1 Corintios 5

1 Se oye por todas partes que hay entre vosotros fornicación, y tal fornicación cual ni aun se nombra entre los Gentiles, tanto que alguno tenga la mujer de su padre.

It is actually reported that there is sexual immorality among you, and such sexual immorality as is not even named among the Gentiles, that one has his father’s wife.

2 Y vosotros estáis hinchados, y no tuvisteis antes luto, para que fuese quitado de en medio de vosotros el que hizo tal obra.

You are arrogant, and didn’t mourn instead, that he who had done this deed might be removed from among you.

3 Porque yo ciertamente como ausente en cuerpo, mas presente en espíritu, ya he juzgado como presente a aquel, que esto así ha cometido:

For I most certainly, as being absent in body but present in spirit, have already, as though I were present, judged him who has done this thing.

4 En el nombre de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo, congregados vosotros y mi espíritu, con la facultad de nuestro Señor Jesu Cristo,

In the name of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah, when you are gathered together with my spirit with the power of our Lord Yeshua the Messiah,

5 El tal sea entregado a Satanás para muerte de la carne, a fin de que el espíritu sea salvo en el día del Señor Jesús.

you are to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Yeshua.

6 No es buena vuestra jactancia. ¿No sabéis que con un poco de levadura toda la masa se leuda?

Your boasting is not good. Don’t you know that a little yeast leavens the whole lump?

7 Limpiád pues la vieja levadura para que seáis nueva masa, como sois sin levadura; porque Cristo nuestra pascua ha sido sacrificado por nosotros.

Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Messiah, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place.

8 Así que hagamos la fiesta no en la vieja levadura, ni en la levadura de malicia y de maldad, sino en panes por leudar de sinceridad y de verdad.

Therefore let’s keep the feast, not with old yeast, neither with the yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

9 Os he escrito por carta, que no os acompañéis con los fornicarios:

I wrote to you in my letter to have no company with sexual sinners;

10 Mas no del todo con los fornicarios de este mundo, o con los avaros, o con los ladrones, o idólatras; de otra suerte os sería menester salir del mundo.

yet not at all meaning with the sexual sinners of this world, or with the covetous and extortionists, or with idolaters, for then you would have to leave the world.

11 Mas ahora os he escrito, que no os acompañéis, si alguno llamándose hermano fuere fornicario, o avaro, o idólatra, o maldiciente, o borracho, o ladrón, con el tal ni aun comáis.

But as it is, I wrote to you not to associate with anyone who is called a brother who is a sexual sinner, or covetous, or an idolater, or a slanderer, or a drunkard, or an extortionist. Don’t even eat with such a person.

12 Porque ¿qué me va a mí en juzgar también de los que están fuera? ¿no juzgáis vosotros de los que están dentro?

For what do I have to do with also judging those who are outside? Don’t you judge those who are within?

13 Mas de los que están fuera, Dios juzga. Quitád pues de entre vosotros al malvado.

But those who are outside, God judges. “Put away the wicked man from among yourselves.”
