2 Crónicas 5

1 Así fue acabada toda la obra que hizo Salomón para la Casa de Yahvé. Y trajo Salomón todas las cosas que su padre David había dedicado, y puso la plata, el oro y todos los objetos en los tesoros de la Casa de Dios.

Therfor Salomon brouyte in alle thingis, siluer and gold, whiche Dauid, his fadir, hadde avowid; and he puttide alle vesselis in the tresouris of the hows of the Lord.

2 Entonces Salomón reunió en Jerusalén a todos los ancianos de Israel, a todos los jefes de las tribus y a los príncipes de las casas paternas de los hijos de Israel, para trasladar el Arca de la Alianza de Yahvé desde la Ciudad de David, que es Sión.

After whiche thingis he gaderide togidere alle the grettere men in birthe of Israel, and alle the princes of lynagis, and the heedis of meynees, of the sones of Israel, in to Jerusalem, that thei schulden brynge the arke of boond of pees of the Lord fro the citee of Dauid, which is Syon.

3 Se reunieron en torno al rey todos los hombres de Israel, en la fiesta del mes séptimo.

Therfor alle men of Israel camen to the kyng, in the solempne dai of the seuenthe monethe.

4 Cuando hubieron llegado todos los ancianos de Israel, alzaron los levitas el Arca;

And whanne alle the eldre men of Israel `weren comen, the dekenes baren the arke,

5 e introdujeron el Arca juntamente con el Tabernáculo de la Reunión, y todos los utensilios del Santuario que había en el Tabernáculo, los cuales transportaron los sacerdotes levitas.

and brouyten it in, and al the aray of the tabernacle. Forsothe the preestis with the dekenes baren the vessels of seyntuarie, that weren in the tabernacle.

6 Entretanto el rey Salomón, con toda la Congregación de Israel que se había reunido en torno a él, estaba ante el Arca, ofreciendo ovejas y bueyes, incalculables e innumerables por su multitud.

Sotheli kyng Salomon, and alle the cumpenyes of Israel, and alle that weren gaderid to gidere, offriden bifor the arke wetheris and oxis with outen ony noumbre; for the multitude of slayn sacrifices was `so greet.

7 Los sacerdotes introdujeron el Arca de la Alianza de Yahvé en su lugar, en el Oráculo de la Casa, en el Santísimo, debajo de las alas de los querubines.

And preestis brouyten the arke of boond of pees of the Lord in to his place, that is, to Goddis answeryng place of the temple, in to the hooli of hooli thingis, vndur the wyngis of cherubyns;

8 Los querubines tenían las alas extendidas sobre el lugar del Arca, y cubrían a esta por encima, lo mismo que las varas.

so that cherubyns spredden forth her wyngis ouer the place, in which the arke was put, and hiliden thilke arke with hise barris.

9 Las varas del Arca eran tan largas que se dejaban ver sus extremos que salían un poco fuera del Santísimo; pero no se veían desde lejos: y allí están hasta el día de hoy.

Sotheli the heedis, by which the arke was borun, weren opyn bifor Goddis answeryng place, for tho heedis weren a litil lengere; but if a man hadde be a litil with out forth, he myyt not se tho barris. Therfor the arke was there til in to present dai;

10 En el Arca no había más que las dos tablas que allí había colocado Moisés en el Horeb, cuando Yahvé hizo alianza con los hijos de Israel, a su salida de Egipto.

and noon other thing was in the arke, no but twei tablis, whiche Moyses hadde put in Oreb, whanne the Lord yaf the lawe to the sones of Israel goynge out of Egipt.

11 Cuando los sacerdotes salieron del Santuario —pues todos los sacerdotes que estaban presentes se habían santificado, ni había orden de clases—

Forsothe the prestis yeden out of the seyntuarie, for alle preestis, that myyten be foundun there, weren halewid, and the whiles, and the ordre of seruyces among hem was not departid yit in that tyme;

12 y cuando todos los levitas cantores, Asaf, Hernán y Jedutún, con sus hijos y hermanos, vestidos de lino fino, estaban de pie al oriente del altar, tocando címbalos, salterios y cítaras, y con ellos ciento veinte sacerdotes, que tocaban las trompetas;

bothe dekenes and syngeris, that is, bothe thei that weren vndur Asaph, and thei that weren vndur Eman, and thei that weren vndur Idithum, her sones and britheren, clothid with white lynun clothis, sownyden with cymbalis and sautrees and harpis, and stoden at the west coost of the auter, and with hem weren sixe score preestis trumpynge.

13 cuando al mismo tiempo y al unísono se hicieron oír los que tocaban las trompetas y los cantores, alabando y celebrando a Yahvé, y cuando alzaron la voz con las trompetas y con los címbalos y otros instrumentos de música, sucedió que mientras alababan a Yahvé, diciendo: “Porque es bueno, porque es eterna su misericordia”, la Casa se llenó de una nube, la misma Casa de Yahvé;

Therfor whanne alle sungen togidur both with trumpis, and vois, and cymbalis, and orguns, and of dyuerse kynde of musikis, and reisiden the vois an hiy, the sown was herd fer, so that whanne thei hadden bigunne to preyse the Lord, and to seie, Knouleche ye to the Lord, for he is good, for his mercy is in to the world, `ether, with outen ende; the hows of God was fillid with a cloude,

14 y no pudieron permanecer los sacerdotes para hacer el servicio, a causa de la nube; porque la gloria de Yahvé llenaba la Casa de Yahvé.

and the preestis miyten not stonde and serue for the derknesse; for the glorie of the Lord hadde fillid the hows of the Lord.
