Salmos 80

1 Para el maestro de coro. Por el tono de (como) azucenas (las palabras) de la Ley, Salmo de Asaf. Pastor de Israel, escucha: Tú, que como un rebaño guías a José; Tú, que te sientas sobre querubines,

To victorie; this salm is witnessing of Asaph for lilies. Thou that gouernest Israel, yyue tent; that leedist forth Joseph as a scheep. Thou that sittist on cherubym; be schewid bifore Effraym,

2 muéstrate a los ojos de Efraím, de Benjamín y de Manasés. Despierta tu potencia, y ven a salvarnos.

Beniamyn, and Manasses. Stire thi power, and come thou; that thou make vs saaf.

3 ¡Oh Dios de los ejércitos, restáuranos! Haz resplandecer tu Rostro, y seremos salvos.

God of vertues, turne thou vs; and schewe thi face, and we schulen be saaf.

4 ¡Oh Yahvé, Dios de los ejércitos!, ¿hasta cuándo seguirás airado contra la oración de tu pueblo?

Lord God of vertues; hou longe schalt thou be wrooth on the preier of thi seruaunt?

5 Lo has alimentado con pan de llanto; le has dado a beber lágrimas en abundancia.

Hou longe schalt thou feede vs with the breed of teeris; and schalt yyue drynke to vs with teeris in mesure?

6 Nos has hecho objeto de contienda entre nuestros vecinos; y nuestros enemigos se burlan de nosotros.

Thou hast set vs in to ayenseiyng to oure neiyboris; and oure enemyes han scornyde vs.

7 ¡Oh Dios de los ejércitos, restáuranos! Haz resplandecer tu Rostro, y seremos salvos.

God of vertues, turne thou vs; and schewe thi face, and we schulen be saaf.

8 De Egipto trasladaste tu viña, arrojaste a los gentiles, y la plantaste;

Thou translatidist a vyne fro Egipt; thou castidist out hethene men, and plauntidist it.

9 preparaste el suelo para ella, y echó raíces y llenó la tierra.

Thou were leeder of the weie in the siyt therof; and thou plauntidist the rootis therof, and it fillide the lond.

10 Los montes se cubrieron con su sombra, y con sus ramas los cedros altísimos.

The schadewe therof hilide hillis; and the braunchis therof filliden the cedris of God.

11 Hasta el mar extendió sus sarmientos y hasta el gran río sus vástagos.

It streiyte forth hise siouns til to the see, and the generacioun ther of `til to the flood.

12 ¿Cómo es que derribaste sus vallados para que la vendimien cuantos pasan por el camino;

Whi hast thou destried the wal therof; and alle men that goen forth bi the weie gaderiden awei the grapis therof?

13 la devaste el jabalí salvaje y las bestias del campo la devoren?

A boor of the wode distriede it; and a singuler wielde beeste deuouride it.

14 Retorna, oh Dios de los ejércitos, inclínate desde el cielo, y mira, y visita esta viña,

God of vertues, be thou turned; biholde thou fro heuene, and se, and visite this vyne.

15 la cepa que tu diestra plantó, y el retoño que para ti conformaste.

And make thou it perfit, which thi riythond plauntide; and biholde thou on the sone of man, which thou hast confermyd to thee.

16 Perezcan ante la amenaza de tu Rostro quienes la quemaron y la cortaron.

Thingis brent with fier, and vndurmyned; schulen perische for the blamyng of thi cheer.

17 Pósese tu mano sobre el Varón que está a tu diestra; sobre el Hijo del hombre que para Ti fortaleciste.

Thin hond be maad on the man of thi riythond; and on the sone of man, whom thou hast confermed to thee.

18 Entonces no volveremos a apartarnos de Ti; Tú nos vivificarás, y nosotros proclamaremos tu Nombre.

And we departiden not fro thee; thou schalt quykene vs, and we schulen inwardli clepe thi name.

19 ¡Oh Dios de los ejércitos, restáuranos! Haz resplandecer tu Rostro, y seremos salvos.
