Ester 5

1 Y aconteció que al tercero día Ester se vistió vestido real, y púsose en el patio de adentro de la casa del rey en frente del aposento del rey: y el rey estaba asentado sobre su trono real en el aposento real, en frente de la puerta del aposento.

And it was - on the day third and she put on Esther royalty and she stood in [the] court of [the] house of the king inner before [the] house of the king and the king [was] sitting on [the] throne of royalty his in [the] house of royalty before [the] entrance of the house.

2 Y fue, que como vio a la reina Ester que estaba en el patio, ella tuvo gracia en sus ojos, y el rey extendió a Ester la vara de oro que tenía en la mano: entonces Ester llegó, y tocó la punta de la vara.

And it was when saw the king Esther the queen standing in the court she bore favor in eyes his and he extended the king to Esther [the] scepter of gold which [was] in hand his and she drew near Esther and she touched [the] top of the scepter.

3 Y díjole el rey: ¿Qué tienes reina Ester? ¿Y qué es tu petición? Hasta la mitad del reino se te dará.

And he said to her the king what? [is] to you O Esther the queen and what? [is] request your up to half of the kingdom so it may be given to you.

4 Y Ester dijo: Si al rey place, venga el rey, y Amán hoy al banquete que he hecho.

And she said Esther if [is] on the king good let him come the king and Haman this day to the feast which I have made for him.

5 Y respondió el rey: Dáos priesa, id a Amán, que haga el mandamiento de Ester. Y vino el rey y Amán al banquete que Ester hizo.

And he said the king bring quickly Haman to do [the] word of Esther and he came the king and Haman to the feast which she had made Esther.

6 Y dijo el rey a Ester en el banquete de vino: ¿Qué es tu petición, y dársete ha? ¿Qué es tu demanda? Aunque sea la mitad del reino, se te hará.

And he said the king to Esther at [the] feast of wine what? [is] petition your sp it may be given to you and what? [is] request your up to half of the kingdom and it may be done.

7 Entonces respondió Ester, y dijo: Mi petición, y mi demanda es;

And she answered Esther and she said petition my and request my.

8 Si he hallado gracia en los ojos del rey, y si place al rey dar mi petición, y hacer mi demanda, vendrá el rey y Amán al banquete, que les haré: y mañana haré lo que el rey manda.

If I have found favor in [the] eyes of the king and if [is] on the king good to grant petition my and to do request my let him come the king and Haman to the feast which I will make for them and tomorrow I will do according to [the] word of the king.

9 Y salió Amán aquel día alegre y bueno de corazón: y como vio a Mardoqueo a la puerta del rey, que no se levantó ni se movió de su lugar, fue lleno de ira contra Mardoqueo.

And he went out Haman on the day that joyful and good of heart and just as saw Haman Mordecai at [the] gate of the king and not he stood up and not he trembled from him and he was filled Haman towards Mordecai rage.

10 Mas refrenóse Amán, y vino a su casa, y envió e hizo venir sus amigos, y a Zares su mujer:

And he restrained himself Haman and he went to house his and he sent and he gathered friends his and Zeresh wife his.

11 Y recitóles Amán la gloria de sus riquezas, y la multitud de sus hijos, y todas las cosas con que el rey le había engrandecido, y con que le había ensalzado sobre los príncipes y siervos del rey.

And he recounted to them Haman [about] [the] splendor of wealth his and [the] multitude of sons his and [about] all that he had made great him the king and this: he had exalted him above the officials and [the] servants of the king.

12 Y añadió Amán: También la reina Ester no hizo venir con el rey al banquete que hizo sino a mí: y aun para mañana soy convidado de ella con el rey.

And he said Haman also not she let come [anyone] Esther the queen with the king to the feast which she had prepared that except me and also for tomorrow I [am] invited by her with the king.

13 Y todo esto no me entra en provecho, cada vez que veo a Mardoqueo Judío sentado a la puerta del rey.

And all this not it [is] adequate for me at any time when I [am] seeing Mordecai the Jew sitting at [the] gate of the king.

14 Y díjole Zares su mujer y todos sus amigos: Hagan una horca alta de cincuenta codos, y mañana di al rey que cuelguen a Mardoqueo sobre ella: y entra con el rey al banquete alegre. Y plugo la cosa en los ojos de Amán, e hizo hacer la horca.

And she said to him Zeresh wife his and all friends his let people make a gallows high fifty cubit[s] and in the morning - speak to the king so people may hang Mordecai on it and go with the king to the feast joyful and it was good the word before Haman and he made the gallows.
