1 Juan 1
1 Lo que era desde el principio, lo que hemos oído, lo que hemos visto con nuestros ojos, lo que hemos mirado, y nuestras manos han tocado, del Verbo de vida:
That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we for ourselves gazed upon, and our hands did handle, concerning the Word of Life, —
2 (Porque la vida fue manifestada; y lo vimos, y testificamos, y os anunciamos la vida eterna, la cual estaba con el Padre, y se nos ha manifestado: ) (aiōnios g166)
And, the Life, was made manifest, and we have seen, and are bearing witness, and announcing unto you, the Age-abiding Life, which, indeed, was with the Father, and was made manifest unto us; (aiōnios g166)
3 Lo que hemos visto y oído, eso os anunciamos para que también vosotros tengáis comunión con nosotros, y nuestra comunión verdaderamente es con el Padre, y con su Hijo Jesu Cristo.
That which we have seen and heard, are we announcing, even unto you, in order that, ye too, may have fellowship with us, and, our own fellowship also, may be with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
4 Y estas cosas os escribimos, para que vuestro gozo sea cumplido.
And, these things, are we writing, in order that, our joy, may be made full.
5 Pues éste es el mensaje que hemos oído de él mismo, y que os anunciamos a vosotros: Que Dios es luz, y no hay ningunas tinieblas en él.
And this is the message which we have heard from him, and are reporting unto you, —that, God, is, light, and in him is, no darkness at all.
6 Si nosotros dijéremos que tenemos comunión con él, y andamos en tinieblas, mentimos, y no hacemos la verdad.
If we say—We have, fellowship, with him! and, in darkness, are walking, we are dealing falsely, and not doing the truth;
7 Mas si andamos en la luz, como él está en la luz, tenemos comunión los unos con los otros, y la sangre de Jesu Cristo su Hijo nos limpia de todo pecado.
Whereas, if, in the light, we are walking, as, he, is in the light, we have, fellowship one with another, and, the blood of Jesus his Son, is cleansing us from all sin.
8 Si dijéremos que no tenemos pecado, engañámonos a nosotros mismos, y no hay verdad en nosotros.
If we say—Sin, have we none! we are deceiving, ourselves, and, the truth, is not in us.
9 Si confesamos nuestros pecados, él es fiel y justo para que nos perdone nuestros pecados, y nos limpie de toda maldad.
If we are confessing our sins, faithful, is he and, righteous—that he should forgive us our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
10 Si dijéremos que no hemos pecado, le hacemos a él mentiroso, y su palabra no está en nosotros.
If we say—We have not sinned! false, are we making, him, and, his word, is not in us.
