Éxodo 7
1 Dijo Yahvé a Moisés: “He aquí que te he constituido dios para el Faraón, y Aarón, tu hermano, será tu profeta,
And the Lord seide to Moises, Lo! Y haue maad thee the god of Farao; and Aaron, thi brother, schal be thi prophete.
2 al cual dirás todo lo que Yo te mandare; y Aarón, tu hermano, se lo dirá al Faraón, a fin de que deje salir de su país a los hijos de Israel.
Thou schalt speke to Aaron alle thingis whiche Y comaunde to thee, and he schal speke to Farao, that he delyuere the sones of Israel fro his hond.
3 Yo, entretanto, endureceré el corazón del Faraón, y multiplicaré mis señales y mis prodigios en el país de Egipto.
But Y schal make hard his herte, and Y schal multiplie my signes and merueils in the lond of Egipt, and he schal not here you;
4 El Faraón no os escuchará, pero Yo pondré mi mano sobre Egipto, y sacaré de la tierra de Egipto a mi ejército, mi pueblo, los hijos de Israel a fuerza de severos juicios.
and Y schal sende myn hond on Egipt, and Y schal lede out myn oost, and my puple, the sones of Israel, fro the lond of Egipt bi mooste domes;
5 Y conocerán los egipcios que Yo soy Yahvé, cuando extienda mi mano sobre Egipto y saque de en medio de ellos a los hijos de Israel.”
and Egipcians schulen wite, that Y am the Lord, which haue holde forth myn hond on Egipt, and haue led out of the myddis of hem the sones of Israel.
6 Lo hicieron Moisés y Aarón. Como les había mandado Yahvé, así hicieron.
And so Moises dide and Aaron; as the Lord comaundide, so thei diden.
7 Tenía Moisés ochenta años, y Aarón ochenta y tres, cuando hablaron al Faraón.
Forsothe Moyses was of fourescoor yeer, and Aaron was of fourescoor yeer and thre, whanne thei spaken to Farao.
8 Después habló Yahvé a Moisés y a Aarón, y dijo:
And the Lord seide to Moises and to Aaron,
9 “Cuando el Faraón os dijere: Haced algún milagro en favor vuestro, dirás a Aarón: Toma tu vara y échala delante del Faraón, y se convertirá en serpiente.”
Whanne Farao schal seie to you, Schewe ye signes to vs, thou schalt seie to Aaron, Take thi yerde, and caste forth it before Farao, and be it turned into a serpent.
10 Se presentaron Moisés y Aarón al Faraón, e hicieron según la orden de Yahvé: Aarón echó su vara delante del Faraón y delante de sus servidores, la cual se convirtió en serpiente.
And so Moises and Aaron entriden to Farao, and diden as the Lord comaundide; and Aaron took the yeerde, and castide forth bifore Farao and hise seruauntis, which yerde was turned in to a serpent.
11 Mas el Faraón llamó igualmente a los sabios y a los hechiceros, y también ellos, los magos egipcios, hicieron con sus encantamientos las mismas cosas.
Forsothe Farao clepide wise men, and witchis, and thei also diden bi enchauntementis of Egipt, and bi summe priuy thingis in lijk maner;
12 Echaron ellos cada cual su vara, y se convirtieron en serpientes; pero la vara de Aarón se tragó las varas de ellos.
and alle castiden forth her yerdis, whiche weren turned in to dragouns; but the yerde of Aaron deuouride `the yerdis of hem.
13 Sin embargo, se endureció el corazón del Faraón, de manera que no los escuchó, como había dicho Yahvé.
And the herte of Farao was maad hard, and he herde not hem, as the Lord comaundide.
14 Entonces dijo Yahvé a Moisés: “El corazón del Faraón es duro; se niega a dejar salir al pueblo.
Forsothe the Lord seide to Moyses, The herte of Farao is maad greuouse, he nyle delyuere the puple;
15 Preséntate, pues, al Faraón por la mañana, cuando salga a las aguas. Tú lo esperarás a la orilla del río, y tomarás en tu mano la vara que se convirtió en serpiente.
go thou to hym eerli; lo! he schal go out to the watris, and thou schalt stonde in the comyng of hym on the brynke of the flood; and thou schalt take in thin honde the yerde, that was turned into a dragoun,
16 Le dirás: ‘Yahvé, el Dios de los hebreos, me ha enviado a ti con esta orden: Deja ir a mi pueblo, a fin de que me den culto en el desierto; y he aquí que no has escuchado hasta ahora.
and thou schalt seie to hym, The Lord God of Ebrews sente me to thee, and seide, Delyuere thou my puple, that it make sacrifice to me in desert; til to present time thou noldist here.
17 Por lo tanto, así dice Yahvé: En esto conocerás que Yo soy Yahvé: Mira que voy a golpear con la vara que tengo en la mano las aguas del río, y se convertirán en sangre.
Therfor the Lord seith these thingis, In this thou schalt wite, that Y am the Lord; lo! Y schal smyte with the yerde, which is in myn hond, the watir of the flood, and it schal be turned in to blood;
18 Los peces que hay en el río morirán, el río hederá, y los egipcios tendrán asco de beber las aguas del río’.”
and the fischis that ben in the flood schulen die; and the watris schulen wexe rotun, and Egipcians drynkynge the watir of the flood schulen be turmentid.
19 Yahvé dijo también a Moisés: “Di a Aarón: Toma tu vara, y extiende tu mano sobre las aguas de Egipto, sobre sus canales, sobre sus ríos, sobre sus lagunas y sobre todos sus depósitos de agua. Y se convertirán en sangre. Habrá sangre en toda la tierra de Egipto, lo mismo en las vasijas de madera que en las de piedra.”
Also the Lord seide to Moises, Seie thou to Aaron, Take thi yerde, and holde forth thin hond on the watris of Egipt, and on the flodis of hem, and on the stremys `of hem, and on the mareis, and alle lakis of watris, that tho be turned in to blood; and blood be in al the lond of Egipt, as wel in vessils of tree as of stoon.
20 Hicieron Moisés y Aarón como les había mandado Yahvé: Levantó (Aarón) la vara y golpeó las aguas en presencia del Faraón y de sus servidores, y se convirtieron todas las aguas del río en sangre.
And Moises and Aaron diden so, as the Lord comaundide; and Aaron reiside the yerde, and smoot the watir of the flood bifore Farao and hise seruauntis, which watir was turned in to blood;
21 Los peces que había en el río murieron, quedó apestado el río y los egipcios no podían beber las aguas del río; y hubo sangre en todo el país de Egipto.
and fischis, that weren in the flood, dieden; and the flood was rotun, and Egipcians myyten not drynke the water of the flood; and blood was in al the lond of Egipt.
22 Pero lo mismo hicieron los magos de Egipto con sus encantamientos; por lo cual se endureció el corazón del Faraón y no los escuchó, como había dicho Yahvé.
And the witchis of Egipcians diden in lijk maner by her enchauntementis; and the herte of Farao was maad hard, and he herde not hem, as the Lord comaundide.
23 Luego se volvió el Faraón y se retiró a su palacio sin hacer caso de estas cosas.
And he turnede awei hym silf, and entride in to his hows, nethir he took it to herte, yhe, in this tyme.
24 Y todos los egipcios cavaron en los alrededores del río para hallar agua potable, porque no podían beber las aguas del río.
Forsothe alle Egipcians diggiden watir `bi the cumpas of the flood, to drinke; for thei myyten not drynke of the `watir of the flood.
25 Pasaron siete días después que Yahvé había herido el río, y dijo Yahvé a Moisés: “Preséntate al Faraón y dile: Así dice Yahvé: Deja ir a mi pueblo para que me sirva. Y si rehúsas dejarlo ir, he aquí que voy a castigar todo tu país con ranas. El río bullirá de ranas, que subirán y entrarán en tu casa, en tu alcoba y en tu lecho, en las casas de tus servidores y entre tu pueblo, en tus hornos y en tus artesas. Subirán las ranas sobre ti, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre tus siervos.”
And seuene daies weren fillid, aftir that the Lord smoot the flood.
