2 Pedro 2
1 Empero hubo también falsos profetas entre el pueblo, así como habrá entre vosotros falsos enseñadores, que introducirán encubiertamente herejías de perdición, y negarán al Señor que los rescató, trayendo sobre sí mismos acelerada perdición.
Bvt there were false prophets also among the people, euen as there shalbe false teachers among you: which priuily shall bring in damnable heresies, euen denying the Lord, that hath bought them, and bring vpon themselues swift damnation.
2 Y muchos seguirán sus perdiciones: por los cuales el camino de la verdad será blasfemado;
And many shall follow their destructions, by whom the way of trueth shalbe euil spoken of,
3 Y por avaricia harán mercadería de vosotros con palabras fingidas: sobre los cuales la condenación ya de largo tiempo no se tarda, y su perdición no se duerme.
And through couetousnes shall they with fained words make marchandise of you, whose condemnation long since resteth not, and their destruction slumbreth not.
4 Porque ¿cómo escaparán ellos? pues no perdonó Dios a los ángeles que habían pecado, mas antes habiéndo los despeñado en el tártaro con cadenas de oscuridad, los entregó para ser reservados al juicio; (Tartaroō g5020)
For if God spared not the Angels that had sinned, but cast them downe into hell, and deliuered them into chaines of darkenes, to be kept vnto damnation: (Tartaroō g5020)
5 Y pues no perdonó al mundo viejo, mas antes preservó a Noé, la octava persona, pregonero de justicia, y trajo el diluvio al mundo de malvados;
Neither hath spared the olde worlde, but saued Noe the eight person a preacher of righteousnesse, and brought in the flood vpon the world of the vngodly,
6 Y si condenó por destrucción las ciudades de Sodoma, y de Gomorra, tornándolas en ceniza, y poniéndo las por ejemplo a los que habían de vivir impíamente;
And turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrhe into ashes, condemned them and ouerthrewe them, and made them an ensample vnto them that after should liue vngodly,
7 Y libró al justo Lot, el cual era perseguido de los abominables por la nefanda conversación de ellos:
And deliuered iust Loth vexed with the vncleanly conuersation of the wicked:
8 (Porque este justo de vista y de oídos, morando entre ellos, afligía cada día su alma justa con los hechos de aquellos injustos: )
(For he being righteous, and dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soule from day to day with their vnlawfull deedes.)
9 Sabe el Señor librar de tentación a los piadosos, y reservar a los injustos para ser atormentados en el día del juicio:
The Lord knoweth to deliuer the godly out of tentation, and to reserue the vniust vnto the day of iudgement vnder punishment.
10 Y principalmente aquellos, que siguiendo la carne, andan en concupiscencia de inmundicia, y menosprecian las potestades: siendo atrevidos, contumaces, que no temen de decir mal de las dignidades:
And chiefly them that walke after the flesh, in the lust of vncleannesse, and despise gouernement, which are bolde, and stand in their owne conceite, and feare not to speake euill of them that are in dignitie.
11 Como quiera que los mismos ángeles, que son mayores en fuerza y en potencia, no pronuncian juicio de maldición contra ellas delante del Señor.
Where as the Angels which are greater both in power and might, giue not railing iudgement against them before the Lord.
12 Mas estos diciendo mal de las cosas que no entienden, (como bestias brutas, que naturalmente son hechas para presa y destrucción, ) perecerán enteramente en su propia corrupción,
But these, as naturall brute beasts, led with sensualitie and made to be taken, and destroyed, speake euill of those things which they know not, and shall perish through their owne corruption,
13 Recibiendo el galardón de su injusticia, reputando por deleite poder gozar de deleites cada día: estos son suciedades y manchas, los cuales comiendo con vosotros, juntamente se recrean en sus propios errores:
And shall receiue the wages of vnrighteousnes, as they which count it pleasure dayly to liue deliciously. Spottes they are and blottes, deliting them selues in their deceiuings, in feasting with you,
14 Teniendo los ojos llenos de la adúltera, y no saben cesar de pecar: cebando las almas inconstantes, teniendo el corazón ejercitado en codicias, siendo hijos de maldición:
Hauing eyes full of adulterie, and that can not cease to sinne, beguiling vnstable soules: they haue heartes exercised with couetousnesse, they are the children of curse:
15 Que dejando el camino derecho han errado, habiendo seguido el camino de Balaam, el hijo de Bosor, el cual amó el premio de la maldad;
Which forsaking the right way, haue gone astray, folowing the way of Balaam, the sonne of Bosor, which loued the wages of vnrighteousnes.
16 Mas recibió reprensión por su misma transgresión: la muda bestia, hablando en voz de hombre, refrenó la locura del profeta.
But he was rebuked for his iniquitie: for the dumme beast speaking with mans voyce, forbade the foolishnesse of the Prophet.
17 Estos son fuentes sin agua, nubes traídas de torbellino de viento; para los cuales está guardada eternamente la oscuridad de las tinieblas. (questioned)
These are welles without water, and cloudes caried about with a tempest, to whome the blacke darkenes is reserued for euer. (questioned)
18 Porque hablando arrogantes palabras de vanidad, ceban con las concupiscencias de la carne en disoluciones a los que verdaderamente habían huido de los que conversan en error:
For in speaking swelling wordes of vanitie, they beguile with wantonnesse through the lusts of the flesh them that were cleane escaped from them which are wrapped in errour,
19 Prometiéndoles libertad, siendo ellos mismos siervos de corrupción. Porque el que es de alguno vencido, es sujeto a la servidumbre del que le venció.
Promising vnto them libertie, and are themselues the seruants of corruption: for of whomsoeuer a man is ouercome, euen vnto the same is he in bondage.
20 Porque si habiéndose ellos apartado de las contaminaciones del mundo, por el conocimiento del Señor y Salvador Jesu Cristo, y otra vez envolviéndose en ellas, son vencidos, sus postrimerías les son hechas peores que los principios.
For if they, after they haue escaped from the filthinesse of the world, through the acknowledging of the Lord, and of the Sauiour Iesus Christ, are yet tangled againe therein, and ouercome, the latter ende is worse with them then the beginning.
21 Por lo que mejor les hubiera sido no haber conocido el camino de la justicia, que después de haber lo conocido, tornarse atrás del santo mandamiento que les fue dado.
For it had bene better for them, not to haue acknowledged the way of righteousnes, then after they haue acknowledged it, to turne from the holy commandement giuen vnto them.
22 Empero les ha acontecido lo que por un verdadero proverbio se suele decir: El perro es vuelto a su vómito, y la puerca lavada es tornada al revolcadero del cieno.
But it is come vnto them, according to the true Prouerbe, The dogge is returned to his owne vomit: and, The sowe that was washed, to the wallowing in the myre.
