Efesios 4
1 Ruégoos pues, yo preso en el Señor, que andéis como es digno de la vocación con que sois llamados, es a saber,
Exhort therefore you I myself the prisoner in [the] Lord worthily to walk of the calling to which you were called,
2 Con toda humildad y mansedumbre, con paciencia soportando los unos a los otros en amor,
with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love,
3 Solícitos a guardar la unidad del Espíritu en el vínculo de la paz.
being diligent to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace,
4 Hay un cuerpo, y un Espíritu; así como sois también llamados en una misma esperanza de vuestra vocación.
one body and one Spirit even as also you were called into one hope of the calling of you;
5 Un Señor, una fe, un bautismo,
one Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 Un Dios y Padre de todos, el cual es sobre todas las cosas, y por en medio de todas las cosas, y en todos vosotros.
one God and Father of all, who [is] over all and through all [times] and in all (in you. *K+O)
7 Empero a cada uno de nosotros es dada gracia conforme a la medida del don de Cristo.
One now to each of us has been given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
8 Por lo cual dice: Subiendo a lo alto llevó cautiva la cautividad; y dio dones a los hombres.
Therefore it says: Having ascended on high He led captive captivity, (and *ko) he gave gifts to men.
9 Y el que subió, ¿qué es, sino que también había descendido primero a las partes inferiores de la tierra?
And He ascended, what is [this] only except that also He descended (first *K) into the lower regions of the earth?
10 El que descendió, el mismo es el que también subió sobre todos los cielos, para llenar todas las cosas.
The [One] having descended [the] same is also [one] having ascended above all the heavens, so that He may fill all things.
11 Y él mismo dio unos, por apóstoles; y otros, por profetas; y otros, por evangelistas; y otros, por pastores, y doctores,
And He himself gave some indeed [to be] apostles, some however prophets, some however evangelists, some however shepherds and teachers,
12 Para el perfeccionamiento de los santos, para la obra del ministerio, para la edificación del cuerpo de Cristo:
toward the perfecting of the saints for [the] work of ministry, for [the] building up of the body of Christ;
13 Hasta que todos lleguemos en la unidad de la fe, y del conocimiento del Hijo de Dios, al estado de un varón perfecto, a la medida de la estatura de la plenitud de Cristo:
until we may attain all to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a man a complete, to [the] measure of [the] stature of the fullness of Christ;
14 Que ya no seamos niños, inconstantes y llevados en derredor por todo viento de doctrina, con artificio de los hombres, que engañan con astucia de error.
so that no longer we may be infants being tossed by waves and being carried about by every wind of teaching in the cunning of men in craftiness with a view to the scheming of deceit,
15 Antes siguiendo la verdad con amor, crezcamos en todo en el que es la cabeza, a saber, Cristo,
Speaking the truth however in love we may grow up into Him in all things who is the head, Christ
16 Del cual todo el cuerpo bien compacto y ligado por lo que cada coyuntura suple, conforme a la operación eficaz en la medida de cada miembro, hace el aumento del cuerpo para la edificación del mismo en amor.
from whom all the body being joined together and being held together through every ligament of [its] supply according to [the] working in [the] measure individual of each part the increase of the body makes for itself to [the] building up of itself in love.
17 Así que esto digo, y requiero por el Señor, que no andéis más como los otros Gentiles, que andan en la vanidad de su mente,
This therefore I say and I testify in [the] Lord No longer [are] you to walk even as also the (rest of *K) Gentiles are walking in [the] futility of the mind of them,
18 Teniendo el entendimiento entenebrecido, ajenos de vida de Dios por la ignorancia que en ellos hay, por la dureza de su corazón:
(darkened *N+kO) in the understanding being alienated from the life of God because of the ignorance which is being in them, on account of the hardness of the heart of them;
19 Los cuales perdido ya todo sentimiento justo, se han entregado a la desvergüenza para cometer toda inmundicia, con ansia.
who having cast off all feeling themselves they gave up to sensuality for [the] working of impurity all with greediness.
20 Mas vosotros no habéis aprendido así a Cristo.
you yourselves however not this way learned Christ,
21 Si empero le habéis oído, y habéis sido por él enseñados, como la verdad es en Jesús,
if indeed Him you have heard and in Him were taught, even as is [the] truth in Jesus,
22 A despojaros del hombre viejo, en cuanto a la pasada manera de vivir, el cual es corrompido conforme a los deseos engañosos;
Are to have put off you concerning the former way of life the old man which is being corrupted according to [its] desires of deceit,
23 Y a renovaros en el espíritu de vuestro entendimiento,
to be renewed then in the spirit of the mind of you
24 Y vestiros del hombre nuevo, que es creado conforme a Dios en justicia, y en santidad verdadera.
and to have put on the new man according to God having been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
25 Por lo cual, dejando la mentira, hablád verdad cada uno con su prójimo; porque somos miembros los unos de los otros.
Therefore having put off falsehood do speak truth each one with the neighbour of him, because we are of one another members.
26 Airáos, y no pequéis: no se ponga el sol sobre vuestro enojo;
do be angry and yet not do sin; The sun not should set upon the anger of you;
27 Ni deis lugar al diablo.
(neither *N+kO) do give opportunity to the devil.
28 El que hurtaba, no hurte más; antes trabaje, obrando con sus manos lo que es bueno, para que tenga de qué dar al que padeciere necesidad.
who is stealing no longer he should steal, rather however he should toil working with [their] own hands what [is] good, so that he may have [something] to impart to the [one] need having.
29 Ninguna palabra podrida salga de vuestra boca; sino antes la que es buena, para edificación, para que dé gracia a los oyentes.
Any word unwholesome out of the mouth of you not should go forth but if any good for edification of the need, so that it shall give grace to those hearing.
30 Y no contristéis al Espíritu Santo de Dios, por el cual estáis sellados para el día de la redención.
And not do grieve the Spirit Holy of God in whom you were sealed for [the] day of redemption.
31 Toda amargura, y enojo, e ira, y gritería, y maledicencia sea quitada de entre vosotros, y toda malicia.
All bitterness and rage and anger and clamor and slander should be removed from you along with all malice.
32 Mas sed los unos con los otros benignos, compasivos, perdonándoos los unos a los otros, como también Dios os perdonó en Cristo.
do be now to one another kind, tender-hearted, forgiving each other even as also God in Christ forgave (you. *NK+O)
