1 Corintios 2
1 Así que, hermanos, cuando yo vine a vosotros, no vine con excelencia de palabra o de sabiduría, para anunciaros el testimonio de Cristo.
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God.
2 Porque había determinado no saber cosa alguna entre vosotros, sino a Jesu Cristo, y a éste crucificado.
For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
3 Y estuve yo entre vosotros con flaqueza, y con temor, y mucho temblor;
And I was with you in weakness, and in fear, and in much trembling.
4 Y ni mi palabra ni mi predicación fue con palabras persuasivas de humana sabiduría, sino con demonstración del Espíritu y con poder;
And my speech and my preaching [was] not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power:
5 Para que vuestra fe no sea en sabiduría de hombres, mas en poder de Dios.
That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 Empero hablamos sabiduría entre los que son perfectos; y sabiduría, no de este siglo, ni de los príncipes de este siglo, que vienen a nada; (aiōn g165)
Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: (aiōn g165)
7 Mas hablamos la sabiduría misteriosa de Dios, es a saber, la sabiduría ocultada: la que Dios predestinó antes de los siglos para nuestra gloria, (aiōn g165)
But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, [even] the hidden [wisdom], which God ordained before the world unto our glory: (aiōn g165)
8 La que ninguno de los príncipes de este siglo conoció; porque si la conocieran, nunca crucificaran al Señor de gloria; (aiōn g165)
Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known [it], they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. (aiōn g165)
9 Antes, como está escrito: Ni ojo vio, ni oído oyó, ni en corazón de hombre subió lo que Dios preparó para los que le aman.
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
10 Empero Dios nos lo reveló a nosotros por su Espíritu; porque el Espíritu todo lo comprende, aun las profundidades de Dios.
But God hath revealed [them] unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.
11 Porque ¿quién de los hombres sabe las cosas que son del hombre, sino el espíritu del mismo hombre que está en él? así tampoco nadie conoció las cosas que son de Dios, sino el Espíritu de Dios.
For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Y nosotros hemos recibido no el espíritu del mundo, sino el Espíritu que es de Dios; para que conozcamos lo que Dios nos ha dado.
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
13 Lo cual también hablamos no con palabras que enseña la humana sabiduría, sino en las que enseña el Espíritu Santo, acomodando lo espiritual a lo espiritual.
Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.
14 Mas el hombre natural no percibe las cosas que son del Espíritu de Dios; porque le son insensatez; ni las puede conocer, porque son espiritualmente examinadas.
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know [them], because they are spiritually discerned.
15 Empero el espiritual examina (ciertamente) todas las cosas; mas él de nadie es examinado.
But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
16 Porque ¿quién conoció la mente del Señor, para que le instruyese? Mas nosotros tenemos entendida la mente de Cristo.
For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
