun on a stoon.
26 Y cualquiera que me oye estas palabras, y no las hace, compararle he al varón insensato, que edificó su casa sobre arena:
And euery man that herith these my wordis, and doith hem not, is lijk to a fool, that hath bildid his hous on grauel.
27 Y descendió lluvia, y vinieron ríos, y soplaron vientos, e hicieron ímpetu en aquella casa, y cayó; y fue su ruina grande.
And reyn cam doun, and floodis camen, and wyndis blewen, and thei hurliden ayen that hous; and it felde doun, and the fallyng doun therof was greet.
28 Y fue que como Jesús acabó estas palabras, las gentes se espantaban de su doctrina:
And it was doon, whanne Jhesus hadde endid these wordis, the puple wondride on his techyng;
29 Porque los enseñaba como quien tiene autoridad, y no como los escribas.
for he tauyte hem, as he that hadde power, and not as the scribis `of hem, and the Farisees.
