Isaías 27
1 En aquel día Jehová visitará con su espada dura, grande, y fuerte, sobre el leviatán, serpiente rolliza, y sobre el leviatán, serpiente retuerta; y matará al dragón que está en la mar.
In that day the LORD with His sore and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the slant serpent, and leviathan the tortuous serpent; and He will slay the dragon that is in the sea.
2 En aquel día, la viña de Hemer, cantád de ella.
In that day sing ye of her: 'A vineyard of foaming wine!'
3 Yo Jehová la guardo, cada momento la regaré: de noche y de día la guardaré, porque el enemigo no la visite.
I the LORD do guard it, I water it every moment; lest Mine anger visit it, I guard it night and day.
4 No hay en mi enojo: ¿quién me dará espinas y cardos? En pelea pasara por ella, la encendiera juntamente.
Fury is not in Me; would that I were as the briers and thorns in flame! I would with one step burn it altogether.
5 ¿O quién forzará mi fortaleza para hacer conmigo paz, para hacer conmigo paz?
Or else let him take hold of My strength, that he may make peace with Me; yea, let him make peace with Me.
6 Días vendrán, cuando Jacob echará raíces, florecerá y echará renuevos Israel, y la haz del mundo se henchirá de fruto.
In days to come shall Jacob take root, Israel shall blossom and bud; and the face of the world shall be filled with fruitage.
7 ¿Si ha sido herido, como quien le hirió? ¿Si ha sido muerto, como los que le mataron?
Hath He smitten him as He smote those that smote him? Or is he slain according to the slaughter of them that were slain by Him?
8 Con medida la castigarás en sus metidas, aun cuando soplare con su viento recio en día de solano.
In full measure, when Thou sendest her away, Thou dost contend with her; He hath removed her with His rough blast in the day of the east wind.
9 Por tanto de esta manera será purgada la iniquidad de Jacob, y este será todo el fruto, apartamiento de su pecado, cuando tornare todas las piedras del altar, como piedras de cal desmenuzadas; porque no se levanten los bosques, ni las imágenes del sol.
Therefore by this shall the iniquity of Jacob be expiated, and this is all the fruit of taking away his sin: when he maketh all the stones of the altar as chalkstones that are beaten in pieces, so that the Asherim and the sun-images shall rise no more.
10 De otra manera la ciudad fortalecida será asolada: la morada será desamparada, y dejada como un desierto: allí se apacentará el becerro, allí tendrá su majada; y acabará sus ramas.
For the fortified city is solitary, a habitation abandoned and forsaken, like the wilderness; there shall the calf feed, and there shall he lie down, and consume the branches thereof.
11 Cuando sus ramas se secaren, y serán quebradas, mujeres vendrán a encenderla; porque aquel no es pueblo de entendimiento. Por tanto su hacedor no habrá misericordia de él: ni se compadecerá de él el que le formó.
When the boughs thereof are withered, they shall be broken off; the women shall come, and set them on fire; for it is a people of no understanding; therefore He that made them will not have compassion upon them, and He that formed them will not be gracious unto them.
12 Y acontecerá en aquel día, que aventará Jehová desde la ribera del río hasta el río de Egipto, y vosotros, hijos de Israel, seréis congregados uno a uno.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD will beat off His fruit from the flood of the River unto the Brook of Egypt, and ye shall be gathered one by one, O ye children of Israel.
13 Acontecerá también en aquel día, que será tañido con gran voz de trompeta; y vendrán, los que habían sido esparcidos en la tierra de Asiria, y los que habían sido echados en tierra de Egipto, y adorarán a Jehová en el monte santo en Jerusalem.
And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great horn shall be blown; and they shall come that were lost in the land of Assyria, and they that were dispersed in the land of Egypt; and they shall worship the LORD in the holy mountain at Jerusalem.
