Efesios 3
1 Por esta causa yo Pablo, el prisionero de Cristo Jesús por amor de vosotros los Gentiles,
For the grace of this thing I Poul, the boundun of Crist Jhesu, for you hethene men,
2 Visto que habéis oído de la dispensación de la gracia de Dios que me ha sido dada para con vosotros:
if netheles ye han herd the dispensacioun of Goddis grace, that is youun to me in you.
3 Es a saber, que por revelación me fue declarado el misterio, (como antes he escrito en breve:
For bi reuelacioun the sacrament is maad knowun to me, as Y aboue wroot in schort thing,
4 Lo cual leyendo podéis entender cual sea mi inteligencia en el misterio de Cristo: )
as ye moun rede, and vndurstonde my prudence in the mysterie of Crist.
5 El cual misterio en otras edades no fue entendido de los hijos de los hombres, como ahora es revelado a sus santos apóstoles y profetas por el Espíritu:
Which was not knowun to othere generaciouns to the sones of men, as it is now schewid to his hooli apostlis and prophetis in the spirit,
6 Que los Gentiles habían de ser coherederos, e incorporados, y participantes de su promesa en Cristo por el evangelio:
that hethene men ben euen eiris, and of oo bodi, and parteneris togidere of his biheest in Crist Jhesu bi the euangelie;
7 Del cual yo soy hecho ministro, por el don de la gracia de Dios que me ha sido dado, según la operación de su poder.
whos mynystre Y am maad, bi the yifte of Goddis grace, which is youun to me bi the worchyng of his vertu.
8 A mí, digo, el menor de todos los santos, es dada esta gracia de anunciar entre los Gentiles el evangelio de las riquezas inescrutables de Cristo;
To me, leeste of alle seyntis, this grace is youun to preche among hethene men the vnserchable richessis of Crist,
9 Y de enseñar con claridad a todos cual sea la dispensación del misterio escondido desde los siglos en Dios, que creó todas las cosas por Jesu Cristo: (aiōn g165)
and to liytne alle men, which is the dispensacioun of sacrament hid fro worldis in God, that made alle thingis of nouyt; (aiōn g165)
10 Para que a los principados y potestades en los cielos sea ahora hecha notoria por la iglesia la multiforme sabiduría de Dios,
that the myche fold wisdom of God be knowun to princis and potestatis in heuenli thingis bi the chirche,
bi the bifore ordinaunce of worldis, which he made in Crist Jhesu oure Lord. (aiōn g165)
12 En el cual tenemos libertad y entrada con confianza por la fe de él.
In whom we han trist and nyy comyng, in tristenyng bi the feith of hym.
13 Por tanto os ruego, que no desmayéis por causa de mis tribulaciones por vosotros, lo cual es vuestra gloria.
For which thing Y axe, that ye faile not in my tribulaciouns for you, which is youre glorie.
14 Por causa de esto hinco mis rodillas al Padre de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo:
For grace of this thing Y bowe my knees to the fadir of oure Lord Jhesu Crist,
15 (De quien toma nombre toda la familia en los cielos y en la tierra: )
of whom ech fadirhod in heuenes and in erthe is named,
16 Que os dé conforme a las riquezas de su gloria, que seáis corroborados con poder en el hombre interior por su Espíritu:
that he yyue to you, aftir the richessis of his glorie, vertu to be strengthid bi his spirit in the ynnere man,
17 Que habite Cristo por la fe en vuestros corazones; para que arraigados y afirmados en amor,
that Crist dwelle bi feith in youre hertis; that ye rootid and groundid in charite,
18 Podáis comprender con todos los santos cual sea la anchura, y la longitud, y la profundidad, y la altura;
moun comprehende with alle seyntis, which is the breede, and the lengthe, and the hiynesse, and the depnesse;
19 Y conocer el amor de Cristo, que sobrepuja a todo entendimiento; para que seáis llenos de toda la plenitud de Dios.
also to wite the charite of Crist more excellent than science, that ye be fillid in al the plentee of God.
20 A aquel, pues, que es poderoso para hacer todas las cosas mucho más abundantemente de lo que pedimos, o entendemos, conforme al poder que obra en nosotros,
And to hym that is myyti to do alle thingis more plenteuousli than we axen or vndurstondun, bi the vertu that worchith in vs,
