Исход 5
1 И по сих вниде Моисей и Аарон к фараону и реша ему: сия глаголет Господь Бог Израилев: отпусти люди Моя, да праздник сотворят Мне в пустыни.
Afterward Moses and Aaron came, and said to Pharaoh, “This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, says, ‘Let my people go, that they may hold a feast to me in the wilderness.’”
2 Рече же фараон: кто есть, Егоже послушаю гласа, яко отпустити имам сыны Израилевы? Не вем Господа, и Израиля не отпущу.
Pharaoh said, “Who is the LORD, that I should listen to his voice to let Israel go? I don’t know the LORD, and moreover I will not let Israel go.”
3 И глаголют ему: Бог Еврейский призва нас: пойдем убо путем трех дний в пустыню, да пожрем Господу Богу нашему, да не когда случится нам смерть или убийство.
They said, “The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Please let us go three days’ journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD, our God, lest he fall on us with pestilence, or with the sword.”
4 И рече им царь Египетский: вскую, Моисей и Аарон, развращаете люди моя от дел их? Идите кийждо вас на дела своя.
The king of Egypt said to them, “Why do you, Moses and Aaron, take the people from their work? Get back to your burdens!”
5 И рече фараон: се, ныне умножишася людие сии на земли: убо не дадим почити им от дел.
Pharaoh said, “Behold, the people of the land are now many, and you make them rest from their burdens.”
6 Заповеда же фараон приставником дел людских и книгочиям, глаголя:
The same day Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters of the people and their officers, saying,
7 не ктому приложите даяти плев людем к плинфоделанию, якоже вчера и третияго дне: но сами да идут и собирают плевы себе:
“You shall no longer give the people straw to make brick, as before. Let them go and gather straw for themselves.
8 и урок плинфоделания, еже они творят, на кийждо день наложите им: не уемлите ничтоже: праздни бо суть: сего ради возопиша, глаголюще: да пойдем, и пожрем Богу нашему:
You shall require from them the number of the bricks which they made before. You shall not diminish anything of it, for they are idle. Therefore they cry, saying, ‘Let’s go and sacrifice to our God.’
9 да отягчатся дела людий сих, и да пекутся о них, и не помыслят о словесех суетных.
Let heavier work be laid on the men, that they may labour in it. Don’t let them pay any attention to lying words.”
10 Понуждаху же их приставницы и книгочия и глаголаху людем, рекуще: сия глаголет фараон: не ктому даю вам плев:
The taskmasters of the people went out with their officers, and they spoke to the people, saying, “This is what Pharaoh says: ‘I will not give you straw.
11 сами вы шедше собирайте себе плевы, идеже аще обрящете: ибо не будет уято от урока вашего ничтоже.
Go yourselves, get straw where you can find it, for nothing of your work shall be diminished.’”
12 И разыдошася людие по всей земли Египетстей собирати тростие на плевы.
So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble for straw.
13 Приставницы же понуждаху их, глаголюще: совершайте дела ваша урочная на всяк день, якоже и егда плевы даяхом вам.
The taskmasters were urgent saying, “Fulfil your work quota daily, as when there was straw!”
14 И биени быша книгочия рода сынов Израилевых, иже быша приставлени над ними от приставников фараоновых, глаголюще: почто не совершисте урока вашего плинфеннаго, якоже вчера и третияго дне, такожде и днесь?
The officers of the children of Israel, whom Pharaoh’s taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and were asked, “Why haven’t you fulfilled your quota both yesterday and today, in making brick as before?”
15 Вшедше же книгочия сынов Израилевых, возопиша к фараону, глаголюще: почто ты тако твориши рабом твоим?
Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried to Pharaoh, saying, “Why do you deal this way with your servants?
16 Плев не дают рабом твоим, и плинфы нам глаголют творити: и се, раби твои мучими суть: обидиши убо людий твоих.
No straw is given to your servants, and they tell us, ‘Make brick!’ and behold, your servants are beaten; but the fault is in your own people.”
17 И рече им: праздни, праздни есте: сего ради глаголете: да идем, пожрем Богу нашему:
But Pharaoh said, “You are idle! You are idle! Therefore you say, ‘Let’s go and sacrifice to the LORD.’
18 ныне убо шедше делайте плев бо не дам вам, урок же делания плинфеннаго да отдаете.
Go therefore now, and work; for no straw shall be given to you; yet you shall deliver the same number of bricks!”
19 Видяху же книгочии сынов Израилевых себе во злых, глаголюще: не оставите плинфоделания урочнаго дню.
The officers of the children of Israel saw that they were in trouble when it was said, “You shall not diminish anything from your daily quota of bricks!”
20 Сретоша же Моисеа и Аарона, идущих во сретение им, исходящым им от фараона,
They met Moses and Aaron, who stood along the way, as they came out from Pharaoh.
21 и реша им: да видит Бог и судит вам, яко огнусисте дух ваш пред фараоном и пред рабы его, дати мечь в руки его убити нас.
They said to them, “May the LORD look at you and judge, because you have made us a stench to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to kill us!”
22 Возвратися же Моисей ко Господу и рече: молютися, Господи, почто озлобил еси люди сия? И вскую послал еси мя?
Moses returned to the LORD, and said, “Lord, why have you brought trouble on this people? Why is it that you have sent me?
23 И отнележе внидох к фараону, глаголати Твоим именем, (он) озлоби люди сия, и не избавил еси людий Твоих.
For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble on this people. You have not rescued your people at all!”
