Juan 15

1 “Yo soy la vid verdadera, y mi Padre es el viñador.

I am the true vyne and my father ys an husbande man.

2 Todo sarmiento que, estando en Mí, no lleva fruto, lo quita, pero todo sarmiento que lleva fruto, lo limpia, para que lleve todavía más fruto.

Every braunche that beareth not frute in me he will take awaye. And every braunche that beareth frute will he pourge yt it maye bringe moare frute.

3 Vosotros estáis ya limpios, gracias a la palabra que Yo os he hablado.

Now are ye cleane thorow ye wordes which I have spoke vnto you.

4 Permaneced en Mí, y Yo en vosotros. Así como el sarmiento no puede por sí mismo llevar fruto, si no permanece en la vid, así tampoco vosotros, si no permanecéis en Mí.

Byde in me and let me byde in you. As ye braunche canot beare frute of it sylfe excepte it byde in the vyne: no more can ye excepte ye abyde in me.

5 Yo soy la vid, vosotros los sarmientos. Quien permanece en Mí, y Yo en él, lleva mucho fruto, porque separados de Mí no podéis hacer nada.

I am the vyne and ye are the braunches. He that abydeth in me and I in him the same bringeth forth moche frute. For with out me can ye do nothinge.

6 Si alguno no permanece en Mí, es arrojado fuera como los sarmientos, y se seca; después los recogen y los echan al fuego, y se queman.

Yf a man byde not in me he ys cast forthe as a braunche and is wyddered: and men gadder it and cast it into the fyre and it burneth.

7 Si vosotros permanecéis en Mí, y mis palabras permanecen en vosotros, todo lo que queráis, pedidlo, y lo tendréis:

Yf ye byde in me and my wordes also byde in you: axe what ye will and it shalbe done to you.

8 En esto es glorificado mi Padre: que llevéis mucho fruto, y seréis discípulos míos”.

Heare in is my father glorified that ye beare moche frute and be made my disciples.

9 “Como mi Padre me amó, así Yo os he amado: permaneced en mi amor.

As the father hath loved me eve so have I leved you. Continue in my love.

10 Si conserváis mis mandamientos, permaneceréis en mi amor, lo mismo que Yo, habiendo conservado los mandamientos de mi Padre, permanezco en su amor.

Yf ye shall kepe my comaudemetes ye shall byde in my love eve as I have kept my fathers comaundementes and byde in his love.

11 Os he dicho estas cosas, para que mi propio gozo esté en vosotros y vuestro gozo sea cumplido.

These thinges have I spoken vnto you yt my ioye myght remayne in you and that youre ioye might be full.

12 Mi mandamiento es que os améis unos a otros, como Yo os he amado.

This is my commaundement that ye love togedder as I have loved you.

13 Nadie puede tener amor más grande que dar la vida por sus amigos.

Gretter love then this hath no man then that a man bestowe his lyfe for his frendes.

14 Vosotros sois mis amigos, si hacéis esto que os mando.

Ye are my fredes yf ye do whatsoever I commaunde you.

15 Ya no os llamo más siervos, porque el siervo no sabe lo que hace su señor, sino que os he llamado amigos, porque todo lo que aprendí de mi Padre, os lo he dado a conocer.

Hence forth call I you not servauntes: for the servaunt knoweth not what his Lorde doeth. But you have I called frendes: for all thinges that I have hearde of my father I have opened to you.

16 Vosotros no me escogisteis a Mí; pero Yo os escogí, y os he designado para que vayáis, y llevéis fruto, y vuestro fruto permanezca; para que el Padre os dé todo lo que le pidáis en mi nombre.

Ye have not chosen me but I have chosen you and ordeyned you that ye go and bringe forthe frute and that youre frute remayne that whatsoever ye shall axe of the father in my name he shulde geve it you.

17 Estas cosas os mando, para que os améis unos a otros”.

This comaunde I you that ye love to gedder.

18 “Si el mundo os odia, sabed que me ha odiado a Mí antes que a vosotros.

Yf ye worlde hate you ye knowe that he hated me before he hated you.

19 Si fuerais del mundo, el mundo amaría lo suyo; pero como vosotros no sois del mundo —porque Yo os he entresacado del mundo— el mundo os odia.

Yf ye were of the worlde ye worlde wolde love his awne. How be it because ye are not of ye worlde but I have chosen you out of the worlde therfore hateth you the worlde.

20 Acordaos de esta palabra que os dije: No es el siervo más grande que su Señor. Si me persiguieron a Mí, también os perseguirán a vosotros; si observaron mi palabra, observarán también la vuestra.

Remember the sayinge that I sayde vnto you: the servaute is not greater then his lorde. Yf they have persecuted me so will they persecute you Yf they have kept my sayinge so will they kepe youres.

21 Pero os harán todo esto a causa de mi nombre, porque no conocen al que me envió.

But all these thinges will they do vnto you for my names sake because they have not knowen him that sent me.

22 Si Yo hubiera venido sin hacerles oír mi palabra, no tendrían pecado, pero ahora no tienen excusa por su pecado.

If I had not come and spoken vnto them they shulde not have had synne: but now have they nothinge to cloke their synne with all.

23 Quien me odia a Mí odia también a mi Padre.

He that hateth me hateth my father.

24 Si Yo no hubiera hecho en medio de ellos las obras que nadie ha hecho, no tendrían pecado, mas ahora han visto, y me han odiado, lo mismo que a mi Padre.

If I had not done workes amoge the which none other ma dyd they had not had synne. But now have they sene and yet have hated bothe me and my father:

25 Pero es para que se cumpla la palabra escrita en su Ley: «Me odiaron sin causa».

eve that the sayinge myght be fulfilled that is written in theyr lawe: they hated me wtout a cause.

26 Cuando venga el Intercesor, que os enviaré desde el Padre, el Espíritu de verdad, que procede del Padre, Él dará testimonio de Mí.

But when the comforter is come whom I will sende vnto you fro the father which is the sprete of truthe which proceadeth of the father he shall testifie of me.

27 Y vosotros también dad testimonio, pues desde el principio estáis conmigo”.

And ye shall beare witnes also because ye have bene with me from the begynninge.
