Psalmi 132
1 Pesem preizvrstna. Spominjaj se, Gospod, Davida, z vso bridkostjo njegovo.
[A Song of Ascents.] LORD, remember David and all his affliction,
2 Da je prisegel Gospodu, obljubil mogočnemu Bogu Jakobovemu
how he swore to the LORD, and vowed to the Mighty One of Jacob:
3 "Ne pojdem v hišo svoje šator, stopil ne bodem v ležišče postelje svoje;
"Surely I will not come into the structure of my house, nor go up into my bed;
4 Spanja ne bodem dal svojim očém, dremanja trepalnicam svojim:
I will not give sleep to my eyes, or slumber to my eyelids;
5 Dokler ne najdem mesta za Gospoda, bivališča za mogočnega Boga Jakobovega."
until I find out a place for the LORD, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob."
6 Glej, slišali smo, da je bilo v Efratski deželi; našli smo ga bili v pokrajinah Jarovih.
Look, we heard of it in Ephrathah. We found it in the field of Jaar:
7 Bližamo se šatorom njegovim, priklanjamo se pred nog njegovih podnožjem.
"We will go into his dwelling place. We will worship at his footstool.
8 Vstani, Gospod, v svoj počitek, ti in skrinja moči tvoje.
Arise, LORD, to your resting place, you and the ark of your strength.
9 Duhovniki tvoji naj se oblečejo s pravico, in pojó naj, katere milostno sprejemlješ.
Let your priest be clothed with righteousness. Let your faithful ones shout for joy."
10 Zavoljo Davida, hlapca svojega, ne odvrni maziljenca svojega obličja.
For your servant David's sake, do not turn away the face of your anointed one.
11 Prisegel je Gospod Davidu resnico, od katere ne bode odstopil, govoreč: "Od telesa tvojega sadú bodem posadil na prestol tvoj.
The LORD has sworn to David in truth. He will not turn from it: "I will set the fruit of your body on your throne.
12 Ako se bodo držali zaveze moje sinovi tvoji in pričanj mojih posameznih, katera jih bodem učil, bodo tudi njih sinovi vekomaj sedeli na prestoli tvojem."
If your children will keep my covenant, my testimony that I will teach them, their children also will sit on your throne forevermore."
13 Ker Gospod je izvolil Sijon, želel si ga je za prebivališče svoje:
For the LORD has chosen Zion; he has desired it for his dwelling.
14 "To je počitek moj vekomaj, tu bodem prebival, ker to sem si želel.
"This is my resting place forever. Here I will live, for I have desired it.
15 Brašno njegovo bodem mogočno blagoslovil; potrebne njegove bodem nasitil z jedjo.
I will abundantly bless her provision. I will satisfy her poor with bread.
16 In duhovnike njegove bodem oblekel z blaginjo, in katere v nji blagovoljno sprejemam, bodejo peli.
Her priests I will also clothe with salvation. Her faithful ones will shout aloud for joy.
17 Tam bodem storil, da bode poganjal rog Davidov, kjer sem pripravil svetilo maziljencu svojemu.
There I will make the horn of David to bud. I have ordained a lamp for my anointed.
18 Sovražnike njegove bodem oblekel sè sramoto, nad njim pa bode cvèlo venčanje njegovo.
I will clothe his enemies with shame, but on himself, his crown will be resplendent."
