Ezequiel 39

1 “Tú, hijo de hombre, profetiza contra Gog y di: El Señor Yahvé dice: “He aquí que yo estoy contra ti, Gog, príncipe de Rosh, Meshech y Tubal.

“You, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, ‘The Lord GOD says: “Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal.

2 Te haré girar, te guiaré y te haré subir desde los confines del norte, y te llevaré a los montes de Israel.

I will turn you around, will lead you on, and will cause you to come up from the uttermost parts of the north; and I will bring you onto the mountains of Israel.

3 Haré que tu arco salga de tu mano izquierda, y haré que tus flechas caigan de tu mano derecha.

I will strike your bow out of your left hand, and will cause your arrows to fall out of your right hand.

4 Caerás sobre los montes de Israel, tú y todas tus hordas, y los pueblos que están contigo. Te entregaré a las aves voraces de todo tipo y a los animales del campo para que te devoren.

You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you, and all your hordes, and the peoples who are with you. I will give you to the ravenous birds of every sort and to the animals of the field to be devoured.

5 Caerás en el campo abierto, porque yo lo he dicho”, dice el Señor Yahvé.

You will fall on the open field, for I have spoken it,” says the Lord GOD.

6 “Enviaré un fuego sobre Magog y sobre los que habitan con seguridad en las islas. Entonces sabrán que yo soy Yahvé.

“I will send a fire on Magog and on those who dwell securely in the islands. Then they will know that I am the LORD.

7 “‘“Daré a conocer mi santo nombre entre mi pueblo Israel. No permitiré que se profane más mi santo nombre. Entonces las naciones sabrán que yo soy Yahvé, el Santo en Israel.

“‘“I will make my holy name known amongst my people Israel. I won’t allow my holy name to be profaned any more. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel.

8 He aquí que viene, y se hará”, dice el Señor Yahvé. “Este es el día del que he hablado.

Behold, it comes, and it will be done,” says the Lord GOD. “This is the day about which I have spoken.

9 “‘“Los que habitan en las ciudades de Israel saldrán y harán fuego con las armas y las quemarán, tanto los escudos como las rodelas, los arcos y las flechas, los palos de guerra y las lanzas, y harán fuego con ellas durante siete años;

“‘“Those who dwell in the cities of Israel will go out and will make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the war clubs and the spears, and they will make fires with them for seven years;

10 de modo que no tomarán madera del campo, ni cortarán ninguna de los bosques, porque harán fuego con las armas. Saquearán a los que los saquearon, y robarán a los que los robaron”, dice el Señor Yahvé.

so that they will take no wood out of the field, and not cut down any out of the forests; for they will make fires with the weapons. They will plunder those who plundered them, and rob those who robbed them,” says the Lord GOD.

11 “‘“Sucederá en aquel día que daré a Gog un lugar de sepultura en Israel, el valle de los que pasan al este del mar; y detendrá a los que pasan. Allí enterrarán a Gog y a toda su multitud, y lo llamarán ‘El valle de Hamón Gog’.

“‘“It will happen in that day, that I will give to Gog a place for burial in Israel, the valley of those who pass through on the east of the sea; and it will stop those who pass through. They will bury Gog and all his multitude there, and they will call it ‘The valley of Hamon Gog’.

12 “‘“La casa de Israel los enterrará durante siete meses, para que limpien la tierra.

“‘“The house of Israel will be burying them for seven months, that they may cleanse the land.

13 Sí, todo el pueblo de la tierra los enterrará; y se harán famosos el día en que yo sea glorificado”, dice el Señor Yahvé.

Yes, all the people of the land will bury them; and they will become famous in the day that I will be glorified,” says the Lord GOD.

14 “‘“Se apartarán hombres de trabajo continuo que pasarán por la tierra. Los que pasen irán con los que entierren a los que queden en la superficie de la tierra, para limpiarla. Al cabo de siete meses registrarán.

“‘“They will set apart men of continual employment who will pass through the land. Those who pass through will go with those who bury those who remain on the surface of the land, to cleanse it. After the end of seven months they will search.

15 Los que busquen por la tierra pasarán por ella; y cuando alguien vea un hueso de hombre, pondrá una señal junto a él, hasta que los enterradores lo hayan enterrado en el valle de Hamón Gog.

Those who search through the land will pass through; and when anyone sees a man’s bone, then he will set up a sign by it, until the undertakers have buried it in the valley of Hamon Gog.

16 Hamón será también el nombre de una ciudad. Así limpiarán la tierra”.

Hamonah will also be the name of a city. Thus they will cleanse the land.”’

17 “Tú, hijo de hombre, el Señor Yahvé dice: “Habla a las aves de toda clase, y a todo animal del campo: “Reúnanse y vengan; reúnanse de todas partes a mi sacrificio que yo sacrifico para ustedes, un gran sacrificio en los montes de Israel, para que coman carne y beban sangre.

“You, son of man, the Lord GOD says: ‘Speak to the birds of every sort, and to every animal of the field, “Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice on the mountains of Israel, that you may eat meat and drink blood.

18 Comeréis la carne de los poderosos y beberéis la sangre de los príncipes de la tierra, de los carneros, de los corderos, de los machos cabríos y de los toros, todos ellos engordados de Basán.

You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bulls, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

19 Comeréis grasa hasta saciaros, y beberéis sangre hasta embriagaros, de mi sacrificio que he sacrificado para vosotros.

You shall eat fat until you are full, and drink blood until you are drunk, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

20 Te saciarás en mi mesa de caballos y auriculares, de hombres poderosos y de todos los hombres de guerra, dice el Señor Yahvé.’

You shall be filled at my table with horses and charioteers, with mighty men, and with all men of war,” says the Lord GOD.’

21 “Pondré mi gloria entre las naciones. Entonces todas las naciones verán mi juicio que he ejecutado, y mi mano que he puesto sobre ellas.

“I will set my glory amongst the nations. Then all the nations will see my judgement that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid on them.

22 Entonces la casa de Israel sabrá que yo soy el Señor, su Dios, a partir de ese día.

So the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God, from that day and forward.

23 Las naciones sabrán que la casa de Israel fue llevada al cautiverio por su iniquidad, porque se rebeló contra mí, y yo les oculté mi rostro; por eso los entregué en manos de sus adversarios, y todos cayeron a espada.

The nations will know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity, because they trespassed against me, and I hid my face from them; so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they all fell by the sword.

24 Hice con ellos según su impureza y según sus transgresiones. Escondí mi rostro de ellos.

I did to them according to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions. I hid my face from them.

25 “Por eso dice el Señor Yahvé: ‘Ahora voy a revertir el cautiverio de Jacob y me apiadaré de toda la casa de Israel. Seré celoso de mi santo nombre.

“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Now I will reverse the captivity of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel. I will be jealous for my holy name.

26 Se olvidarán de su vergüenza y de todas sus transgresiones con las que me han ofendido, cuando habiten con seguridad en su tierra. Nadie les hará temer

They will forget their shame and all their trespasses by which they have trespassed against me, when they dwell securely in their land. No one will make them afraid

27 cuando los haya hecho volver de entre los pueblos, los haya reunido de entre las tierras de sus enemigos, y me haya mostrado santo entre ellos a la vista de muchas naciones.

when I have brought them back from the peoples, gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am shown holy amongst them in the sight of many nations.

28 Sabrán que yo soy el Señor, su Dios, porque los hice ir al cautiverio entre las naciones y los reuní en su propia tierra. Entonces ya no dejaré cautivo a ninguno de ellos.

They will know that I am the LORD their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity amongst the nations, and have gathered them to their own land. Then I will leave none of them captive any more.

29 No esconderé más mi rostro de ellos, porque he derramado mi Espíritu sobre la casa de Israel’, dice el Señor Yahvé”.

I won’t hide my face from them any more, for I have poured out my Spirit on the house of Israel,’ says the Lord GOD.”
