Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

5 Hijos de Jafet: Gómer, Magog, Madai, Javán, Tubal. Mósoc y Tiras.

The sons of Japheth, Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech and Tiras.

6 Hijos de Gómer: Asquenaz, Rifat y Togormá.

And, the sons of Gomer, Ashkenaz, and Diphath, and Togarmah.

7 Hijos de Javán: Elisa, Tarsis, Kitim y Dodanim.

And, the sons of Javan, Elishah, and Tarshish, —Kittim, and Rodanim.

8 Hijos de Cam: Cus, Misraim, Put y Canaán.

The sons of Ham, Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

9 Hijos de Cus: Sabá, Havilá, Sabrá, Raamá y Sabtecá. Hijos de Raamá: Sabá y Dedán.

And, the sons of Cush, Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And, the sons of Raamah, Sheba, and Dedan.

10 Cus engendró a Nimrod. Este fue el primero que se hizo poderoso en la tierra.

And, Cush, begat Nimrod, —he, began to be a mighty one in the earth.

11 Misraim engendró a los Ludim, los Anamim, los Lehabim, los Haftuhim,

And, Mizraim, begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

12 los Patrusim, los Casluhim, de donde han salido los filisteos y los caftoreos.

and Pathrusim, and Casluhim—whence went forth the Philistines, and Caphtorim.

13 Canaán engendró a Sidón, su primogénito, y a Het,

And, Canaan, begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth;

14 como también al Jebuseo, al Amorreo, al Gergeseo,

and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite;

15 al Heveo, al Arqueo, al Sineo,

and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite;

16 al Arvadeo, al Samareo y al Hamateo.

and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17 Hijos de Sem: Elam, Asur, Arfaxad, Lud, Aram, Hus, Hul, Géter y Mósoc.

The sons of Shem, Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, —and Uz, and Hul, and Gethur, and Meshech.

18 Arfaxad engendró a Sélah; Sélah engendró a Héber.

And, Arpachshad, begat Shelah, —and, Shelah, begat Eber.

19 A Héber le nacieron dos hijos; el nombre del uno era Fáleg, porque en sus días fue dividida la tierra; y el nombre de su hermano, Joctán.

And, unto Eber, were born two sons, —the name of the one, was Peleg, for, in his days, was the earth divided, and, the name of his brother, was Joktan.

20 Joctán engendró a Almodad, Sélef, Hazarmávet, Jérah,

And, Joktan, begat Almodad, and Sheleph, —and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah;

21 Hadoram, Uzal, Dicla,

and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah;

22 Ebal, Abimael, Sabá,

and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba;

23 Ofir, Havilá y Jobab; todos estos son hijos de Joctán.

and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these, were the sons of Joktan.

24 De Sem (descienden): Arfaxad, Sélah,

Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah;

25 Héber, Fáleg, Reú,

Eber, Peleg, Reu;

26 Serug, Nacor, Táreh.

Serug, Nahor, Terah;

27 Abram, que es el mismo que Abrahán.

Abram—the same, is Abraham.

28 Hijos de Abrahán: Isaac e Ismael.

The sons of Abraham, Isaac and Ishmael.

29 He aquí sus descendientes: El primogénito de Ismael: Nabayot; después Kedar, Adbeel, Mibsam,

These, are their generations, —the firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth, then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam;

30 Mismá, Dumá, Masá, Hadad, Temá;

Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema;

31 Jetur, Nafís y Kedmá. Estos son los hijos de Ismael.

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These, are the sons of Ishmael.

32 Hijos de Keturá, mujer secundaria de Abrahán, la cual dio a luz a Simrán, Jocsán, Medán, Madián, Jisbac y Súah. Hijos de Jocsán: Sabá y Dedán.

And, the sons of Keturah, the concubine of Abraham, she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah, —and, the sons of Jokshan, Sheba, and Dedan;

33 Hijos de Madián: Efá, Éfer, Enoc, Abidá y Eldaá. Todos estos son hijos de Keturá.

and, the sons of Midian, Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these, were the sons of Keturah.

34 Abrahán engendró a Isaac. Hijos de Isaac: Esaú e Israel.

So then Abraham begat Isaac, —the sons of Isaac, were Esau and Israel.

35 Hijos de Esaú: Elifaz, Reuel, Jeús, Jalam y Coré.

the sons of Esau, Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.

36 Hijos de Elifaz: Teman, Ornar, Sefí, Gatam, Kenaz, Timná y Amalee.

The sons of Eliphaz, Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

37 Hijos de Reuel: Náhat, Será, Samá y Mizá.

The sons of Reuel, Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38 Hijos de Seír: Lotán, Sobal, Sibeón, Aná, Disón, Éser y Disán.

And, the sons of Seir, Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, —and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

39 Hijos de Lotán: Horí y Homam. Hermana de Lotán: Timná.

And, the sons of Lotan, Hori, and Homam, —and, Lotan’s sister, was Timna.

40 Hijos de Sobal: Alyán, Manáhat, Ebal, Sefí y Onam. Hijos de Sibeón: Ayá y Aná.

The sons of Shobal, Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And, the sons of Zibeon, Aiah and Anah.

41 Hijos de Aná: Disón. Hijos de Disón: Hamram, Esbán, Itrán y Kerán.

The sons of Anah, Dishon, —and, the sons of Dishon, Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42 Hijos de Éser: Bilhán, Saaván y Jaacán. Hijos de Disán: Hus y Arán.

The sons of Ezer, Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan, Uz and Aran.

43 He aquí los reyes que reinaron en el país de Edom antes que reinase un rey sobre los hijos de Israel: Bela, hijo de Beor; el nombre de su ciudad era Dinhabá.

Now, these, are the kings, who reigned in the land of Edom, before there reigned a king of the sons of Israel, —Bela the son of Beor, and, the name of his city, was Dinhabah.

44 Murió Bela, y reinó en su lugar Jobab, hijo de Sera, de Bosra.

And Bela died, —and there reigned in his stead, Jobab son of Zerah, of Bozrah.

45 Murió Jobab, y reinó en su lugar Husam, de la tierra de los lemanitas.

And Jobab died, —and there reigned in his stead, Husham, of the land of the Temanites.

46 Murió Husam, y reinó en su lugar Hadad, hijo de Bedad, el cual derrotó a Madián en los campos de Moab; el nombre de su ciudad era Avit.

And Husham died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, and, the name of his city, was Avith.

47 Murió Hadad, y reinó en su lugar Samlá, de Masrecá.

And Hadad died, —and there reigned in his stead, Samlah of Masrekah.

48 Murió Samlá, y reinó en su lugar Saúl, de Rehobot del Río.

And Samlah died, —and there reigned in his stead, Shaul, of Rehoboth by the River.

49 Murió Saúl, y reinó en su lugar Baalhanán, hijo de Acbor.

And Shaul died, —and there reigned in his stead, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor.

50 Murió Baalhanán, y reinó en su lugar Hadad. El nombre de su ciudad era Paí, y el de su mujer Mehetabel, hija de Matred, hija de Mesahab.

And Baal-hanan died, —and there reigned in his stead, Hadad, and, the name of his city, was Pai, —and, the name of his wife, was Mehetabel, daughter of Matred, daughter of Mezahab.

51 Murió Hadad, y fueron caudillos de Edom: el caudillo Timná, el caudillo Alvá, el caudillo Jetet,

And Hadad died. And there were chiefs of Edom: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth;

52 el caudillo Oholibamá, el caudillo Elá, el caudillo Finón,

chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon;

53 el caudillo Kenás, el caudillo Teman, el caudillo Mibsar,

chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar;

54 el caudillo Magdiel, el caudillo Iram. Estos fueron los caudillos de Edom.

chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These, were the chiefs of Edom.
