Isaías 65
1 Me dejé consultar por gente que ni siquiera me hacía preguntas; me dejé encontrar por gente que ni siquiera me buscaba. A una nación que ni siquiera me reclamaba, le dije: ¡Aquí estoy, aquí estoy!
I have been inquired of by those who asked not, I have been found by those who sought Me not, I have said, 'Behold Me, behold Me,' Unto a nation not calling in My name.
2 Extendí mis manos todo el día, suplicando a un pueblo obstinado que sigue malos caminos, haciendo lo que quiere.
I have spread out My hands all the day Unto an apostate people, Who are going in the way not good after their own thoughts.
3 Este pueblo siempre me hace enojar, porque presenta sacrificios a los ídolos en sus jardines sagrados y ofrece incienso en altares paganos hechos de ladrillo.
The people who are provoking Me to anger, To My face continually, Sacrificing in gardens, and making perfume on the bricks:
4 Pasan la noche entre las tumbas y en las cuevas, comiendo cerdo y cocinando otras carnes impuras.
Who are dwelling among sepulchres, And lodge in reserved places, Who are eating flesh of the sow, And a piece of abominable things — their vessels.
5 Dicen a los demás: ¡Mantengan la distancia! No te acerques a mí, pues soy demasiado santo para que me toques. ¡Esta gente es como el humo en mis narices, un hedor que arde todo el día!
Who are saying, 'Keep to thyself, come not nigh to me, For I have declared thee unholy.' These [are] a smoke in Mine anger, A fire burning all the day.
6 ¡Mira, todo está escrito delante de mí! No me voy a callar. Voy a pagarles arrojando su castigo en su regazo.
Lo, it is written before Me: 'I am not silent, but have recompensed; And I have recompensed into their bosom,
7 Voy a pagarles por sus propios pecados y por los de sus antepasados, dice el Señor, porque quemaron incienso en los montes y me ridiculizaron en las colinas. Voy a medir en sus regazos el pago completo por lo que han hecho.
Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, said Jehovah, Who have made perfume on the mountains, And on the heights have reproached Me, And I have measured their former work into their bosom.'
8 Esto es lo que dice el Señor: Es como cuando queda un poco de jugo en un racimo de uvas y la gente dice: No te deshagas de todo; todavía hay algo bueno en él, yo haré lo mismo con mis siervos: no los destruiré a todos.
Thus said Jehovah: As the new wine is found in the cluster, And one hath said, 'Destroy it not for a blessing [is] in it,' So I do for My servants' sake, not to destroy the whole.
9 Me aseguraré de que Jacob tenga descendientes, y gente de Judá que pueda apropiarse de mi montaña. Mis elegidos, mis siervos, serán dueños de la tierra y vivirán allí.
And I have brought out from Jacob a seed, And from Judah a possessor of My mount, And possess it do My chosen ones, And My servants do dwell there.
10 Sarón se convertirá en un pasto para los rebaños, y el Valle de Acor en un lugar de descanso para los rebaños, para mi pueblo que me sigue.
And Sharon hath been for the habitation of a flock, And the valley of Achor for the lying down of a herd, For My people who have sought Me.
11 Pero los que abandonan al Señor y se olvidan de mi monte santo, los que preparan fiestas para el dios de la buena suerte, los que llenan jarras de vino mezclado para el dios del destino,
And ye [are] those forsaking Jehovah, Who are forgetting My holy mountain, Who are setting in array for Gad a table, And who are filling for Meni a mixture.
12 Me aseguraré de que tu destino sea ser asesinado por la espada. Todos ustedes se inclinarán para ser masacrados, porque los llamé, pero no respondieron; les hablé, pero no escucharon. En lugar de eso, hicieron lo que es malo a mis ojos, eligiendo hacer lo que yo odio.
And I have numbered you for the sword, And all of you for slaughter bow down, Because I called, and ye have not answered, I have spoken, and ye have not hearkened, And ye do the evil thing in Mine eyes, And on that which I desired not — fixed.
13 Así que esto es lo que dice el Señor: Mis siervos comerán, pero ustedes tendrán hambre. Mis siervos beberán, pero ustedes tendrán sed. Mis siervos festejarán, pero ustedes se avergonzarán.
Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, My servants do eat, and ye do hunger, Lo, My servants do drink, and ye do thirst, Lo, My servants rejoice, and ye are ashamed,
14 ¡Escuchen! Mis siervos gritarán porque están muy contentos por dentro, pero tú gritarás con el más profundo dolor, aullando porque tu espíritu está roto.
Lo, My servants sing from joy of heart, And ye cry from pain of heart, And from breaking of spirit ye do howl.
15 Tu nombre sólo será usado como una maldición por mis elegidos, porque el Señor Dios te matará y dará a sus siervos otro nombre.
And ye have left your name For an oath for My chosen ones, And the Lord Jehovah hath put thee to death, And to His servants He giveth another name.
16 Quien pida una bendición o haga un juramento en la tierra, lo hará por el único Dios verdadero, porque he olvidado los problemas del pasado: ya no los miro.
So that he who is blessing himself in the earth, Doth bless himself In the God of faithfulness, And he who is swearing in the earth, Doth swear by the God of faithfulness, Because the former distresses have been forgotten, And because they have been hid from Mine eyes.
17 ¡Mira! Voy a crear cielos nuevos y una tierra nueva. No se recordarán las cosas pasadas; no se le pasarán a nadie por la cabeza.
For, lo, I am creating new heavens, and a new earth, And the former things are not remembered, Nor do they ascend on the heart.
18 Alégrense y sean felices por siempre y para siempre en lo que voy a crear, porque haré de Jerusalén un lugar encantador, y de su gente una verdadera alegría.
But joy ye, and rejoice for ever, that I [am] Creator, For, lo, I am creating Jerusalem a rejoicing, And her people a joy.
19 Me alegraré mucho por Jerusalén; celebraré en medio de mi pueblo. El sonido del llanto y los gritos de auxilio no volverán a oírse allí.
And I have rejoiced in Jerusalem, And have joyed in My people, And not heard in her any more Is the voice of weeping, and the voice of crying.
20 Ningún bebé morirá a los pocos días, y ningún adulto morirá sin haber vivido una larga vida. Los que lleguen a los cien años serán considerados como simples niños, y los que no lleguen a los cien serán vistos como si estuvieran bajo una maldición.
There is not thence any more a suckling of days, And an aged man who doth not complete his days, For the youth a hundred years old dieth, And the sinner, a hundred years old, is lightly esteemed.
21 Construirán casas y vivirán en ellas; comerán el fruto de las viñas que ellos mismos plantaron.
And they have built houses, and inhabited, And planted vineyards, and eaten their fruit.
22 Ya no construirán casas para que otros vivan en ellas; ya no plantarán para que otros coman. Porque mi pueblo vivirá tanto como los árboles; mis elegidos vivirán lo suficiente para disfrutar de todo lo que han trabajado.
They do not build, and another inhabit, They do not plant, and another eat, For as the days of a tree [are] the days of My people, And the work of their hands wear out do My chosen ones.
23 No trabajarán para nada, y no tendrán hijos destinados al desastre. Porque son personas que viven bajo la bendición del Señor, y sus hijos también lo serán.
They labour not for a vain thing, Nor do they bring forth for trouble, For the seed of the blessed of Jehovah [are] they, And their offspring with them.
24 Yo responderé incluso antes de que me pregunten. Mientras aún están hablando, les responderé.
And it hath come to pass, They do not yet call, and I answer, They are yet speaking, and I hear.
25 El lobo y el cordero comerán juntos. El león comerá paja como el buey. Las serpientes comerán polvo. Nada causará daño ni perjuicio en ninguna parte de mi santo monte, porque la tierra estará llena del conocimiento del Señor, así como el agua llena el mar.
Wolf and lamb do feed as one, And a lion as an ox eateth straw, As to the serpent — dust [is] its food, They do no evil, nor destroy, In all My holy mountain, said Jehovah!
