San Mateo 24
1 Y salido Jesús del templo, íbase; y se llegaron sus discípulos, para mostrarle los edificios del templo.
And Iesus went out, and departed from the Temple, and his disciples came to him, to shewe him the building of the Temple.
2 Y respondiendo él, les dijo: ¿Veis todo esto? De cierto os digo, que no será dejada aquí piedra sobre piedra que no sea derribada.
And Iesus sayd vnto them, See ye not all these things? Verely I say vnto you, there shall not be here left a stone vpon a stone, that shall not be cast downe.
3 Y sentándose él en el monte de las Olivas, se llegaron a él los discípulos aparte, diciendo: Dinos cuando serán estas cosas, y qué señal habrá de tu venida, y del fin del siglo. (aiōn g165)
And as he sate vpon the mount of Oliues, his disciples came vnto him apart, saying, Tell vs when these things shall be, and what signe shalbe of thy comming, and of the ende of the world. (aiōn g165)
4 Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Mirád que nadie os engañe.
And Iesus answered, and sayd vnto them, Take heede that no man deceiue you.
5 Porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo; y a muchos engañarán.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceiue many.
6 Y oiréis guerras y rumores de guerras: mirád que no os turbéis; porque es menester que todo esto acontezca; mas aun no es el fin.
And ye shall heare of warres, and rumours of warres: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to passe, but the end is not yet.
7 Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y serán pestilencias, y hambres, y terremotos por los lugares.
For nation shall rise against nation, and realme against realme, and there shalbe famine, and pestilence, and earthquakes in diuers places.
8 Y todas estas cosas, principio de dolores.
All these are but ye beginning of sorowes.
9 Entonces os entregarán para ser afligidos; y os matarán; y seréis aborrecidos de todas naciones, por causa de mi nombre.
Then shall they deliuer you vp to be afflicted, and shall kill you, and ye shall be hated of all nations for my Names sake.
10 Y muchos entonces serán escandalizados; y se entregarán unos a otros; y unos a otros se aborrecerán.
And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 Y muchos falsos profetas se levantarán, y engañarán a muchos.
And many false prophets shall arise, and shall deceiue many.
12 Y por haberse multiplicado la maldad, el amor de muchos se resfriará.
And because iniquitie shalbe increased, the loue of many shalbe colde.
13 Mas el que perseverare hasta el fin, éste será salvo.
But he that endureth to the ende, he shalbe saued.
14 Y será predicado este evangelio del reino en todo el mundo, por testimonio a todas las naciones, y entonces vendrá el fin.
And this Gospel of the kingdome shalbe preached through the whole world for a witnes vnto all nations, and then shall the end come.
15 Por tanto cuando viereis la abominación de asolamiento, que fue dicha por Daniel el profeta, que estará en el lugar santo, el que lee, entienda.
When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel the Prophet, set in the holy place (let him that readeth consider it.)
16 Entonces los que estuvieren en Judea, huyan a los montes;
Then let them which be in Iudea, flee into the mountaines.
17 Y el que sobre la techumbre, no descienda a tomar algo de su casa;
Let him which is on the house top, not come downe to fetch any thing out of his house.
18 Y el que en el campo, no vuelva atrás a tomar sus ropas.
And he that is in the fielde, let not him returne backe to fetch his clothes.
19 Mas ¡ay de las preñadas, y de las que crían en aquellos días!
And woe shalbe to them that are with childe, and to them that giue sucke in those dayes.
20 Orád pues que vuestra huida no sea en invierno, ni en día de sábado.
But pray that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day.
21 Porque habrá entonces grande aflicción, cual no fue desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, ni será.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not from the beginning of the worlde to this time, nor shalbe.
22 Y si aquellos días no fuesen acortados, ninguna carne sería salva; mas por causa de los escogidos, aquellos días serán acortados.
And except those dayes should be shortened, there should no flesh be saued: but for the elects sake those dayes shalbe shortened.
23 Entonces si alguien os dijere: He aquí, está el Cristo, o allí; no creáis.
Then if any shall say vnto you, Loe, here is Christ, or there, beleeue it not.
24 Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos, y falsos profetas; y darán señales grandes y prodigios, de tal manera que engañarán, si es posible, aun a los escogidos.
For there shall arise false Christes, and false prophets, and shall shewe great signes and wonders, so that if it were possible, they should deceiue the very elect.
25 He aquí, os lo he dicho antes.
Beholde, I haue tolde you before.
26 Así que si os dijeren: He aquí, en el desierto está; no salgáis. He aquí, en las cámaras; no creáis.
Wherefore if they shall say vnto you, Beholde, he is in the desert, goe not forth: Beholde, he is in the secret places, beleeue it not.
27 Porque como relámpago que sale del oriente, y se muestra hasta el occidente, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.
For as the lightning commeth out of the East, and is seene into the West, so shall also the comming of the Sonne of man be.
28 Porque donde quiera que estuviere el cuerpo muerto, allí se juntarán también las águilas.
For wheresoeuer a dead carkeis is, thither will the Egles be gathered together.
29 Y luego después de la aflicción de aquellos días, el sol se oscurecerá; y la luna no dará su lumbre; y las estrellas caerán del cielo; y las virtudes de los cielos serán conmovidas.
And immediatly after ye tribulations of those dayes, shall the sunne be darkened, and the moone shall not giue her light, and the starres shall fal from heauen, and ye powers of heaue shalbe shake.
30 Y entonces se mostrará la señal del Hijo del hombre en el cielo, y entonces lamentarán todas las tribus de la tierra; y verán al Hijo del hombre que vendrá sobre las nubes del cielo, con poder y grande gloria.
And then shall appeare the signe of the Sonne of man in heauen: and then shall all the kinreds of the earth mourne, and they shall see the Sonne of man come in the cloudes of heauen with power and great glorie.
31 Y enviará sus ángeles con trompeta y gran voz; y juntarán sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, del un cabo del cielo hasta el otro.
And he shall send his Angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect, from the foure windes, and from the one ende of the heauens vnto the other.
32 De la higuera aprendéd la comparación: Cuando ya su rama se enternece, y las hojas brotan, sabéis que el verano está cerca.
Now learne the parable of the figge tree: when her bough is yet tender, and it putteth foorth leaues, ye knowe that sommer is neere.
33 Así también vosotros, cuando viereis todas estas cosas, sabéd que está cercano, a las puertas.
So likewise ye, when ye see all these things, know that the kingdom of God is neere, eue at ye doores.
34 De cierto os digo, que no pasará esta generación que todas estas cosas no acontezcan.
Verely I say vnto you, this generation shall not passe, till all these things be done.
35 El cielo y la tierra perecerán, mas mis palabras no perecerán.
Heauen and earth shall passe away: but my wordes shall not passe away.
36 Mas del día o hora, nadie lo sabe, ni aun los ángeles de los cielos, sino mi Padre solo.
But of that day and houre knoweth no man, no not the Angels of heauen, but my father only.
37 Mas como los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del hombre.
But as the dayes of Noe were, so likewise shall the comming of the Sonne of man be.
38 Porque como en los días antes del diluvio estaban comiendo y bebiendo, tomando mujeres, y dándolas en matrimonio, hasta el día que Noé entró en el arca,
For as in the dayes before the flood, they did eate and drinke, marrie, and giue in mariage, vnto the day that Noe entred into the Arke,
39 Y no conocieron hasta que vino el diluvio, y los llevó a todos; así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.
And knewe nothing, till the flood came, and tooke them all away, so shall also the comming of the Sonne of man be.
40 Entonces estarán dos en el campo; uno será tomado, y otro será dejado:
Then two shall be in the fieldes, the one shalbe receiued, and the other shalbe refused.
41 Dos mujeres moliendo a un molinillo; la una será tomada, y la otra será dejada.
Two women shalbe grinding at ye mill: the one shalbe receiued, and the other shalbe refused.
42 Velád pues, porque no sabéis a que hora ha de venir vuestro Señor.
Watch therefore: for ye knowe not what houre your master will come.
43 Esto empero sabéd, que si el padre de familias supiese a cual vela el ladrón había de venir, velaría, y no dejaría minar su casa.
Of this be sure, that if the good man of the house knewe at what watch the thiefe would come, he woulde surely watch, and not suffer his house to be digged through.
44 Por tanto también vosotros estád apercibidos; porque el Hijo del hombre ha de venir a la hora que no pensáis.
Therefore be ye also ready: for in the houre that ye thinke not, will the Sonne of man come.
45 ¿Quién pues es el siervo fiel y prudente, al cual su Señor puso sobre su familia, para que les dé alimento a tiempo?
Who then is a faithfull seruaunt and wise, whom his master hath made ruler ouer his household, to giue them meate in season?
46 Bienaventurado aquel siervo, al cual, cuando su Señor viniere, le hallare haciendo así.
Blessed is that seruant, whom his master when he commeth, shall finde so doing.
47 De cierto os digo, que sobre todos sus bienes le pondrá.
Verely I say vnto you, he shall make him ruler ouer all his goods.
48 Mas si aquel siervo malo dijere en su corazón: Mi señor se tarda de venir;
But if that euil seruant shall say in his heart, My master doth deferre his comming,
49 Y comenzare a herir sus compañeros, y aun a comer y beber con los borrachos:
And begin to smite his fellowes, and to eate, and to drinke with the drunken,
50 Vendrá el Señor de aquel siervo el día que él no espera, y a la hora que él no sabe,
That seruaunts master will come in a day, when he looketh not for him, and in an houre that he is not ware of,
51 Y le apartará, y pondrá su parte con los hipócritas: allí será el lloro, y el crujir de dientes.
And will cut him off, and giue him his portion with hypocrites: there shalbe weeping, and gnashing of teeth.
