Ezequiel 11

1 Y el espíritu me levantó, y me metió por la puerta oriental de la casa de Jehová, la cual mira hacia el oriente; y he aquí en la entrada de la puerta veinte y cinco varones, entre los cuales ví a Jezonías, hijo de Azur, y a Pelcías, hijo de Banaías, príncipes del pueblo.

Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD’s house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

2 Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, estos son los hombres que piensan perversidad, y aconsejan mal consejo en esta ciudad.

Then said he unto me, Son of man, these [are] the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

3 Los que dicen: No será tan presto: edifiquemos casas: esta será la caldera, y nosotros la carne.

Which say, [It is] not near; let us build houses: this [city is] the caldron, and we [be] the flesh.

4 Por tanto profetiza contra ellos: profetiza, hijo del hombre.

Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

5 Y cayó sobre mí el Espíritu de Jehová, y díjome: Dí: Así dijo Jehová: Así habéis hablado, o! casa de Israel, y las cosas que suben a vuestro espíritu yo las he entendido.

And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, [every one of] them.

6 Habéis multiplicado vuestros muertos en esta ciudad, y habéis henchido de muertos sus calles.

Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

7 Por tanto así dijo el Señor Jehová: Vuestros muertos que habéis puesto en medio de ella, esos son la carne, y ella es la caldera: mas a vostros yo os sacaré de en medio de ella.

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they [are] the flesh, and this [city is] the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

8 Espada habéis temido, y espada traeré sobre vosotros, dijo el Señor Jehová.

Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD.

9 Y yo os sacaré de en medio de ella, y os entregaré en mano de extraños, y yo haré juicios en vosotros.

And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

10 A espada caeréis: en el término de Israel os juzgaré, y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I [am] the LORD.

11 Esta no os será por caldera, ni vosotros seréis en medio de ella por la carne: en el término de Israel os tengo de juzgar.

This [city] shall not be your caldron, neither shall ye be the flesh in the midst thereof; [but] I will judge you in the border of Israel:

12 Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová, porque no habéis andado en mis ordenanzas, ni habéis hecho según mis juicios: mas según los juicios de las gentes que están en vuestros al derredores habéis hecho.

And ye shall know that I [am] the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that [are] round about you.

13 Y aconteció que estando yo profetizando, Pelcías, hijo de Banaías, murió. Y caí sobre mi rostro, y clamé con grande voz, y dijo: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! ¿haces tú consumación del resto de Israel?

And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

14 Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:

Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

15 Hijo del hombre, tus hermanos, tus hermanos, los hombres de tu parentesco, y toda la casa de Israel, toda ella: a quien dijeron los moradores de Jerusalem: Alejáos de Jehová: a nosotros es dada la tierra en posesión,

Son of man, thy brethren, [even] thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, [are] they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.

16 Por tanto dí: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Aunque los he echado lejos entre las gentes, y los he esparcido por las tierras, con todo eso les seré por un pequeño santuario en las tierras donde vinieren.

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

17 Por tanto dí: Así dijo el Señor Jehová: Yo os congregaré de los pueblos, y os apañaré de las tierras en las cuales estáis esparcidos, y os daré la tierra de Israel.

Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

18 Y vendrán allá, y quitarán de ella todas sus contaminaciones, y todas sus abominaciones.

And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

19 Y darles he un corazón, y espíritu nuevo daré en sus entrañas; y quitaré el corazón de piedra de su carne, y darles he corazón de carne;

And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

20 Para que anden en mis ordenanzas, y guarden mis juicios, y los hagan; y me sean a mí por pueblo, y yo les sea a ellos por Dios.

That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

21 Y aquellos cuyo corazón anda al corazón de sus contaminaciones, y de sus abominaciones, yo daré su camino sobre su cabeza, dijo el Señor Jehová.

But [as for them] whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

22 Y los querubines alzaron sus alas, y las ruedas en pos de ellos; y la gloria del Dios de Israel sobre ellos encima.

Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel [was] over them above.

23 Y la gloria de Jehová se fue de en medio de la ciudad, y paró sobre el monte que está al oriente de la ciudad.

And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which [is] on the east side of the city.

24 Y el espíritu me levantó, y me tornó a traer en la tierra de los Caldeos a los trasportados, en visión del Espíritu de Dios; y partióse de mí la visión que había visto.

Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

25 Y hablé a los trasportados todas las palabras de Jehová, que él me había mostrado.

Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shewed me.
