Hechos 3
1 Pedro y Juan subían juntos al templo a la hora de la oración, es decir, la de nona.
Now Peter and John were going up into the temple at the hour of prayer, [being] the ninth [hour].
2 Y un hombre, cojo desde el vientre de su madre, era traído; al cual ponían cada día a la puerta del templo, que se dice la Hermosa, para que pidiese limosna de los que entraban en el templo.
And a certain man that was lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the door of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
3 Este como vio a Pedro y a Juan que comenzaban a entrar en el templo, les pedía una limosna.
who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple, asked to receive an alms.
4 Pedro pues con Juan poniendo los ojos en él, dijo: Mira a nosotros.
And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him, with John, said, Look on us.
5 Entonces él estuvo atento a ellos, esperando recibir de ellos algo.
And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something from them.
6 Y Pedro dijo: Ni tengo plata ni oro; mas lo que tengo, eso te doy: en el nombre de Jesu Cristo, el Nazareno, levántate, y anda.
But Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but what I have, that give I thee. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.
7 Y tomándole por la mano derecha, le levantó; y luego fueron afirmados sus pies y tobillos.
And he took him by the right hand, and raised him up: and immediately his feet and his ankle-bones received strength.
8 Y saltando, se puso en pie, y anduvo, y entró con ellos en el templo, andando y saltando, y alabando a Dios.
And leaping up, he stood, and began to walk; and he entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.
9 Y todo el pueblo le vio andando, y alabando a Dios.
And all the people saw him walking and praising God:
10 Y le conocían, que él era el que se sentaba a pedir la limosna a la puerta del templo, la Hermosa; y fueron llenos de miedo y de espanto de lo que le había acontecido.
and they took knowledge of him, that it was he that sat for alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at that which had happened unto him.
11 Y teniendo a Pedro y a Juan el cojo que había sido sanado, todo el pueblo concurrió a ellos al pórtico que se llama de Salomón atónitos.
And as he held Peter and John, all the people ran together unto them in the porch that is called Solomon’s, greatly wondering.
12 Lo cual viendo Pedro, respondió al pueblo: Varones Israelitas, ¿por qué os maravilláis de esto? ¿o por qué ponéis los ojos en nosotros como si por nuestro poder o piedad hubiésemos hecho andar a éste?
And when Peter saw it, he answered unto the people, Ye men of Israel, why marvel ye at this man? or why fasten ye your eyes on us, as though by our own power or godliness we had made him to walk?
13 El Dios de Abraham, y de Isaac, y de Jacob, el Dios de nuestros padres, ha glorificado a su Hijo Jesús, al cual vosotros entregasteis, y negasteis delante de Pilato, juzgando él que había de ser suelto.
The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Servant Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied before the face of Pilate, when he had determined to release him.
14 Mas vosotros al Santo y al Justo negasteis, y pedisteis que se os diese un hombre homicida;
But ye denied the Holy and Righteous One, and asked for a murderer to be granted unto you,
15 Y matasteis al Autor de la vida, al cual Dios ha resucitado de los muertos, de lo cual nosotros somos testigos.
and killed the Prince of life; whom God raised from the dead; whereof we are witnesses.
16 Y su nombre, por la fe en su nombre ha confirmado a éste que vosotros veis y conocéis; y la fe que por él es, ha dado a éste esta perfecta sanidad en presencia de todos vosotros.
And by faith in his name hath his name made this man strong, whom ye behold and know: yea, the faith which is through him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
17 Mas ahora, hermanos, yo sé que por ignorancia habéis hecho aquello, como también vuestros príncipes.
And now, brethren, I know that in ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers.
18 Empero Dios lo que había antes anunciado por boca de todos sus profetas, que su Cristo había de padecer, así lo ha cumplido.
But the things which God foreshowed by the mouth of all the prophets, that his Christ should suffer, he thus fulfilled.
19 Arrepentíos, pues, y convertíos, para que vuestros pecados sean raídos, cuando los tiempos del refrigerio vinieren de la presencia del Señor;
Repent ye therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come seasons of refreshing from the presence of the Lord;
20 Y enviará a Jesu Cristo, que os ha sido antes anunciado.
and that he may send the Christ who hath been appointed for you, [even] Jesus:
21 Al cual cierto es menester que el cielo reciba hasta los tiempos de la restauración de todas las cosas: de que habló Dios por boca de todos sus santos profetas que han sido desde el principio de los siglos. (aiōn g165)
whom the heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, whereof God spake by the mouth of his holy prophets that have been from of old. (aiōn g165)
22 Porque Moisés a la verdad dijo a los padres: El Señor vuestro Dios os levantará un profeta de vuestros hermanos, como yo: a él oiréis en todas las cosas que os hablare.
Moses indeed said, A prophet shall the Lord God raise up unto you from among your brethren, like unto me; to him shall ye hearken in all things whatsoever he shall speak unto you.
23 Y acontecerá, que toda alma que no oyere a aquel profeta, será exterminada de entre el pueblo.
And it shall be, that every soul that shall not hearken to that prophet, shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.
24 Y todos los profetas desde Samuel, y en adelante, todos los que han hablado, han prenunciado estos días.
Yea and all the prophets from Samuel and them that followed after, as many as have spoken, they also told of these days.
25 Vosotros sois los hijos de los profetas, y del concierto que Dios concertó con nuestros padres, diciendo a Abraham: Y en tu simiente serán benditas todas las familias de la tierra.
Ye are the sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with your fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.
26 A vosotros primeramente, Dios, habiendo levantado a su Hijo Jesús, le envió para que os bendijese, convirtiéndoos cada uno de su maldad.
Unto you first God, having raised up his Servant, sent him to bless you, in turning away every one of you from your iniquities.
