Marcos 4
1 Y otra vez comenzó a enseñar junto a la mar, y se juntó a él una gran multitud, tanto que entrándose él en un barco, se sentó en la mar, y toda la multitud estaba en tierra junto a la mar.
And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.
2 Y les enseñaba por parábolas muchas cosas, y les decía en su doctrina:
And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,
3 Oíd: He aquí, el que sembraba salió a sembrar.
Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:
4 Y aconteció sembrando, que una parte cayó junto al camino; y vinieron las aves del cielo, y la tragaron.
And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.
5 Y otra parte cayó en pedregales, donde no tenía mucha tierra; y luego nació, porque no tenía la tierra profunda.
And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:
6 Mas, salido el sol, se quemó; y por cuanto no tenía raíz se secó.
But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.
7 Y otra parte cayó en espinas; y crecieron las espinas, y la ahogaron, y no dio fruto.
And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.
8 Y otra parte cayó en buena tierra, y dio fruto, que subió y creció; y llevó uno a treinta, y otro a sesenta, y otro a ciento.
And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.
9 Entonces les dijo: El que tiene oídos para oír, oiga.
And he said unto them, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
10 Y cuando estuvo solo le preguntaron, los que estaban al rededor de él con los doce, de la parábola.
And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.
11 Y les dijo: A vosotros es dado saber el misterio del reino de Dios; mas a los que están fuera, por parábolas se les hace todo;
And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are done in parables:
12 Para que viendo, vean y no vean; y oyendo, oigan y no entiendan; porque no se conviertan, y les sean perdonados sus pecados.
That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them.
13 Y les dijo: ¿No sabéis esta parábola? ¿Cómo pues entenderéis todas las parábolas?
And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?
14 El que siembra siembra la palabra.
The sower soweth the word.
15 Y estos son los de junto al camino, en los que la palabra es sembrada; mas después que la oyeron, luego viene Satanás, y quita la palabra que fue sembrada en sus corazones.
And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.
16 Y asimismo estos son los que son sembrados en pedregales; los que cuando han oído la palabra, luego la reciben con gozo;
And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, immediately receive it with gladness;
17 Mas no tienen raíz en sí, antes son temporales; que en levantándose la tribulación, o la persecución por causa de la palabra, luego se escandalizan.
And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended.
18 Y estos son los que son sembrados entre espinas; los que oyen la palabra;
And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word,
19 Mas las congojas de este siglo, y el engaño de las riquezas, y las codicias que hay en las otras cosas, entrando ahogan la palabra, y viene a quedar sin fruto. (aiōn g165)
And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
20 Y estos son los que fueron sembrados en buena tierra; los que oyen la palabra, y la reciben, y hacen fruto, uno a treinta, otro a sesenta, otro a ciento.
And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, and receive [it], and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.
21 Díjoles también: ¿Viene la luz para ser puesta debajo de un almud, o debajo de la cama? ¿No viene para ser puesta en el candelero?
And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?
22 Porque no hay nada oculto que no haya de ser manifestado; ni secreto, que no haya de venir en descubierto.
For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.
23 Si alguno tiene oídos para oír, oiga.
If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.
24 Díjoles también: Mirád lo que oís: Con la medida que medís, os medirán otros; y será añadido a vosotros los que oís.
And he said unto them, Take heed what ye hear: with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.
25 Porque al que tiene, le será dado; y al que no tiene, aun lo que tiene le será quitado.
For he that hath, to him shall be given: and he that hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he hath.
26 Decía mas: Así es el reino de Dios, como si un hombre echase simiente en la tierra;
And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;
27 Y durmiese y se levantase de noche y de día, y la simiente brotase y creciese como él no sabe.
And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how.
28 Porque la tierra de suyo frutifica, primero yerba, luego espiga, después grano lleno en la espiga.
For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.
29 Y cuando el fruto fuere producido, luego se mete la hoz, porque la siega es llegada.
But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
30 También decía: ¿A qué haremos semejante el reino de Dios? ¿o con qué parábola le compararémos?
And he said, Whereunto shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?
31 Es como el grano de la mostaza, que cuando es sembrado en tierra es el más pequeño de todas las simientes que hay en la tierra;
[It is] like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
32 Mas cuando fuere sembrado, sube, y se hace la mayor de todas las legumbres; y hace grandes ramas, de tal manera que las aves del cielo puedan hacer nidos debajo de su sombra.
But when it is sown, it groweth up, and becometh greater than all herbs, and shooteth out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.
33 Y con muchas tales parábolas les hablaba la palabra, conforme a lo que podían oír.
And with many such parables spake he the word unto them, as they were able to hear [it].
34 Y sin parábola no les hablaba; mas a sus discípulos en particular declaraba todo.
But without a parable spake he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
35 Y les dijo aquel día, cuando fue tarde: Pasemos a la otra parte.
And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.
36 Y enviada la multitud, le tomaron así como estaba en la nave, y había también con él otros barquichuelos.
And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.
37 Y se levantó una grande tempestad de viento, y echaba las ondas en la nave, de tal manera que ya se llenaba.
And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.
38 Y él estaba en la popa durmiendo sobre un cabezal; y le despertaron, y le dicen: ¿Maestro, no te importa nada que perezcamos?
And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish?
39 Y levantándose él, riñó al viento, y dijo a la mar: Calla, enmudece. Y cesó el viento; y fue hecha grande bonanza.
And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.
40 Y a ellos dijo: ¿Por qué estáis tan medrosos? ¿Cómo es que no tenéis fe?
And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?
41 Y temieron con gran temor, y decían el uno al otro: ¿Quién es éste, que aun el viento y la mar le obedecen?
And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
