Salmos 66

1 Al maestro de coro. Cántico. Salmo.

To the victorie, the song of salm.

2 Aclamad a Dios con júbilo, tierras todas; cantad salmos a la gloria de su Nombre; dadle el honor de la alabanza.

Al the erthe, make ye ioie hertli to God, seie ye salm to his name; yyue ye glorie to his heriyng.

3 Decid a Dios: “¡Cuan asombrosas son tus obras!” Aun tus enemigos te lisonjean por la grandeza de tu poder.

Seie ye to God, Lord, thi werkis ben dredeful; in the multitude of thi vertu thin enemyes schulen lie to thee.

4 Prostérnese ante Ti la tierra entera y cante tu Nombre.

God, al the erthe worschipe thee, and synge to thee; seie it salm to thi name.

5 Venid y contemplad las hazañas de Dios; sublime en sus designios sobre los hombres.

Come ye and se ye the werkis of God; ferdful in counseils on the sones of men.

6 Trocó en tierra seca el mar; el río fue cruzado a pie enjuto. Alegrémonos en Él.

Which turnede the see in to drie lond; in the flood thei schulen passe with foot, there we schulen be glad in hym.

7 Reina con su poderío para siempre; sus ojos observan a las naciones, para que los rebeldes no levanten cabeza.

Which is Lord in his vertu withouten ende, hise iyen biholden on folkis; thei that maken scharp be not enhaunsid in hem silf.

8 Bendecid, oh naciones, a nuestro Dios, y haced resonar su alabanza,

Ye hethen men, blesse oure God; and make ye herd the vois of his preising.

9 porque Él mantuvo en vida a nuestra alma, y no dejó que vacilara nuestro pie.

That hath set my soule to lijf, and yaf not my feet in to stiryng.

10 Pues Tú nos probaste, oh Dios, nos probaste por el fuego, como se hace con la plata.

For thou, God, hast preued vs; thou hast examyned vs bi fier, as siluer is examyned.

11 Nos dejaste caer en el lazo; pusiste un peso aplastante sobre nuestras espaldas.

Thou leddist vs in to a snare, thou puttidist tribulaciouns in oure bak;

12 Hiciste pasar hombres sobre nuestra cabeza; atravesamos por fuego y por agua; mas nos sacaste a refrigerio.

thou settidist men on oure heedis. We passiden bi fier and water; and thou leddist vs out in to refreschyng.

13 Entraré en tu casa con holocausto, y te cumpliré mis votos,

I schal entre in to thin hous in brent sacrifices; Y schal yelde to thee my vowis,

14 los que mis labios pronunciaron y prometió mi boca en medio de mi tribulación.

which my lippis spaken distinctly. And my mouth spake in my tribulacioun;

15 Te ofreceré pingües holocaustos, con grosura de carneros; te inmolaré bueyes y cabritillos.

Y shal offre to thee brent sacrificis ful of merowy, with the brennyng of rammes; Y schal offre to thee oxis with buckis of geet.

16 Venid, escuchad todos los que teméis a Dios; os contaré cuan grandes cosas ha hecho por mí.

Alle ye that dreden God, come and here, and Y schal telle; hou grete thingis he hath do to my soule.

17 Clamé hacia Él con mi boca, y su alabanza estaba pronta en mi lengua.

I criede to hym with my mouth; and Y ioyede fulli vndir my tunge.

18 Si mi corazón hubiera tenido en vista la iniquidad, el Señor no me habría escuchado;

If Y bihelde wickidnesse in myn herte; the Lord schal not here.

19 pero Dios oyó; atendió a la voz de mi plegaria.

Therfor God herde; and perseyuede the vois of my bisechyng.

20 Bendito sea Dios, que no despreció mi oración y no retiró de mí su misericordia.

Blessid be God; that remeued not my preyer, and `took not awei his merci fro me.
