2 Corintios 11

1 ¡Ojalá toleraseis un poco mi insensatez! Mas, sí, tolerádme.

I could wish ye would bear with me as to some little foolishness, —Nay! do even bear with me!

2 Porque os zelo con zelo de Dios; porque os he desposado con un marido, para presentar os como una virgen pura a Cristo.

For I am jealous over you with a jealousy, of God; for I myself betrothed you unto one husband, to present, a chaste virgin, unto the Christ, —

3 Mas tengo miedo de que, en alguna manera, como la serpiente engañó a Eva con su astucia, así no sean corrompidos vuestros ánimos, apartándose de la simplicidad que es en Cristo:

But I fear lest, by any means, as, the serpent, completely deceived Eve, in his craftiness, your minds should be corrupted from the singleness [and the chasteness] which are [due] unto the Christ.

4 Porque si alguno viniere que predicare otro Cristo que el que hemos predicado; o si recibiereis otro espíritu del que habéis recibido; u otro evangelio del que habéis abrazado, le sufriríais bien.

For, if, indeed, he that cometh, is proclaiming, another Jesus, whom we have not proclaimed, or, a different Spirit, ye are receiving, which ye had not received, or a different glad-message, which ye have never welcomed, ye are, well, bearing.

5 Empero yo pienso, que en nada he sido inferior a los más eminentes apóstoles.

For I reckon not to have come a whit behind the exceeding overmuch apostles;

6 Porque aunque soy tosco en la palabra, no empero en la ciencia; mas en todas las cosas somos ya del todo manifiestos a vosotros.

And, even if uncultured in my discourse, certainly not in my knowledge, —but, in every way, having made [it] manifest, in all things, unto you.

7 ¿Pequé yo humillándome a mí mismo, para que vosotros fueseis ensalzados, porque os he predicado el evangelio de Dios de balde?

Or, a sin, did I commit—abasing, myself, that, ye, might be exalted, —in that, free of charge, God’s glad-message, I announced unto you?

8 He despojado las otras iglesias, recibiendo salario de ellos para servir a vosotros.

Other assemblies, I despoiled, receiving supplies that I might minister, unto you;

9 Y estando con vosotros, y teniendo necesidad, a ninguno fui carga; porque lo que me faltaba, lo suplieron los hermanos que vinieron de Macedonia; y en todas cosas me guardé de seros gravoso, y me guardaré.

And, being present with you, and having come short, I was not burdensome to anyone, —for, my deficiency, the brethren, coming from Macedonia, helped to make up; —and, in everything, without burden unto you, I kept, myself—and will keep!

10 Como la verdad de Cristo es en mí, nadie me atajará esta jactancia en las partes de Acaya.

Truth of Christ is in me, that, this boasting, shall not be silenced unto me, in the regions of Achaia.

11 ¿Por qué? ¿por qué no os amo? Dios lo sabe.

Wherefore? Because I love you not? God, knoweth!

12 Mas lo que hago, haré aun; para quitar ocasión de los que querrían ocasión por ser hallados, en aquello de que se glorían, semejantes a nosotros.

But, what I am doing, I also will do, —that I may cut off the occasion of them who are wishing an occasion, that, wherein they are boasting themselves, they may be found even as also, we.

13 Porque los tales son falsos apóstoles, obreros fraudulentos que se transfiguran en apóstoles de Cristo.

For, such as these, are false apostles, deceitful workers, transfiguring themselves into apostles of Christ.

14 Y no es maravilla; porque el mismo Satanás se transfigura en ángel de luz.

And no marvel! for, Satan himself, doth transfigure himself into a messenger of light!

15 Así que no es mucho, si sus ministros se transfiguren como ministros de justicia, cuyo fin será conforme a sus obras.

No great thing, therefore, if, his ministers also, are transfiguring themselves as ministers of righteousness!—whose end, shall be according to their works.

16 Otra vez digo: Nadie me tenga por insensato; de otra manera, recibídme aun como a insensato, para que me jacte yo un poco.

Again, I say—let no one deem me to be, foolish; but, otherwise, at least, as foolish, give me welcome, that, I also, some little, may boast myself.

17 Lo que hablo, no lo hablo según el Señor, sino como con insensatez, en este atrevimiento de jactancia.

What I am saying, not according to the Lord, am I saying, but as in foolishness, —in this my boastful confidence!

18 Puesto que muchos se glorían según la carne: también yo me gloriaré.

Since, many, are boasting after the flesh, I also, will boast;

19 Porque de buena gana toleráis a los insensatos, siendo vosotros sabios;

For, gladly, do ye bear with the foolish, being [yourselves], discreet, —

20 Porque toleráis si alguien os pone en servidumbre, si alguien os devora, si alguien toma lo vuestro, si alguien se ensalza, si alguien os hiere en la cara.

For ye bear with it—if anyone enslaveth you, if any devoureth, if anyone taketh, if anyone lifteth himself up, if anyone, on the face, doth smite you!

21 Hablo en cuanto a la afrenta; como si nosotros hubiésemos sido débiles; mas en lo que otro tuviere osadía (hablo con insensatez) también yo tengo osadía.

By way of disparagement, am I speaking, —as though, we, had been weak! whereas, in whatsoever anyone dareth, in foolishness I speak, I also, dare: —

22 ¿Son ellos Hebreos? yo también soy. ¿Son Israelitas? yo también. ¿Son simiente de Abraham? también yo.

Hebrews, are they? I also, Israelites, are they? I also, seed of Abraham, are they? I also,

23 ¿Son ministros de Cristo? (sin cordura hablo) yo soy más: en trabajos más abundante, en azotes sobre medida, en cárceles más frecuentemente, en muertes, muchas veces.

Ministers of Christ, are they? As one deranged I am talking, I, above measure!—in toils, superabundantly, in prisons, superabundantly, in stripes, to excess, in deaths, oft, —

24 De los Judíos he recibido cinco cuarentenas de azotes, menos uno.

From Jews, five times, forty-save-one, have I received,

25 Tres veces he sido azotado con varas, una vez apedreado, tres veces he padecido naufragio, noche y día he estado en lo profundo de la mar.

Thrice, have I been beaten with rods, once, have I been stoned, thrice, have I been shipwrecked, a day and night, in the deep, have I spent;

26 En viajes muchas veces: en peligros de ríos, en peligros de ladrones, en peligros de los de mi nación, en peligros entre los Gentiles, en peligros en la ciudad, en peligros en el desierto, en peligros en la mar, en peligros entre falsos hermanos:

In journeyings oft, in perils of rivers, in perils of robbers, in perils from my own race, in perils from Gentiles, in perils in the city, in perils in the desert, in perils by the sea, in perils among false brethren,

27 En trabajo y fatiga, en muchas vigilias, en hambre y sed, en muchos ayunos, en frío y en desnudez:

in toil and hardship, in watchings, oft, in hunger and thirst, in fasting, oft, in cold and nakedness: —

28 Sin las cosas de fuera, lo que me sobreviene cada día, es a saber, el cuidado de todas las iglesias.

Apart from the things without, my daily care, —my anxiety for all the assemblies; —

29 ¿Quién desfallece, y yo no desfallezco? ¿Quién se ofende, y yo no me abraso?

Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is caused to stumble, and, I, am not burning?

30 Si es menester gloriarme, me gloriaré yo de las cosas que son de mis flaquezas.

If, to boast, is needful, in the things that concern my weakness, will I boast.

31 El Dios y Padre de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo, que es bendito por los siglos, sabe que no miento. (aiōn g165)

The God and Father of our Lord Jesus, knoweth—He who is blessed unto the ages—that I am not speaking falsely: (aiōn g165)

32 En Damasco, el gobernador por el rey Aretas guardaba la ciudad de los Damascenos queriendo prenderme;

In Damascus, the governor under Aretas the king, was guarding the city of Damascenes, to apprehend me, —

33 Y fui abajado del muro por una ventana, y me escapé de sus manos.

And, through a window, was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.
